Rouge came out when she heard the all the co-motion, "Logan whats going on?", she called out. Why was all Rouge could think, they had just got the school running again and now Magneto was already after him, when she got next to Wolverine she sighed. "You'd after all the times we've kicked Magneto's butt that he'd think twice about commin here and starting stuff. But I guess he's just thick headed", she said as she prepared to attack anyone that would harm the children.

Lance continued walking down the hall, still looking out for an attack by one of the X-Men. As he got close to the stairs for an upward floor, he heard a Louisianan accent that could only have belonged to Rogue. As he approached the stairs, he saw that Wolverine was with her. He was hesitant to approach them, since Wolverine would probably attack him on sight and Rogue could knock him out with just a touch of his face. But, maybe since they had history together, they would listen to him. Maybe...

Lance stepped fully into their view, his hands up in a gesture of peace.
"Rogue, Wolverine, I am not here to fight. I came here looking for Kitty. There is something I really need to talk to her about, and I need to do it before the rest of the Brotherhood either burst in or destroy the Mansion."
He began slowly moving up the stairs, taking one at a time.
"Please, can you tell me where to find Kitty?"

"Well Kid, that's just about what just happened. Magneto decided to pop in and say hello." Logan said as his claws came out. "And look who else showed up." He gestured towards Avalanche. "You think I really buy all that commotion Lancey? I know you like her but we're trying to save students while kicking you and your friend Magneto's butt." Logan took a threatening step. "Do you think that Kitty would want to see you after what you did by joining Magneto Lance? Cause I think that's what I think she might not want to do. She's trying to help students as well. Either you keep looking or skedaddle cause I'm this close to shishkabab ala Avalanche."

Avalanche looked at Wolverine as he said his piece. He kept a close eye on his adamantium claws.
"Magneto is not my friend," he said coolly.
Avalanche lowered his hands, and showed no signs of fear when Logan took a step forward.
"Yes, I think she would like to see me. Even when we were at war back then, we still kept our romance alive."

As he suspected, Kitty was trying to evacuate students.
"Fine, Wolverine, I'll keep looking. But if you try to get in my way, those little claws won't stop you from being buried under an avalanche."
Lance went down the stairs and began heading down the hall. He had no idea where Kitty could be, but he would find her. Lance proceeded forward, keeping on guard for attacks by other X-Men.

Freeze walked out of the hole in the wall, not sure that he could get his powers to do what he wanted them to do. Focus Freeze, you can do this. Just focus on freezing some of the enemy mutants. Freeze focused and one of the enemy mutants froze where they were, another one's upper body froze, and another's legs froze. Freeze smiled slightly, Okay, so I didn't freeze all of them like I wanted to, but I got one of them and half of the other's.

Vanille

Vanille gave a short nod toward Samael and watched him dash off to the front lines. Within a minute afterward, Mutants were flooding into the academy and attacking everyone in sight. Biting her lower lip, she bent her knees and was about to jump to grab an enemy Mutant when the whole building shook and cracked, the ceiling collapsing in some parts. Eyes becoming pinpoints as Vanille concentrated, trying to keep the ceiling up as best she could in at least this room, she didn't realize that the range her power encompassed had expanded to more than just the ceiling- it had spread to the whole room. Mutants all began to float skyward slowly, but things such as chairs, desks, and broken parts of the floor shot up. Realizing her mistake too late, Vanille let everything fall back, but couldn't stop the chunk of tiled cement still coming toward her. Letting out a scream as she was knocked flat against the ceiling, held fast by the solid piece sandwiching her left leg.

"Samael!" Vanille's voice was between a sob and a scream as she struggled to get free of the floor that kept her leg pinned.

Kitty

Kitty was concentrating on protecting her students, trying vainly to get them to go to the safe house. She could hear their yells and screams, but Kitty couldn't distinguish battle cries from pain. However, one voice did faintly break through the madness.

"Kitty! Kitty, it's me, Lance!"

"Lance?" Kitty delivered a last hit to the Mutant she had been fighting before she phased and took off running, going through objects and people and doing her best to not sink into the floor.

"Lance!" she yelled, having finally gotten out of the classroom.

She wasn't sure how Lance would hear her over the chaos, but she half-hoped he would. Running up the nearby stairs, she yelled for the kids to get to the safe house, not that they weren't already running there.

Flower

Flower glanced over at Circuit, hearing him say something to Magneto after Avalanche ran off.

Turning her attention back to the battle before them, Flower frowned. Her hands were itching- a sign that the adrenaline in her veins was making her power overactive. In other words, her power was trying to claw its way out of her skin. Without thinking, she took off running toward the mansion, her powers in control now as they led her towards an outlet- the Mutant children in the Mansion.

Magneto

Magneto frowned when Avalanche disobeyed him, but didn't say anything. This would bring his plan to effect either way, so the only thing that bothered him was that his command was ignored.

Turning his attention to Circuit, he shook his head. "Not yet. The time is not yet right."

His eyes narrowed at Flower as she took off toward the mansion and his hand twitched, his powers sliding into effect. He saw the brunette's head turn as everything metal that she was wearing tightened and began to literally drag her back to Magneto, Waspa, Wraith, and Circuit. Releasing her, he saw her glare and simply ignored it, instead changing his interest to her necklace- the one he had only just now seen the charm of.

"Why do you wear that necklace, young lady?" his voice was calm and concise.

"My mother said that my father gave it to me as a baby, before he left. She said it's his initial or something." Flower answered quietly.

Magneto fell silent. He could see the connection now and he wasn't going to risk Flower leaving if she found out. Silently, he wondered how he had never noticed, seen how much she looked like Charles.

"You never disappear do you, old friend?" he murmured, mind in the past- memories of him and the now-dead man known to him as Charles Xavier and to all else as Professor X.

Hal was never great at getting up when he was supposed to and so he was still asleep when the battle began. With the sounds of battle raging all around Hal was starting to think that coming to the school wasnt his best idea. suddenly there was the feeling of an earthquake and Hal was wide awake. to his knowledge there was only him currently at the school with the power to manipulate the earth and the wasnt a natural quake. looking outside Hal saw that there was a battle raging and this really excited him, it was his first day and it was time for him to show his supiriority over the other student with his great control over his powers.

rushing from his room Hal could feel himself wanting to meet his first enemy and it wasnt long before he got that wish. one of the brotherhood was standing in his way. "oh look another little student for me to play with and whats the special name that they gave you, from the look of you i'd say your some kind of strongman so aslong as you dont get close i'm fine right?" the man asked with a smile. "hahaha you could say i'm a strongman but my names Gaia you might wat top remeber it and tell all your friends to fear me" Hal said and seeing the puzzled look on the guys face he added "its the name of the god of earth idiot."

after a short think the brotherhood member said "so if you control earth then your powerless in here so i win" and burt out laughing. Hals face dropped and he walked over to the wall and said "your right i've failed how could i have even thought of fighting in a building DAMN!". To punctuate the last word he slamed his fist onto the wall and a brick fired from the wall at the side of the guys head hiutting him full force knocking him out. "man that guy was a fool this whole building contains bits of earth and i control it all. I AM GAIA!!!!!!" Hal yelled before heading off down the hall.

Samael seemed to have gotten through to the one who was bringing the mansion down. Unfortunately, he then sent a shock wave towards him through the earth. It sent Samael flying backwards into a pile of enemy mutants, seeing a lightning bolt fly directly over him. He slowly got up after catching his breath. He noticed that some of his fellow students had entered the fray alongside him and had already taken down a lot of the enemy. They stood in a sort of line facing the enemy. He noticed one of brotherhood was stirring and it look like his hand caught and he was aiming it at a girl with knives. He quickly stabbed him in the back with his tail, his head fell to the ground.

He was about to head in for another attack but he heard a voice say his name. "Samael!" His head immediately snapped his head in the direction of the voice. It was a voice he recognized. "Vanille!" Samael completely forgot about the battle and sprinted on all fours back to help the only person that showed genuine kindess to him that wasn't his mother. When he got there, there were several brotherhood mutants unconscious on the ground. He then heard whimpering and looked up. He saw Vanille trapped under a chunk of the floor that was pinning her leg. "Vanille!" he yelled and leaped up to where she was. He down at the block and and grabbed it. Then with all his might he grabbed it, picked it up and threw it as far as he could across the room. He inspected her leg. It was badly bruised and bleeding. He couldn't tell if it broken or not but it was obvious she was in pain. Because of the odd nature of her powers and the condition of her leg, he couldn't move her. He also didn't want to leave her alone just in case, besides, she was crying. It's not that he wouldn't leave her, he couldn't. He instead wrapped his arms around her and slowly rocked her back back in forth. "Shhhhhh. Ive got you. Nothings gonna harm you, not vhile I'm around." He rested his chin on her head and continued to comfort her. He heard the rage of battle outside. He heard the screams of the dying and injured. Even though the world was going to hell around them, he was not lying to Vanille. He would die before he let anyone touch her.

There was no options open for Charlie, even as the pain of battle filled his head the others in the class headed for the front lines. The flood of emotions ripped into the boy's skull; Anger, fear, hatred, terror. He couldn't shut them off, even as everyone left to his knees, clutching his forehead as the world began to shudder. The walls pulled themselves apart as his mind did the same. The emotions permeated him, twisting his own thoughts until he was one with the chaos. He couldn't back down, if there was any semblance of normality after this the others would undoubtedly never let him live it down. He managed to pull himself to his feet and stagger outside the room, already the fresh mental noise was dulling as he managed to conquer it slightly. He entered into a great battlefield, the interior of the academy was madness as small groups of mutants battled. They were hardly indistinguishable, the attackers could just have easily been students. He roughly avoided the small bush fire battles, unsure of what to do.

In the madness he was lost, unsure of what to do. Somehow through the noise, the shouts, screams and thunders of battle he heard a piercing scream, accompaining a sharp stab of pain from nearby. He stumbled into a collapsed room, concrete dust swirled in the air. He could feel the heavy pain lacing through a body, not knowing who it was. Obviously whatever happened was recent, already the dust was settling revealing several figures. Before he could get a better look he was nearly knooked off his feet by a flash of a dark body. He almost struck out in anger, the same fury of hundreds of foes that seeped its way into him. He noticed the familiar shape of a fellow student and held himself back, although a part of him screamed for action. Samael ascended to the ceiling next to one of the figures who defied gravity, although she was coated in grey dust Charlie could pick out the features and power of one of his class mates. There was a heavy mass pinning her against the ceiling, a bizarre inverse of what would be normal. In a impressive feat of strength the physically mutated boy hauled the ugly piece off her leg. The was an odd moment where it seemed caught in midair before normality reasserted itself and the block slammed to the floor. The pain throbbed through Charlie's mind, fresh now with the removal of the block. He watched as Samael took Vanille in a embrace, surprised at the warmth of care emanating from the boy in the midst of a war zone. His black eyes lightened, a slight blue drifting into them and he smiled at the upside down scene.

Even as the kindness warmed him he felt another presence grow stronger, a hate and anger, a desire to kill and a slight relief. Charlie quickly twisted as a mutant attempted to grapple him from behind. There was a moment of surprise in the other's face which Charlie took advantage of. He balled a fist and send it into the other's stomach, crushing the air from him and sending him doubling over. Charlie winced as he felt the impact in his own gut but continued the attack. He sent an elbow into his assailant's face, hearing and feeling the sharp crack of a broken nose. His foe stumbled back through the door way, Charlie jammed himself against the frame and brace a kick for the others face. He winced as he felt the hard impact of a foot and the the foe crashed backwards into the far side of the corridor, still stunned. Blood dribbled from the mutant's nose, mouth and the cuts where the kick landed. He was bigger then Charlie and managing to get his defenses up as he finally got a grasp of the combat. Living on the streets did give the smaller teenager an advantage and he pressed his attack, stolen anger brimming in his red eyes and gleeful smile. Another punch into the ribs from the left he grasped the foe's head. Bringing jaw down against his rising knee. There was a crack as the teeth shattered against each other. The combatants stumbled away from each other. The brotherhood boy moaning and clutching his maimed jaw as blood dripped between split lips. Charlie gripped his head, the pain shooting through him and he cried at the injury he inflicted. He recovered first and delivered his coup de grace. Slamming the other hard into the wall. He felt a the sharp thud through the back of his head as the other dropped to the ground, the head contact driving the last sense from him.

The small battle released a notable amount of Charlie's anger, his eyes no long glowed a dark red. Instead they were simply black, as emotionless as the chaos within his mind. He glanced back into the room behind him where the roof dwellers were private. He smiled as he caught a piece of their peace. It was a peace he had helped bring about, although he no doubt that Samael could have taken down the mutant if he had entered. He left the two. Sounds of battle echoed through the halls and once again Charlie was at a loss to do, adrenaline flooded through him and demanded action. He made his way outside, where the battle was raging. He wasn't sure what he was doing, the leeching of anger drove him to action however. He emerged into the sunlight and a greater battlefield. Like inside small pockets of combatants split apart the emotions of each member stronger now. He winced at the pain taking a moment to get used to the new influx. He paused, mutants were weilding powers here, there and everywhere. Going up against them in a fist fight like earlier would leave him a disadvantage, he needed to use his 'gifting'. He hardly knew how to restrain it, let alone use it at a weapon. He figured he would give a try, although he knew that whatever he did he couldn't keep it up. He couldn't block out the pain he inflicted, it would leave him weak. Spontaneously he grabbed the arm of a girl who exited the building soon after. Something about her blonde hair seemed familiar. Not that he recognised Memory from his class. He smiled, although it could not help but look insincere. His black eyes and the confused emotions running through his mind mutilated his attempt. "Hey," he began, feeling slightly silly "Its better backing each other up right?" He could feel her fear and nervousness through the contact "I'm nervous too, I've hardly used my power." He waited for her response, not sure what she could actually say.

Taking advantage of a break in the fight, Lucas slumped against a wall, panting. He had been using his powers non-stop for a while now, and it was taking it's toll on him, the effort making him feel like his head was gonna explode...although that might have been the memories from the minds whose heads he had exploded from the inside...It scared him that he could use his abilities in this way, and he felt like his victim's lat thoughts would haunt him for the rest of his life, he now knew how a soldier felt when he had been forced to take innocent lives in conflict. Maybe this wasn't exactly the same thing, since these guys had attacked them, but some of the attackers had been mere children, younger than him, and the fear in both their faces and their minds was tough to forget...
He felt someone else coming, and pushed himself up wearily, ready as he would ever be to resume the fight. Break's over, I guess... he thought as he silently proceeded to take yet more lives, pushing his power, and his sanity past the point he should have stopped. He would pay for this later, he knew, but the pain didn't matter now, it was him, and it was his weapon...

Lance continued walking until he heard the sweetest voice in all the world. Even after all of those years, he could still remember it.
"Kitty?"
He followed her voice, seeing her standing at the top of the stairs. Lance rushed up the stairs and grabbed her by the hand, pulling her into a room so that they would be out of sight of the other mutants. After shutting and locking the door behind them, Lance pulled her into a hug.

When he was done with the hug, he removed his helmet and placed it on the bed so that he could be seen better.
"Kitty, it's been too long. I missed you so much."
He gently placed his hands on her hips, and kissed her precious lips. When he was finished, he winked at her.
"You developed into quite a sexy woman while I was away."

Lance turned and went to the window, a frown creasing his face. He could see the carnage unfolding outside, and it disturbed him.
"War has certainly changed for us. Back when we were teenagers, even the most heated conflicts never resulted in death. Now, it is everywhere. I will have many comrades to bury when this day is through, and so, I fear, will you."

Lance turned toward her, a smile creasing his face.
"Not a day has gone by that I haven't thought about you. Not a day has gone by when I wonder how different my life would be if I had stayed with the X-Men."
He stood in front of her and placed his hands on her shoulders.
"Kitty, for too long our love has been held back by this invisible fence called faction. But, now we have the chance to change all of that."

Lance looked into her eyes.
"Let's go away, Kitty, far away. Let's forget about the X-Men and the Brotherhood and being mutants. Let's buy a house somewhere, get married, and raise a family. What do you say, Kitty?"
Lance rested his forehead against hers as he waited for her response.

Circuit

Circuit displayed a questioning look toward Magneto’s words. Waiting till the time was right? Why not now? The questions went through his head, before he decided to just hold his position. He needed to watch out for anyone coming at them from the new centered position he now took since Lance ditched the group. Just when he could see that the fight was starting to get serious, his eyes shot open to a sphere of water crashing into him. He wasn’t ready for the ranged attack, but took the hit to his torso much better than an average human would. The water had splashed all over him, which would effectively mess with the use of his powers, but he could deal with it for now. Circuit was more focused on where the attack came from, and by the looks of a certain mutant’s display of powers, Circuit knew exactly who it was. She’s actually cute… Too bad though.

“Let’s go.” Circuit said before firing a weakened by widespread streak of electricity toward Aradia. Damn, that’s usually not that fucked up. I have to focus. Circuit thought this as he got ready to fire another shot to follow up his second attack.

On her way back to the classroom, Blackout saw Lucas slumped against a wall. Making sure to keep the umbrella up, she walked over to him, a worried expression on her face. "Are you alright? You don't look so good..." Her thoughts where half focused on him and half on keeping the light away from her. She reached his side in a few steps and took the sunglasses off so that he could see her face better. Her eyes were a mixture of blue and black as she concentrated to keep the area around her a bit darker than the rest of the area around them. After she pocketed her sunglasses, she reached out to place a hand on his shoulder.

Lucas flinched away from the 'Shadow-girl', narrowly avoiding her hand. His head was in pain already, physical contact just made it worse...
"D-Don't t-touch me...i-it'll h-hurt both of us", he stammered, hating himself for it, but even the raging battle hadn't taken away the fear of lashing out at a friend with his power, he didn't want to hurt this girl, when she was genuinely concerned for him. Still breathing heavily, he pushed himself up, and turned to the girl, and gave a tiny smile, to reassure her.
"I-I'll be f-fine...j-just h-had to r-rest a bit...", he knew that his exhausted stuttering was probably doing nothing to convince her of that, but he didn't want her trying to touch him again.

After justrunning for a short while in the school Hal had racked up a fair amount of bodies but he wasnt a killer so they where all unconsious and had been quickly removed from the building with the use of his powers. Due to his current adrenaline levels though Hal had been failing to notice that with each use of his powers his left foot was getting slightly heavier.

still running around the school Hal entered a room that really seemed in a bad way. He wasnt sure how he knew but hal could tell this was damage caused by the earlier earthquake. at first glance of the room hal thought it was empty but on closer inspection he saw someone with a physical mutation sat on the ceiling, holding something that to Hal seemed to be a person but he couldnt tell if the person was live or dead. Hal looked for a moment but he wasnt sure whose side the mutant was on but it didnt matter his attention seemed way away from the battle.

"looks like you have seen enough of this battle so dont worry feel free to stay out of it now because i'm all we need" Hal said heading to one of the doors off the room. "this battle will be over in no time because i got this" Hal said before running out of the room and continueing his search for the sorce of the earthquake that had woken him.

Aradia glanced from the corner of her eye and a bolt of electricity coming towards her. She spread the water as far as she could to absorb it so that she would be the only one hurt. it struck the water, in turn shocking her. She shook it off as best as she could, but that didn't mean it didn't hurt like hell. Oh, she was mad now, and she was sure that everyone noticed as the water became a rushing wave. She could see the little electric punk who did it and she focused on him. "Come on, is that all you got?" she shouted at him, hoping to taunt him further.

She didn't care to wait for a response from him and sent another ball of water at him. It just missed the her mark and splashed all over the mutant standing next to him. "Ah crap, it's just not my day" she mumbled after throwing another at him, this time with much more speed. She hoped it would hit his face.

Blackout quickly dropped her hand down to her side and adjusted the positioning of her umbrella so that she could lean against the wall next to Lucas. "Sorry..." She sighed quietly before glancing around, her eyes slowly turning darker. "If you wish, I could try to keep them away from you... I can't fight well, but I'll try." She gave a small smile, taking out a knife from her pocket and holding it in front of her as she pushed herself off from the wall. She walked a few steps away, giving him some space. Suddenly, a mutant came down the corridor and smiled cruelly at her. She frowned a little and threw the knife, it hit the mutant in the chest, killing them. Swiftly, she pulled another couple of knives from her pocket as the shadows started to swirl around her.

Circuit

Circuit had smirked when the water manipulator took his attack. Though he was pleased with the succession of his attack, but he didn’t want the girl going down so easily. He almost chuckled to himself at idea as he thought about it with a sexual meaning. Circuit had carelessly let the thought distract him from the first attack she sent at him, but fortunately for himself, she missed and hit Waspa who had gone to cover him instead. Circuit chuckled again, enjoying this skirmish more than he had anticipated.

“Is that all you got?” Circuit said mocking his opponent before she sent another water ball at him, this time. It was faster than the first, and though he had time to attempt a dodge, he just put his hands up and let the attack knock him off balance. His right foot was off the ground for a few seconds, but he managed to recover. Circuit taking these attacks was all due to what he described as his exoskeleton. He was fine for the most part, but his shirt was getting damp. Circuit quickly tore his thermal shirt off, wearing just a white muscle shirt underneath. Taking a quick look at his forearms, he found small cracks in his natural armor. “I’m not gonna lie, I really hit it off with you. I gotta end this though.” Circuit said before reaching his hand out toward the girl. A quick streak of electricity hits her, but doesn’t shock her at all. He then lifts his hand up, making her levitate upward. Circuit grins before he notices his body being surrounded in the electromagnetic energy. “Shit!” Circuit cursed before looking up at the girl who flew directly into him, knocking him over. “Damn, why do you have to have that stupid power?” Circuit shouted as he tried to get the girl demagnetized from himself.

Wraith observed with what could have passed for slight amusement on his features. Thin lips pressed together and twitched up at the corners, his eyes were filled with a dark glee that could send shivers through most. They were hollow, emotionless, exempt of all except pure unbridled malice. The battle was a thing of beauty, he could almost taste the death on the air. He could imagine a sweet fragrance drifting from maimed and stilled bodies. Blood emptying from drying veins and lending the grass a lovely crimson. Hearts beating their frantic lasts and lungs failing to breathe. It was all a tapestry of glorious slaughter. Yet Xander could not join in. He could not stride among the corpses or bring delectable death to the living. Magneto restrained him, much to his great pity. So he waited, knowing that his limitless desire for death would be sated in time. He could look beyond the day, He would soon feast upon the lives of the weaker species without limitation.

So he stood, his great presence still. His heartless smile seemed to draw out the joy from those around him, just as they could feel the cold chill of his life piercing aura. The individual events of the others were of no consequence. He would not trouble himself with lesser creatures unless it is to bring such sweet pain to their fragile bodies. He so longed to slaughter them, to march like Death incarnate and wield the scythe of destruction. He could imagine it, just like so many times before. He would hear their screams of pain while he stripped life from them in their helplessness. All of flesh and blood were victims to his will, as twisted and as blessed as it was. He watched, wind whipping across his smooth flesh and lifting his white cape and hair in twists and flutters. All ought to see him and fear.

Out the corner of his eye he caught a wisp of motion. He turned to spot a young girl, no older then perhaps sixteen or seventeen. There was a steely glint in her eyes. Her right hand held a knife, deadly sharp in the reflecting sunlight. The others seemed otherwise occupied and even Magneto didn't seem to notice. His small smile split his face, the corner of his lips lifting to reveal sharp white canines. His eyes filled with a dark glee as he simply stepped forward. The girl whipped her head around, brown hair sweeping with the reaction. She was caught for a moment, uncertain whether to engage the new threat to push forwards to Magneto. She decided to late, not that anything could have saved her. A light motion of Wraith's clawed hand and she was rendered immobile. At that moment fear filled her eyes, he body was no longer hers to command. She was a mind trapped within a cage of flesh. Wraith cocked his head to the side and looked over his prey. Already he could hear the sweet screams and the taste the terrible pain he was about to bring. He lifted his hand, each fingernail filed into vicious points. Her body drifted into air, arms and legs limp. Terror streamed from her eyes, already red and sore, unable to blink. Girls were Wraith's favorite, their bodies so much more fragile and their screams of pain so much more inciting.

He kept his hand upraised as his thoughts directed her body. Against her will, although there was no signs of struggle, the hand clench a dagger moved across to hover about the smooth flesh of her left arm. He pressed the point down into the skin, the sharp heat of the point flared through him. Trickles of blood began to flow down her arm as the dagger was drawn upward slowly, slicing greedily through the protective cells. He clenched her fist, nails slicing into her palm. More pain and Xander did not flicker, his eyes filled only with elation and his smile pitiless. Blue eyes begged for release, tinged red as droplets of salty water ran down the side of her nose. He pushed the dagger in deeper, slicing into the muscles beneath the skin. It twisted, pressing through as blood flooded out of the ragged hole. He let her release the dagger and her right arm dropped limp again. He gave her back command of her voice as his mind grasped the red flesh and began to peel it from her injured arm. Her scream tore through the air, piercing and adding to the melange of noises from the battle. He drank it in, breathing deeply as if the pain he could feel was a drifting scent. Her skin pulled away from the red mass of her arm muscles, he could feel the burning agony he inflicted and delighted in it. He lifted his head back and began to laugh in his elation. It was the voice of a mad man, shuddering through the minds of all who heard. In chorus with the girls heart rending screams of pain the sound was inexplicably evil. Suddenly the screams shuddered to a stop as the flesh of forearm was torn from the muscle in one sicking ripping of flesh. The pain had run its course, her mind ruined by the incredible horror. Blood flooded from the skinless arm as the the flesh once concealing it floated between the two.

Wraith's grey eyes looked over the mutilation in glee, the beauty of it filled him. It was only a pity she could not withstand more, her mind was weak. As could be expected from a lower being. He extinguished her life, upraised hand clenching. Within the girls chest the heart rendered itself. Ribbons of heavy muscle sliced away until there was no longer an organ that could be defined as the life giving pump. With the task done Wraith turned his attention to the crimson fluid sinking into the thirsty earth. It began to condense, streaming upwards in a inverse of gravity a flowing towards the manipulator. It washed over his hand, bathing the white skin in red. Yet even as it did so he absorbed the life blood, drawing it into himself, feeling the life giving forces flood him and energy fill his body.

Lucas nodded to the girl, the clutched at his head...the thoughts of someone being controlled, the mix of the controller and the victim both tearing through his mind at once. The victim was in agony, yet unable to do anything but scream as the dominating mind made her slowly kill herself....
As much as he could, Lucas tore himself away from the scene beingplayed out in his mind, though it remained regardless, just numbed to him. He turned to the girl and nodded again, to make her realise he was okay, and tried to focus his tired mind again, in order to attack the next 'batch' of idiots that tried to end them.

Aradia crashed into the mutant with electric powers. "Ugh," she said as she tried to detach herself from him. "i bet it's not hard for you to find a date," she mumbled under her breath. She took a fighting stance as best as she could, but the fall had sprained her ankle and it hurt somewhat to put pressure on it. She drew more water from the pond and wrapped it closely to herself like an exoskeleton. If this one's powers counter mine, I can break him down like this she thought with a smirk on her face. She didn't need to make air holes on her "armor" .She didn't need air to breath. She wanted to taunt him but the words would come out weird because of the water.

She made the first move and sent another water ball at him. She wanted to do so much more, but she couldn't divide her focus between a powerful attack and her water armor. Her head already hurt like hell from the concentration it took to maintain the water. She just hoped it would be over soon, so she could just sleep this whole ordeal off.

Waspa was not really all that sure why he was having to fight the x-mansion. He has no hatred toward the x-men, because they were fellow mutants and could feel the same abandonment and hatred from the humans as he could. However they do help the humans and have in the past stopped attacks led by Magneto. He trusted Magneto's judgement, but did not go full force on his enemies for a few reasons. 1. He didn't want to try to kill anyone or get himself killed in the process (How much help could he be to Magneto dead?) and 2. He didn't want the X-men knowing all of his powers and coming up with ways to kill him in the future (there are too many eyes on a battlefield... Waspa may defeat a few enemies with his full force, but anyone who escapes will then know what he does and he won't have the element of surprise.) So he stayed back as Magneto commanded and took out a few flying students that were eager to fight Magneto directly. Easily using the insects that live inside of his body to distract or even paralyze them to a point where they fall from the sky and directly in to the middle of the battle.

#, as written by Zetna
Maestro’s eyes widened as he arrived at the school. “What the hell...” There was a war going on here... and it was between mutants. The large building was obviously a very big school. Maestro hid in a bush for the moment, trying to figure out what was happening. The school was extremely large and Maestro could obviously see that it was a school of mutants. And those other guys were mutants also...but why were they attacking the school. Most of them were kids and seemed like most of them where kids though. He wasn’t sure who the good guys were. Smirking he looked around, trying to find someone who seemed like the “Boss.” His eyes traveled the scene until they stopped at one man. He was old and very imposing. He wore a large black cape with a red lining. He seemed to be talking with another girl. The girl had run away and he had brought her back by lifting his hand. Seeing from closer he saw that her necklace were stretching towards his hand. Maestro smirked. These mutants’ powers seemed to revolve around metal. He sighed and looked at himself. He didn’t have any metal on him. He checked his pockets and his clothing three times to make sure. If anything went wrong he would need to be sure he wouldn’t be in trouble near this mutant.

So standing up he simply walked up to him. He ignored the fact that everyone could see him. He chuckled and tilted up his hat. His grey skin was extremely visible now in the sunlight. He smiled and stopped next to the man, unaware that it was in fact Magneto he had spotted. Looking at him and then back at the mansion he chuckled. “One hell of an army you got yourself here....” He knew what he had just done was pretty stupid, considering he didn’t know how hostile this man was. Maestro wasn’t on any side but he would need to choose one soon. He chuckled again at his boldness and looked back at Magneto. “My names Maestro by the way...”

Blackout smiled at Lucas before leaning into a crouch and closing her eyes. She reached out with the shadows around her, they would let her know if something was coming. She sighed quietly as she tried to concentrate, the lights in the area flickering once in a while as she almost lost control of her power on several occasions, but she managed to bring the shadows back under her control before something happened. "I don't think that anyone is going to come near here, it might be best to move somewhere else if you're wanting to fight..." She opened her eyes and looked up at Lucas.

"I-I don't w-want to fight...j-just don't wanna die...", Lucas whispered, looking to the ground, the memory of what had just went through his mind still distressing him...if they came across that evil presence, would he be able to withstand it? Or would his power make him more vulnerable to it? He did however, like the idea of moving somewhere else to fight, maybe someplace where he could calm down a bit more, so he could focus? he tried the clairvoiance, but with confusing results, since he couldn't channel it into a drawing, like he usually did. Besides, there was too much going on, the battle could go either way at this point...the future could branch out in a million different ways now, too many to be seen, even with his power...he felt so useless...if he could just see how everything was going to play out, he could save people, prevent more deaths...but he just didn't have that control yet...
