Raven's Story

Raven was so tired of her stopid school. Everyone was losers especially those ditzy cheerleaders who always made fun of her boots. I mean, she bought them at Hot Topic how could they be lame? Anyway she was sitting in the cafeteria looking really pale and depressed in the corner (though still really hot) when this crowd of guys came by. They were all pale and good looking but their leader was the palest and best looking of all of them. He almost looked like he had leukemia or something (except he still had really thick hair, you know the kind you want to run your hands through OMG <3!!!!!). Their eyes met and time slowed down. His crew looked even cooler now that time slowed down because they were all walking real slow. But Raven hardly noticed, since she was lost in this hot guy's sparkly eyes (not sparkly in a gay way but sparkly in a OMG I <3 <3 Your EYES way). Did he even see her? Did he notice her? Did he shop at Hot Topic too? So many questions were rushing through her mind.

"Who is that guy," she asked her friend Cindy, who was noticeably less attractive then her.

"Oh him," said Cindy putting down her cell phone for a second, "he's one of those types."

"What types?"

"You know, vampires. Geez, Raven, what did you miss the orientation."

Raven couldn't believe he was actually talking to her. She was about to freak out when she remembered that freaking out over a boy wouldn't look very emo, so instead she was all like, "oh you think so," as if it was no big thing. She was still looking all coy and playing with her scarlet red bangs when the bell rang and everyone started to return to class. Cindy had to drag her away because his sparkly eyes held onto her like crazy glue or something.

When they got into the hall way and no one could see them they both started freaking out. "OH MY GAWD!" Raven screamed.

"OH MY GAWD!" Cindy screamed back.

"OH MY....wait... did you say he's a vampire."

"Well Duuh, almost everyone at this school is some sorta monster. We're just here to fill a human quota or something. Now hurry up or we'll be late for algebra."

"Ugg," Raven groans, "math is so stopid."

"Who was that?" Raven asked Cindy as they hustled off to class.

"Oh that's just Lily, she thinks she's sooooo special just because she was a Goddess, but now she's here slumming it with us mortals."

Raven thought about the fact that she looked a lot more dark and emo when contrasted with Lily's bright and shiny personality. It was sort of the way she felt more attractive when walking beside her mousy and undesirable friend, Cindy. "Somehow I have the feeling Lily and I are going to be friends."

"Your funeral. Well, here's our class, try not to spend the whole time dreaming about your vampire boy friend."

Raven blushed so hard that her cheeks almost had color for a moment, "Cindy, I never said I wanted to date him."

"Oh don't kid me, Raven, you know you want to have his day-walker babies."

They took their seats in class. Raven sat in the back of the class because that was where all the nonconformists sat. When she looked up she noticed the teacher was a demon. He had red skin, horns and a long tail with one of those pointy things that devils have at the end of their tail. 'Looks like this semester, math is really going to be hell,' thought Raven and laughed. She wrote down the joke at the top of her notebook so she could tell it to Cindy after class then she started doodling. Did I mention Raven was really good at doodling? Anyway, she was.

Raven tried to concentrate on her doodling but she couldn't with the class jock doing all his martial arts thingies with cinderblocks and what not. 'He's probably trying to compensate for not being a vampire,' Raven thought. She felt a little sorry for him. As if any girl would date a human when there was a school full of beautiful, broody monsters ready to suck her blood and stuff.

Raven was busy with her doodling when a note nearly landed right on her nose. She noticed that bubbly girl Lily's head was about to burst in anticipation so she opened the note and read it. She was actually asking her if she thought that Ken guy was cute. 'YUCK... I mean maybe if he was a werewolf,' Raven thought, 'hey maybe he is a werewolf...' Raven wrote on the back of the note, only if he is a werewolf... or maybe a werebadger. She folded up the note, and tossed it but it didn't go far enough (it takes a Goddess to pass a note that far and Raven was only a mortal). Instead it landed right on KEN'S DESK OMG!!! AWKWAAAAAARD

Fortunately Ken vaporized the embarassing note when he released his ki. Unfortunately he also vaporized two of the class's vampires. Raven was relieved Ken would never see the note but so sad for the vampires. They were just sitting there, sparkling, minding their own business and now their nothing but small piles of glitter on they're seats. Raven now knew Ken was no werewolf, he was a mean vampire slayer and that made him a greater enemy to all things emo than the Disney Channel and the Gap combined. He had to be stoped.

The demon teacher wasn't too happy with Ken's antics either and said, "what have I told you about slaying vampires in my class, no go to the principal's office this instant." You could tell he was mad to because the room got all hot and I think the clocks even started turning backwards.
