Many centuries ago there was a war on Earth, a battle between the forces of Good and Evil, Light and Darkness. They fought over a powerful gem, if possessed by one side they would be granted unlimited power, enough to crush their opponent and take over the entire universe. The leader of Angels, Angelo made a hard decision, instead of fighting for the gem they would destroy, and that's exactly what happened. The black and white jewel was broken into two pieces and entrusted to the head Angel. After that the war moved away from Earth and to an unseen dimension. No one knew what the angel did with the two halves, and they wouldn't for hundreds of years to come. Secretly the angel had two children with a human, within his offspring's hearts he hid each shard.

It is now many years later and Angelo's kids have entered their teen years, at this time they are starting to notice strange new abilities. The girl, with the Light half, has developed the power to heal others, while the boy has control of the shadows. It doesn't stop there, now that their powers have blossomed both Angels and Demons are now tracking them down. Simply killing them and taking the shards won't work, the jewels would turn to dust. Instead each side must persuade the children to willing give up their piece in order to combine them again. With such power within themselves, the children will face their own struggle between what's right and the strong force of Greed. Either side could win in this struggle.
