Since coming back, Blue is almost like a husk of a human. Quiet and wistful, he spends the majority of his days trying to reacquaint himself with the moral world as well as come to terms with his new abilities. That's not to say he doesn't still have feelings and emotions - quite the contrary, Blue experiences them far stronger than he ever had before his death, it's almost as if his mind has amplified them in an attempt to make him feel something, anything.
Almost lackadasical seeming, Blue's mind often tends to wander other plains, never quite in the present. He tries his hardest to keep himself grounded, and employs the help of his few friends to bring him back if he seems to be drifting too far, but the simple fact of the matter is that he should not be here. Something isn't right and until that is sorted (if it even can be), Blue's soul will continue to alternate between the spirit and mortal realm as it sees fit, drifting in and out.
Deep down, Blue is an incredibly lovely person. He cares so deeply for everyone and hates to do anything he believes will hurt people. His life up until this point has simply lacked purpose, and Blue hopes that by joining this team it will provide him with that nudge he needs to bring him back to life.

Possession → The power to inhabit the body of a living being. Blue is able to possess living beings for certain amounts of time, during this he can entirely control them. These possessions are usually short lived and incredibly taxing on the young man's health.
Intangibility → The ability to pass through physical matter. When in his 'ghost form', Blue is capable of moving through objects as if they're nothing. This include walls, doors and any other object that would otherwise bar his way - because of this, it's easy for Blue to break into just about anywhere.
Self-Sustenance → Again, only possible in his 'ghost form', Blue can reduce or remove the need for bodily necessities, since he is essentially dead and therefore need not care about eating, sleeping or anything of the sort.

It wasn't until he turned twelve that Blue's life became anything out of the ordinary. One night, as his family slept, a fire erupted. Caused by what would later be realised as a lit candle having fallen from its place onto the soft carpet of their hallway. His parents had forgetting to blow it out before they went to bed.
While the fire departments reaction time was quick, it wasn't fast enough to stop Blue from succumbing to smoke inhalation. They may have gotten him out in time so that he didn't burn alive, but when they had, it was already too late. Blue was unconscious and immediately rushed to the hospital where he was kept under the watchful eye of doctors until it happened. His heart stopped. The smoke had badly burnt his respiratory system and caused all manner of complications. Even if he had survived it, he would have been left with severe respiratory issues for the rest of his life.
He was pronounced dead at 2:30 am, only a few months after his twelfth birthday. What he did not know was that his mother had met the same fate and his father now suffered third degree burns. Once his body had been moved to the morgue he was left alone, laid under a sheet on a cold morticians table.
Then, as if by magic, an hour later - Blue awoke. Gasping for air and trembling dreadfully, he was shaken and his hand was badly burnt but the boy was alive. Rushing in, doctors proclaimed that it wasn't humanly possible, sure people died for a few minutes and came back, but no one had been pronounced dead for hours and still come back. Blue was only twelve and already a freak of nature.
Being told that he had lost his mother, Blue was distraught and begged to see his father who was still in a hospital bed of his own, being treated for the burns that covered half of his body; he had gotten them as he attempted to drag his unconscious wife from the burning building. However, when Blue came face-to-face with a man he didn't even recognise as his father anymore, covered in bandages and missing chunks of hair, he screamed in terror. His father looked like something out of a nightmare.
It took Blue years of therapy and countless hospital visits to deal with the trauma of that night. Not only this, but the fact that the doctors wanted to keep a constant eye on him since no one had ever risen from the dead as Blue had. He and his father managed to live a somewhat okay life for a few months, despite them both needing to frequent the hospital for their respective injuries. Blue's hand never healed properly and to this day is still a fleshy, pink reminder of the worst day of his life - the day that should've been his last.
Blue's abilities only came to light almost half a year later when he was playing hide and seek with some of his cousins. It was Blue's turn to hide and he ran to the only place he could think of, his closet. Of course, that was also one of the first places his cousins looked, and as Blue held in breath and braced for being discovered, his cousins swung open the door, expectant grins on their faces. Only, Blue wasn't there. At least, they couldn't see him - the boy had turned himself invisible. Releasing his breath, he calls out to them in an attempt to get them to notice him, confused as to why they weren't acknowledging him. That was when he reappeared.
Screaming, his cousins ran to their parents, babbling about Blue appearing out of nowhere. He was a monster, it wasn't possible. That was when they took to calling him a 'zombie' and 'ghostboy'. Scared and confused, during his next visit to the doctors, Blue mentioned what had happened. Concerned for Blue's mental health, the doctor set him up more frequent visits with a therapist but to make the younger boy feel better, also performed some tests.
Getting Blue to do exactly what he had with his cousins, the young boy proceeded to try and hide, holding his breath. For a minute, nothing happened and then suddenly, Blue was gone. Exhaling, he came back again, but when the doctor checked his heartbeat, they found nothing. His heart had stopped beating. Blue would later come to realise this was because he was in his 'ghost form'.
Of course Blue was immediately sent off to god knows where, being acquired by an incredibly secret organisation who dealt with 'these kinds of things' - his father attempted to stop them but it seemed as if he had no say at all and the boy was gone. He wouldn't see his father for years after that.
This ominous organisation would turn out to be a subdivision of the CPD, working in collaboration with Baxter Labs' top scientists. They had heard about Blue after the fire; the boy who survived death. After that, they had been keeping a close eye on him to see if anything like these invisibility powers would surface. Here, they trained Blue to be able to control it, as well as brought to light a multitude of other abilities he never knew that he had. Blue lived his life within the same four walls of this lab until he turned eighteen, when they were legally not allowed to keep him from leaving any longer. But by this point, Blue had no other life and no idea where to go - his father could have moved anywhere at this point.
When the opportunity arose to join a new task force people were calling the 'Young Avengers', Blue took it up simply because he had nothing better to do. Unused to associating with those his own age, Blue can sometimes come off as a little peculiar but that doesn't matter since he keeps to himself most of the time anyway. The one condition was that they find his father for him, and after they had, Blue visited him frequently although not once did he ever make contact. Instead, he looks after the raging man from a distance, making sure that no more harm can come to him.
