Entitled ✦ Opinionated ✧ Fickled ✦ Reckless ✧ Cocky
Danny Boy is a product of his environment. He doesn't use it as an excuse (
He's a flirtatious, funloving, adventurous guy who isn't above sweeping his friends or girlfriend of the month off on a trip across the globe just to show them a place they never thought they'd be able to say they've been. He's selfless to those he cares about. Sure, with him being a Rand, he's rarely been in a school where he would be around those who need her to pay for things for them but, that's not how all of his friends back home are. He's willing to throw down hundreds of dollars in order to help those he sees as friends and you never have to worry about repaying him because trust him. Danny Jr. here, sure as hell doesn't need it. He thinks he can handle losing $20 for a bar tab or $400 on a bet. Because you see when he wants to be he can be the greatest friend one could ever want. He can be supportive, boosting up your confidence and making you feel like the best, okay second best thing on Earth. And yes he can be very loyal and honest. And once you have his trust, you have it for life. He is his father's son, after all. So, he has been taught to see the good within people even they can't see it themselves. To 'love everyone equally and to have an open mind about the world around you.' Chessy, but it continues to lead him through life as one of his philosophies. With this way of thinking, he also likes to believe that people are better than they are sometimes. That even if they seem like an asshole that under all of that is a good person most times. That no one's born evil. It's one of their jobs, as heroes to see the beauty in everyday things and in the Rands' eyes, there's beauty in everyone sometimes you just gotta dig a little deeper down to find it and push them a little harder to make them a diamond. Seeing the world through rose-colored glasses to an extent. Where all the red flags just look like flags. Now, he isn't blinded by these glasses he does know that there are bad people in the world but, she isn't one just to assume that someone is just going to be out to hurt her.
But, don't for a second think that makes him weak. He comes off as this egotistical frat boy, but he, just like his father knows what its time to turn it off. He knows what its time for him to bring out his well hidden clever and conniving side. He'll never admit he's wrong or that he needs help because that shows weaknesses something he will never show outright, not after being through the hell that is middle school. Does that make him stubborn? Probably but he doesn't really care. He doesn't really care about a lot of things outside of; his powers, his body, his friends, family, traveling, and his trust fund. And, well getting back at those who he feels has wronged him and screwed him over, made him feel stupid for any reason. If they think he's going to let that slide, they have another thing coming and he'll never have to lay a hand on them to show them just who the fuck they're messing with.

Bilingual ✦ Martial Arts ✧ Swordsman ✦ Acrobat ✧ Meditation
Just like his father, Danny Jr. gets his code name from his most known power, the Iron Fist, which by channeling his chi and focusing it into his hand and wrist, Danny can make his fist super-humanly powerful and resistant to injury and pain. With his fist in this state, Danny can exert superhuman strength and force with which he can smash through steel doors, break out of restraints, and punch his opponents with tremendous concussive force without sustaining an injury to himself even when it comes to bullets and blades. However, this is an ability he has not perfected whatsoever. Even from his old man, it took him years of training and meditation to be able to build up meaning he can't just access it effortlessly whenever he wants. But, when he does it can drain him of his chi for hours before allowing him to use it again. Aside from the most obvious, there are others that go along with it in order to make the Iron Fist possible. Such as; chi manipulation, a power that allows Danny Boy to harness his chi to augment his physical and mental capabilities. Through the use of his chi, Danny is capable of generating an "internal force" that removes the need for charging momentum like other heroes' powers. Along with this, he has the ability to send those around him flying even when he punching someone else with the Iron Fist. Thanks to his chi blast his father's told him time and time again that with enough effort and motivation, Junior's chi could also send objects and people flying back.
Along with his training, he has Superhuman agility, which by channeling his chi allows him to perform athletic feats that should be impossible for a human, such as effortlessly flipping over a taxi cab which has also helped him become what he calls, the best acrobat alive. He's extremely agile and has great skill in parkour (which he loves to show off) and free-running, which are combined with his chi to give him the ability to perform stunts that should be impossible for just some frat guy from the Upper East Side of Manhattan. However, his favorite ability to show off other than the fist is his enhanced reflexes. He swears they're some of the best on the team even though he knows that not... exactly the truth. But, because of how much his parents made him learn to control his chi. It has helped enhance his focus and perception. This allows him to react to danger in mid-combat at a superhuman rate. He can react and easily dodge a bullet or anything coming towards him, as well as effortlessly, one-handedly block the attacks from one of the best fighters in the world, without looking.
But, he likes to believe he's a fantastic fighter even without his powers. Even before realizing he had these abilities. His parents made him and his siblings take up a fighting style in order to keep them connected to their father. But, none tried harder than the youngest, a 5 foot nothing, little Daniel Rand Jr. He made his parents put him through the toughest training in order to be the best out of the three kids. His martial arts prowess, combined with his mystical power of the Iron Fist, allows him to overpower most of his enemies flawlessly. With his training from his mother also helping him have proficiency with multiple weapons, swords, his personal favorite, and nun-chucks. Even without the Iron Fist, the young man has shown he is able to take down well-trained guards/fighters and even his own older brother with sheer skill and dexterity. Outside of fighting, he does have other skills such as the fact that he's [i]trilingual[i], speaking English, Japanese, and Mandarin Chinese. Which, again, he loves to show off whenever given the chance.

His mother wanted his too but, his father was the soft one. The one who wanted to make up for the father he lost when he was a kid. To be the dad that they would go on and on about when they grew up and had children of their own. Which lead to Junior being the way he is, today. Growing up, he was a private school brat, getting the best education along with the best beatdowns by bullies daily. Something he felt like he had to take for the longest seeing that growing up he was skinny and very, very short. That didn't change until he was around the age of fourteen when he finally found out about that he has his dad's powers after finally being able to punch a guy messing with him halfway across the hallway.
While he was suspended for a week, his parents were shocked at the idea that their youngest, was the one to inherit the fist. When for the longest time they believed none of their children had the ability to even come close to being able to do the Iron Fist. And with their smallest and easiest to distract being the one only surprised them more. From then on, Danny and his parents trained him on how to control and manipulate his chi in order to help him be able to control his power of the Iron Fist. It took him years to master his chi in the way his father did, even now he isn't a master at it, meaning he's not a master of the Iron Fist either. Only being more apparent when he left for college, dropping his training almost entirely in order to enjoy his three years from the age of seventeen to twenty with him graduating early in order to be able to just live life as a billionaire's son with all the money and time in the world. Something that didn't really 'fly' with his parents once they discovered just how much he had forgotten his training. With his father's exact words being; 'He was gifted with this power to help the world but, instead of doing something with it. He was wiping his ass with it. Spitting in the face of his father and those who trained him in K'un-Lun all those years ago and that if he didn't deserve his gift, he didn't deserve a dime.' With his mother, and soon his father threatening to cut him off entirely if he didn't do something with his life. It struck a nerve within Danny Jr. Which leads us to where we are now and where he has been for two years. Training to be back to where he was in high school, being at the peak of his ability. Which was what he believed was all it would take in order to prove his parents wrong, but they wanted him to do more. To learn to be apart of a team to show that fame and life wasn't just about him. That unless you learn how to 'play nice with others' he will never learn how to completely and utterly be the hero he desires to be.
