Freya is a person who doesn't care much of what people really think of her. She's somewhat of a spitfire, wild, free and unbelievably quick witted and playfully sarcastic. She's the one who can bring the tension in a room down a few notches with her one-liners and made up swears. Often hitting people or situations with out of nowhere remarks that would either make you want to laugh or think she's nuts. Much like her father, Freya has proved to be a good liar, a persuasive talker and a con artist, on occasions. This makes her perfect for a distraction or getting strangers to trust her. Freya wont lie to her friends though, loyalty is something she doesn't mess with and even though she might take all their money in poker, she'd never lie to them. At least not about something serious or big.
Some may find her lovable and others intense. It's almost like a two way street with her. Either you like her or you don't or she grows on you. Unbeknownst to others, Freya is someone who keeps her feelings under lock and key. Letting others perceive her as someone who wears her heart on her sleeve or just someone who doesn't give a fuck but sometimes things can still get to her. Only having a few people out there that have actually seen her cry or lash out, which is very uncommon since Freya is usually this playful and quirky young woman. Something having to be pretty wrong for her to be genuinely upset or cry in front of others.
There is no doubt that Freya is an intelligent individual. She may not be on her fathers level of genius but Frey is a fast learner and doesn't mind getting her hands dirty just to figure out how something works. That my friends is part of the curiosity in her that has led Freya into trouble more than a few times. Her resourcefulness on the other hand, prove to be a big help in those situations. While Freya sees herself to be more of a lover instead of a fighter she is more than willing to fight for her friends and if pushed enough you will feel her wrath.

The force is strong with this one, as Freya would say but all jokes aside, her illusion magic is indeed powerful. Within the palm of her hands Frey is able to create from the simplest illusions to the more extravagant and possibly terrifying. From a beautiful butterfly that may look so real you would want to catch it only to find that it goes right through your hands. To warping your whole surrounding, causing one to see, hear, touch, smell and taste things which do not actually exist or cause one to perceive things differently from what they truly are. On the other hand, the bigger the illusion and the more detailed it is, more strain is put on her since she hasn't fully mastered this ability, often getting headaches or nosebleeds when she tries too hard. In asgardian eyes or just in any magical beings eyes she is still a child with extraordinary potential to even surpass her father in this department.
Being a demi-god has it's perks, although she is half human Freya inherited her parents Asgardian physiology making her strength, self-healing, stamina, speed and longevity increased far surpassing a mortal (not to mention a neat little immunity to cold). She can take on a regular Asgardian hand to hand but Freya isn't the strongest of their species. Her speed is just a tad bit above an Olympic athlete (like she uses it much anyway) while her stamina can withstand just below 24 hours of continuous strain. Because of her highly advanced metabolism Freya is able to recover with superhuman speed and efficiency. Being of asgardian decent, Frey was also taught how to fight with and without a weapon, though, Loki left her his sword, Laevateinn (who she keeps hidden under her bed) but prefers to use throwing knives because of their stealthy efficiency.
Now Freya can tell you right off the bat that she's almost shit at shape-shifting but she would rather have one find out for themselves. The demi-god can pull off a spider or raven but struggles with anything above a cat. Even the cat she manages to shape-shift into has two tails because she just can't seem to get it right. Don't even ask her to shape-shift into a human because she'll look at you as if you were crazy. She doesn't want to end up shape-shift into one of those the hills have eyes people.

Freya is the love child of Loki, adopted son of Odin and female human/asgardian, Claire Price, a french artist. Freya grew up on earth and stayed with her mother but Loki was no stranger. There was no doubt that Loki, despite all he's done, was capable of love. He loves Claire and Freya with all he is, dare he say even more than his mother, Frigga but he keeps his distance. He believes himself to be a bad influence but has tried being somewhat of a decent father. Claire would have to say that the most her lover has stayed on this earth at a time was for the first two years of Freya's birth. After that Loki continued to run, having escaped Asgard as one of his fathers prisoners before even having a family. In fact, that's how he first met Claire, when he had laid low in Midgard because of Asgardian soldiers finally catching up to him.
When Loki did visit earth, it was to briefly visit his lover and daughter and within those visits, Freya was given lessons after her more magical abilities came to surface. After reappearing two years later and disappearing again once Freya was five, Thor caught wind of Loki's alleged lover and daughter. He visited them twice, the first to ask if Clarice knew where Loki was and she didn't but even if she did she still wouldn't have told him. Now Thor still loved his brother, although he lost all hope of him redeeming himself but he also had to obey his father. The second visit was to invite them to live in America, New York to be exact, closer to where the avengers and S.H.E.I.L.D were, just in case they needed assistance. While Claire accepted after some time because of her close to poor living situation, she did it more for the safety of Freya, her fathers proudest accomplishment in life.
As she got older, around seven is when Thor first brought Freya to Asgard unbeknownst to Odin of her true lineage while Thor claimed her as his own. He thought it to be the safest way to train her because of her abilities. There was also no doubt that Odin could sense the asgardian and human in the girl so he tolerated her presence. Thor was the one who began training her in warrior combat, quickly taking notice how Freya picked up a sword and wield it similarly to her father. In the end, Freya was brought back to earth and there she trained on her own, sometimes gaining the assistance of Loki whenever he could stop by.
Naturally, Freya excelled in school but her smart mouth and inability to stop herself from saying the first thing that popped into her head got her into trouble a lot. Then she began using her illusion magic to mess with bullies and teachers that gave her a hard time. Just busting some chops, it was harmless. Freya soon began to find school boring as she was too smart for them, inheriting somewhat of her fathers genius brain. She wanted to drop out but stayed and graduated top of her class for her mother. S.H.E.I.L.D tried recruiting her after but Freya denied. She wasn't ready to mess with the big leagues nor did she really want a controlled life. Though, she stuck with a little ragtag group of super powered individuals who she grew fond of, secretly spreading the young avengers title anonymously around because she thought it'd be funny. For the most part she found it amusing and it was for a little while until the people made it stick and the group owned up to it.
