Dressing Style?

Ackley likes to dress in simple clothing, ranging from grey to just about anything in black. His taste is rather minimal for a rich boy, and he doesn’t care too much for how he is presented. Although saying that, whatever he does wear is not faltered in quality and is usually the best that his money can buy, as like many of his class in society. A little habit of his when concerning his outfit is to ensure the whole attire is colour coordinated, and must have a hat! As he has a thing for hats that is a little weird at times, and mainly his head gets cold.

Weight/Height?

6 stone, 4ft, 9in

Character Traits?

Likes?

Ackley likes to keep things on a rather dull, and ever more serious level. He’s not one for fun and games per say, mainly since his parents often deprived him of those pleasures growing up. A personal delight for him is to read romance novels, which he keeps under his bed, but that’s a secret! As well as that he enjoys going for walks and tabling in photography.

Dislikes?

Ackley doesn’t like noise, at least the really irritating sort, and occasionally dislikes muttering and whining, and other useless commotion. He doesn’t like it when things go wrong, or he’s puzzled about what to do in certain situations, or even generally being clueless at any time. A little annoyance of his is when people delve into his personal belongings without his permission, and ask too many questions about his life, as he finds it rude and boring.

Habits?

Ackley’s only habit is never going out in public without a hat.

Personality?

At first Ackley can seem distant and rather soulless, however this quickly disappears while he get’s to know people and their ways. Like his parents, he tends to just keep things formal and not mix business with pleasure, though while with people who are close to him, Ackley tends to be rather charming and delightful, and acts like a regular little boy. He tends to be a person who takes a little time to warm to others, though sometimes he just accepts people, despite his occasional down expression, he does actually have a sweet smile and ever lively laugh.

- - -

History?

Ackley was born on 13th December in London, Britain. He was the only child, and son, to Kai and Madeleine Bee.

From the start of his life things were never straightforward. Ackley was born prematurely by three months, which causes some complications and health issues with him in later life. As a child he turned very sickly and often spent days laying in bed, or having to venture into a hospital to get medical treatment. However, despite all this it wasn’t really understood why he became so ill, though many assumed it was due to his early birth, as neither parent was effected nor did any of the family have anything of the sort. In a way it was a mystery that was never truly solved, and as result it is unsure of how well Ackley would progress in life. Yet despite it all his parents were adamant he’d take over the family business, and make it even more of a success.

As time passed soon came the time to thrust their son into their way of life. Though for a while many worried that he wasn’t up to doing any given task and in result was often left to be cared by his grandmother, who spent many days reading him stories in their grand library at home, while his parents traveled the world to keep up with their businesses.

After managing primary and secondary school, his parents realized their son wasn’t as feeble as everyone assumed, and by his own request, Ackley was sent to Masuta Academy to train in order to take over his families business in due time.

Birthplace/ Ethnicity?

London/ White/ British

- - -

Other?

Down his stomach he has a scar from previous operations he’d gone through as a child,
and therefore hates changing in front of anyone.

Hopes to become a renown writer at some point in his life.

Secretly, Ackley really likes rap music. Surprisingly.

Hold it…Hold it…Keep goiiiiiing…Now release.

Luthais breathed heavily as he sighed, having been up for a few hours now. Weather it was down to excitement, or nerves, he wasn’t sure why his body tingled a little, his heart beating quickly, and of course as to why his palms were a little sweaty. But quite frankly, when he got down to it, Luthais didn’t care that much. As usual he’d gotten little sleep, yet was still expected to perform at full function and carry on as if everything was perfect.

For a few moments he quietly gazed at his tired persona evident in the mirror, and noticed how knackered he truly looked. Despite all his attempts to hide his ever more noticeable black eyes it all felt rather pointless, although Luthais never gave up on hope. His mother often nagged him before he left the house if anything was out of place, as being a student at Masuta Academy was an important thing.

“Ah, well. Can’t do much else, though don’t suppose I look too bad.” He muttered quietly.

Quickly he fluffed his hair a little, it’s dull grey tangles flopping down against his shoulders. Often, at times, his mother would suggest to tie it up somewhat, though Luthais was determined to seem more manly, and not so much flimsy. After all, he wasn’t the most bulkiest of guys, nor held much else.

Glancing around his eyes caught note of the time, remembering at that moment that classes began at eight o’clock, and also realizing it was just leaving seven o’clock. Dammit. Though being up early, that didn’t mean he enjoyed it, nor wished to spend most of his time at the Academy. Alas, however, today was his first day back at Masuta Academy and showing up late was just out the question, despite everything.

“Right, that’s me off! Bye!” He called while stumbling out his room, trying to be quick and elegant, but evidently loosing to his speed. Thankfully he caught himself and managed not to fall, while heading down the hall and dashing out the front door. The boy had been up that early that he’d been ready to leave for almost four hours in advance, as when he did eventually leave some of his anxiety slightly lifted from his shoulders, and Luthais actually got a little excited.

Before, his mother reminded him to grab his backpack, or else he would’ve been halfway down the street before noticing. And with that little problem taken care of, Luthais mentally prepared himself for the day ahead. He knew already he would have to be someone’s butler, and could only hope that individual was nice. As he himself hadn’t really ever been a butler, or anyone of that sort. It was sure to be, if anything, an interesting day…

You are kind, you are nice, and you are caring. Remember that!

Dail mentally nagged himself to no end, trying to remember his manners and above all else, remembering to just be nice. His mind often done the talking, and usually left himself to deal with the consequences later on. But now was the time to get a grip on all these nasty habits, and seal them away, forever.

Smile. You remember what that is, right? Just don’t bear the fangs.

He stared adoringly at himself in the mirror, eyeing up his entire attire before pulling away and pacing through his room in a rather panicked manner. Though it wasn’t the whole first day scenario that got to him, it was the fact that he lacked a degree of self control when it came to being…nice. In a way he felt sorry for whoever would take him as their butler, not that he was deliberately hard to handle, but rather he was just stubborn, and didn’t take kindly to orders, to an extent.

Deep breaths. Count to ten. Walk it off.

Ah, if only those self-help methods actually worked. Dail put quite a few calming down exercises to the test, and won. But that was the problem. He wasn’t suppose to! Shaking his head he quickly ignored all thoughts of doubt that lingered within him, and instead thought of more happier occasions.

In amongst getting everything ready he occasionally patted down his pale shaded hair, trying to keep it neat, though loose. If that could ever make sense. At times he’d sneak back to the mirror and try to perfect expressions, mainly smiling and laughing. After all, he wanted to seem normal.

“Alright, it’s time,” Dail huffed with slight insecurity. “No time like the present.”

He picked up his backpack and threw it over his shoulder, gripping it tightly with one hand, while resting the other in one of his pockets. After ensuring all was not forgotten, and that he was prepared for any given scenario, the boy left his room confidently and headed for the door, briefly in-between saying his goodbyes to his grandfather, before eventually leaving the house entirely and making his way to Masuta Academy…

“Yes, mother.” Ackley sighed, repeating the same line over and over.

“Now, you promise to take it easy and not overexcite yourself?” His mother asked, showing an overly concerned nature that was surely growing annoying to the boy. However, he was use to it. Very.

“Again, yes mother.”

“If you need help you’ll ask for it, won’t you?”

“Uh-huh.”

“Call us if it gets too much?”

“Of course.”

“And--”

“Mother, enough. I’m a big boy and can take care of myself.” He silenced the woman swiftly, patting her shoulder softly before escaping her grasp once more. “I must go now.”

It was nearing quarter past seven, and Ackley knew his mother would hold him there for another week if she could get away with it. But fortunately he had grown use to this and often managed to escape, or else he feared he may not have a life, dare say if his mother got her way.

“Bye mother, and say my goodbyes to father.” Unfortunately his father was away on business, and even more unfortunate that his mother was not. Pulling his dark toned hat down tightly against his skull the boy made sure to button up his matching coat, that was too dark and rather lifeless. Combined with his pale skin complexion he was almost represented as a mini grim reaper, to others amusement.

“Goodbye.” Finally, he was leaving.

The chauffer came and escorted the boy to their family car, which would be used to drive him to Masuta Academy, despite living rather close by. Hopping inside he got comfortable, quickly sorting himself out and ensuring he had everything. Although it was hard for him not to forget anything as his mother constantly appeared with things for the boy to take with him. Like now, as he dauntingly stared at the woman running up to the to car with books in hand. Oh no…

“Honey, you forgot these?” She sighed while opening the door widely, before ramming the books into his backpack. “You know you can’t sleep without a good story, silly. And I know how you adore your romance ones.”

Ackley blushed a little before closing the door, making sure his mother was not in his personal space anymore. After that he faked a smile and looked to the driver.

“Drive! Quickly now!” He snapped, still bearing an awkward smile. The car sped off immediately as it headed for Masuta Academy…

The entrance was rather busy when Luthais arrived promptly at the Academy, perhaps too busy for his liking. He wasn’t the type who craved the attention of crowds, and as result he often dreaded any form of first days at any place. But alas, he could not waste time complaining and simply got on with it.

He knew that there was an assembly for all new students and first years, however he had already suffered his, and thankfully did not need a repeat of the event. It was nothing dreadful, he just got bored.

Occasionally he’d wave and wish pleasant greetings on a few individuals as he traveled down through the halls, only recognizing a few students from the previous year. As he, himself, wasn’t overly popular though not someone you’d easily forget. Although, the only thing on his mind was the fact he’d become someone’s butler, though not just anyone’s. He’d been lucky to avoid being a butler last year, though expected this time things would change.

Then again, the thought of being a butler wasn’t so bad, he just wanted someone who’d treat him equally, and not of the lower class from which he was born from. And yet, if that did ever happen, Luthais wasn’t sure how he’d react to being treated so badly.

Having nothing better to do he lingered around the Auditorium, taking the chance to see the new faces that would be hovering around the Academy, and of who would be in his classes, if any.

Daileass Taveon
--

Daileass Taveon, don’t you dare frown!

Ah, he could hear his grandfather’s voice nagging him already, and he’d only just reached the entrance of the Academy. Then again, he needed all the advice he could get. His face was struggling to maintain a simple smiley expression, as it so desperately wanted to retreat back into it’s usual frowny one. Despite knowing he shouldn’t.

Smile, make it seem natural. Yes, thaaaat’s it! Nod and smile, keep walking!

He’d overheard the mentioning of an assembly and assumed that was his first point of matter, after noticing a few other students going along that way in which the Auditorium lay. Taking that, he obediently followed the students, though kept a slight distance, and made his way to the Auditorium.

I wonder who’ll be my master, or mistress…

Of course that was something that lay heavily on his mind, the knowing of who his master, or even mistress would be, and more importantly what were they like? It was going to be tuff to obey and take orders, especially if the individual was a slave driver. Oh, hell no! Dail wouldn’t accept that.

As he quietly crept into the Auditorium Dail made no effort in socializing, and generally kept himself to himself. Then again the place was only just starting to fill up, there were more expect to come. And if anything his nerves were playing havoc with him, and he just needed a few minutes of peace and quiet.

Now, relax…

The car pulled over and slowly came to a halt outside of the Masuta Academy, the chauffer seeing to the younger master’s door and opening it politely, before the young boy stepped out at his own pace.

“Oh dear, it’s busy.” Ackley muttered to himself.

Crowds didn’t bother him too much, it was the fact he was lacking in height so to say, and therefore no one would spot him easily. In turn, he wouldn’t be able to find anyone either, and it was in times like this that his mother was useful. She’d never let anyone step in on the boy. Oh dear…

“I will ensure your belongings are securely delivered to your room, young master,” The chauffer said softly over the boy’s shoulder. “Goodbye, and pleasant thoughts be with you.”

The man left and returned to the car swiftly, before driving off and doing as he had explained. As even though Ackley lived close by he was adamant to have freedom and live here at the Academy, especially as his parents would be gone for a long period of time, and that his loyal grandmother could use a little holiday on her own. Which in turn left the boy to his own devices, despite having never coped on his own without family. This would indeed be quite the challenge for him.

“Well, better get started.” He huffed and took a deep breath to calm his thoughts.

After spending a few minutes thinking he remembered that he would need to find a butler, or even a maid to help him through the time spent at the Academy. Though that would be another challenge all on it’s own. With a deep sigh he swung his backpack over his shoulders before setting off into the Academy, while trying not to trip anyone up. Eh, well…

While moping round the halls he overheard a few students muttering about an assembly of some sort, for new students amongst others, and thought this would be ideal for him to investigate. He was, after all, new to the Academy and knew very little of where to go, and who to know. With this he set off to the Auditorium with high hopes of finding someone like himself; clueless, but rich. Given the situation.

It hadn’t took long for him to find the Auditorium, and with nervous breaths he cautiously entered before seating himself down somewhere and clutching his backpack tightly…

Luthais watched as the new girl came and feel, tragic. If a first wasn’t bad enough then surely this was ten times worse on all levels; the embarrassing, cringing emotion that surely no doubt filled up inside the girl. How awful. Then again, no one was helping her. Despite having all the money in they world not one of the rich brats would lend a hand to a fellow wealthy individual, which really did some up quite a few of the students in this Academy. Some were selfish, to a great extent.

“Poor girl,” Luthais sighed as he stood against the wall, and only just noticing he, himself wasn’t helping either. Which made him wonder as to what butler he would be like. “Pity.”

It was then at another student caught his eye, a boy who seemed to lack self control. Ouch. Whoever that gut was, well, he would certainly provide some amusing moments, to say the least. But then, what was he doing now? Oh, trying to calm down by looks of it. If only. Taking that as an invite Luthais causally strolled over to the unstable lad and lay a hand on his chair, just touching the edge of his shoulder.

“You know, that sort of language won’t be tolerated at this Academy,” Luthais muttered quietly to the boy, as if he didn’t already know. “Best not let teachers hear you, you know?” He laughed before removing his hand. “Obviously your new here, unlike me. But you know, your quite funny. Just saying.”

Daileass Taveon

Dail tried to ignore the echoing of laughter that quickly filled the room, but alas curiosity won over his frail mind and quickly he found himself looking for the sort of amusement. And fortunately it was rather obvious, the sit of the girl on the floor was indication enough and the boy bared a smile, at least he did until his conscience kicked in. It took him a moment to realize how wrong it was, and that no one offered a hand to help. Perhaps, just maybe, this was his chance! An opportunity to be nice, for once.

Do it. Do it. Do it.

“E-Excuse me!” Dail yelled aloud, stumbling off his seat. Unfortunately gathering all the eyes of students in the room, which made the boy feel somewhat nervous. “L-Let me help!”

Dail made his way over to the girl on the floor, stilling feeling a bit embarrassed at the whole thing. Placing both hands on either of her arms he pulled the damsel onto her feet, with great effort. He wasn’t sure how she’d react, or even if she’d be pleased of grateful. But at least he could feel good about himself, that was, if anything, the main point of helping.

“Silly girl, that’s no way to enter a room,” Dail mumbled to the girl, unsure if she were even listening. Despite it, he continued, “No thanks required. Just don’t fall again.”

Ackley watched the whole event unfold, and made sure to keep himself well out of it. Though indeed he felt somewhat bad for the girl, it was her own fault and he didn’t want any attention brought onto himself. So for that matter he kept still in his seat, clutching his backpack as he did.

“Oh dear, this day should go… well.” He sighed.

Turning his gaze away from the boy Luthais casually glanced around as new students began to flood the room, literally. He wasn’t one for crowds, though most of the mob seemed busy with the fallen girl. Thankfully, as that meant less hassle for him, should such a thing arose. However, in particular he noticed a small little boy, believing at first he was too young for this Academy. Though perhaps that meant he was a genius, or simply misplaced. The person in questioned seemed rather soft and gentle, which added to Luthais’s beliefs he were a child, though he was mistaken. By the looks of it he was rich and trying to seem older, much to Luthais’s amusement…

“Nonsense, it’s my job to help people. It‘s what butlers do, right?” Dail muttered in response to the girl as he sensed her slight embarrassment, though he himself felt none. Then again, he hadn’t given the situation that much though and only done what he believed to have been right, which for once, was actually right. “Your new here I take it, and rather rich by the looks of it.” It was always easy to tell the rich from the… rags, so to say. Not that you saw many poor folk falling around the place, compared to the wealth, such as now.

He noticed the other girl soon emerging from the crowd and briefly looked her over, assuming she too were new and of the same year as them. It seemed some nice people actually did exist in this Academy, and by the looks of this girl she was rich too, as well. “Pleased to meet you,” He said politely, before shifting his gaze back onto the original, pretty girl. “And you too, I am pleased to meet. I wouldn’t worry about all those people looking and laughing, as you’ll likely never speak to them anyway. Though in future watch where you step, alright?”

--

Ackley watched as students came and went, each keeping to their own and looking a little nervous, if not scared, a little. He, himself, was just getting over his rather agitated state while leaning back into his chair. For the most part no one seemed to bother him, then again maybe they didn’t notice him, sadly. Though occasionally a few did smile at him, but nothing more…

Once he heard a voice muttering form behind himself, Luthais promptly turned his gaze round and looked curiously as the lad below. “Fix yourself?” He questioned. “Really? Can’t see why someone like you would need fixing, I mean, your so weeeeell accustomed in the art to socializing,” Of course he was kidding, after witnessing the boys earlier outburst it was quite obvious as to what he meant. But then, of course, Luthais had other matters that needed attending. “Before I forget, you wouldn’t happen to know anyone in need of a butler? As sadly, my time has come to give in to these ways of the wealthy and offer my services. Not that I mind really, as it might be fun to have a master to chase around all day.”

Luthais’s eyes scouted around the room as he eyed up potential masters, though none seemed to stand out to him. As well as that, after seeing little mercy with the wealthy when it came to the damsel falling he really didn’t desire that kind of company. However, the short little boy caught his fancy, mostly as he seemed cute and… different. But that was just his personal thoughts.

--
Daileass Taveon
--

“Yes, I am a butler. One up for hire as it would seem, as I too am new here,” Dail replied to the girl obediently. “And thank you, I try to look my best, even if I am a mere butler. However, for one being as rich you don’t seem as… bad, so to say, like many others who are clearly, as you put it, jerks.” He bowed a little before regaining his balance and eyeing up the boy who appeared not too long after. At first the lad seemed odd, mainly as he gave the girl a pear, which was something he had not seen before, or really ever. It was quite… unusual. The whole thing made Dail snigger a little.

“Boy, if you desire the girls affection then surely chocolates are more appropriate, along with flowers as well, if I am correct,” He muttered while adjusting his glasses a little. It was clear that this boy liked this girl, and in a way it was quite sweet, if not unexpected. “Aw, what a cute couple you two would make.”

Dail teased the two a little before remembering his manners, so to speak. “I never got your names, either of you,” He said quickly. “My name is Daileass Taveon, though Dail for short.”

--
Ackley Bee
--

Ackley saw some more students enter the room, though he himself was growing tired of waiting, and rather wished for things to get moving. After all, his family was always running around here and there, and no one ever waited. It was quite new to the boy, and added to his nerves unfortunately… He wondered when things would start, and what would happen. Where would he be going, who would he know. It was all a little daunting…

Glancing at the clock Dail noticed the time, and naturally, felt a little worried.

“I’m going to be late,” He sighed. “Why didn’t you wake me up earlier?”

Turning to his grandfather, who stood cheerfully, the old man simply smiled without a worry evident on his features. As usual, knowingly, his grandson was being too perfect. When staring up at the clock himself the man blinked, while sighing, and shaking his head in return.

“Your early yet, you have time. Why do you expect to be late unless you leave hours before?”

Dail just shrugged before leaving the room dully, and wandered off to his bedroom in search of his bag and things, which he knew he’d very well need today. Yet despite his grandfathers nagging, the boy would leave earlier anyway, as he always did. After a few moments Dail grabbed his bag and threw it over his shoulder snuggly, before adjusting his clothes a little and casually walking out the room and heading for the front door.

“Well, I’m going,” He muttered, while passing the door which his grandfather stood by. “See you later.”

With a huff, and rolling his eyes, Dail closed the door and left the house keenly. Crossing over the streets and turning corners the boy ventured to the Academy easily, as he lived close by, and casually entered the area. On the way he noticed very few people, meaning he was actually early, though actually preferred this and walked into the building confidently, smiling.

“I wonder what class I have first…” He mumbled to himself, before feeling a cold hand pressing against is shoulder suddenly, and softly turning him slightly. “Yes?” It was a woman, dressed oddly, who beckoned for his attention. Though not knowing who she were, the woman seemed keen to have him follow her, after stating,

“Would you be interesting in guiding a new student around? I’d be very grateful if you were.”

Dail thought briefly over the matter, before shrugging and agreeing. After all he was early, and could spare the time. After talking a little, the woman lead the boy up and into the infirmary before stopping at a room, and allowing him to enter, before following in herself.

“Hello there, I am Daileass Taveon. I heard you needed a guide?” He asked quietly while standing idly beside the nurse, and looking on to the girl who sat by a mirror brushing her hair. From what he could tell she was quite pretty, though looked rather ill. With her blonde hair and dark outfit she was rather fetching, though he could only wonder what was the matter with her, seeing as she were in the infirmary.

--
Ackley Bee
--

Ackley smiled, grudgingly.

It had been a rough night, and he hadn’t managed to settle into his new bed. Not to mention he couldn’t go complaining to his parents and despite his lack of sleep, and motivation, he had to still atend classes and pretend to be cheerful, when he clearly wasn’t. Nevertheless, while being up early, and fully awake, Ackley made an effort to get himself ready. Of course though, while not having his parents, the whole ordeal was something of a cultural shock. Espeically when it came to looking out his clothes, and dressing himself, and making sure that nothing was out of place; as his mother would have done on many mornings, which actually was a thing he found annoying, but not today…

He missed his mother, and father.

Get a grip! Your not a baby!

With a deep sigh, and displeasured pout, Ackley casually glanced at himself in the mirror. For hours now he had looked, gazed, and awed at himself yet never felt pleased enough. Perhaps this morning, today, would be one of those… days. Oh how he hated those days.

“I suppose I better head off,” He said, calmly. “It’s boring here, anyway.”

Walking over to the bed he lifelessly grabbed his bag, before slowly pulling it over his shoulders and comfortably adjusting it. Thankfully, the night before he readied his things, and now without hassle he headed out the door; locking it, and walking off down the stairs which were close by.

Perhaps some breakfast would be intertaining…

While venturing through the dorms and traveling down the stairs Ackley kept to himself, mainly as he noticed very few others about, and when thinking about it he wasn’t in the mood for light chatter. Though when exiting the building, and thinking more, Ackley decided he would hunt for his maid, or at least hope she were about in the dorms.

Thinking quietly to himself, Ackley carefully made his way into the girls dorms and looked around. Keeping a close eye on those around him he noticed only a few students were up and about; no doubt those who were eager to learn, and had plenty of sleep under their belts. Gits. When reaching round a corner he glanced around, and noticed a small group nearby who seemed friendly enough, and not to mention his maid was there too.

Ah, finally.

Walking over, and without much thought, Ackley said, “There you are. I’ve been looking for you.”

Rebecca stopped laughing when she saw her new master and used her southern accent as she spoke in English, again. "Oh! Ackley! Nice of you to drop by!" She stood up. "Eliab, this is Ackley Bee, my new master! Ackley, this is my brother, Eliab!"

Eliab cocked an eyebrow up with a suspicious stare. "Den nye master, ikke sant?" Your new master, huh? He held his hand out for a shake after a brief moment of glaring. "Pleasure to meet you, Ackley, assuming nothing bad happens to Rebecca."

Rebecca rolled her eyes and slapped Eliab, who maintained his position and still had his hand out. "Få tak, Eliab! Jeg er ikke det du trenger du bekymre deg!" Get a grip, Eliab! I'm not the one you need to worry about! She then looked at Ackley with a sigh. "Sorry about that, Ackley! My brother does tend to get a little overprotective of me."

Katherine smiled towards Rebecca, hopefully they'll become good friends. "Wow, Eliab seems like a very involved person." She said, thinking that she should try out for something. Though she has never done any sport related thing, she could at least try. "Ah, yeah that garden is very large. If he were to help out with it, he'd most likely only cover a small section in a years time."

As if on que, Eliab walked through the Girl's Dormitory door. Seeing as the two siblings were having a conversation, she kept quiet. The conversation between the two had nothing to do with her, so she looked around the room, not really paying any attention to what they were saying.

Blinking, Kat heard her name. She looked up from the ground to Eliab and smiled. "Good morning Eliab." When he complemented her on how she looked, she glanced down at her outfit, then back up at him. "Why thank you. It's just a little something I made right before coming here." She said, standing up from the couch. She fixed the layers of black tulle on her dress as she grabbed her bag.

A few minutes later a short boy show up. Ah, so his name is Ackely...And he's Rebecca's Master. With a yawn, still being a bit tired, the petite mistress headed towards the door. She was a bit hungry and wanted to eat before class began.

Ackley Bee

Ackley looked to the girl curiously, before his eyes drifted up towards her brother. It was clear, and rather evident, that there was a keen brotherly protection about the lad. Though, family or not, that really wasn’t Ackley’s problem, and he wasn’t all that bothered for the most part. Mostly since he couldn’t understand them really, except when English was used, thankfully.

When Eliab held out his hand this perked up the boys interest, and shortly after Ackley raised his own to shake the boys in return; or at least he would’ve, until witnessing the girl slapping her silbing, which caused the short boy to flinched a little and hesitate slightly. Was this normal behaviour for their family?

“If something bad happens to your sister, then logically it would be of her own doing,” He said, rather confidently, with evident calmness about himself. “As a master, I do not put my own in the face of danger, and therefore your sister will not be badly done by me, understand?”

Sighing, Ackley quickly shook the boys hand before crossing his arms against his chest tightly. “I apologize if I seem rude, I just haven’t had much sleep,” He muttered with a slight sulk. “No matter, your brother is just simply being… a brother, I understand that. Though however, may I just say, please, never treat me like your silbing… It is very unusual.” Well, at least to him it was. Having no silbings of his own, and rarely experience such playful ways, Ackley was understandably shook by this discovery.

“Anyway, with that over with, it is… interesting to meet you all,” The boy spoke, a little merrier, though still appering a little shattered. Turning his attention slightly, he eyed up the other girl, before shifitng his stare back to the silbings. “I hope I did not intrude on anything, but yes, I am Ackley Bee. Nice to meet you. Acutally, I was going to get some breakfast before I met you all."

Eliab nodded. Let's hope so. Meanwhile, Rebecca noticed Katherine walking out the door and grabbed her brothers' arm after Ackley said the magic word: breakfast.

"Well, what are we waiting for?"

The yankie butler laughed a little before a smile entered his face. "Food always gets her attention, Ackley! It's rather hilarious!"

The siblings caught up to Katherine before Rebecca let go and looked behind her and said to Ackley, "I don't know what I'm going to get, do you?"

While the master-maid pair talked to each other, Eliab figured he would talk to Katherine. "Did Rebecca tell you about the prank she pulled on me last night? Wouldn't be surprsied if she did. We're always trying to pull one on each other."

---

Agatha sat in the desk next to Anna-Beth. She knew something was bothering her mistress, yet could do nothing about it. She could try to get her attention, but the problem was, Anna-Beth was too dazed to even notice the Grecian maid's words. There was still time before class would start, which put Agatha at ease; she did not want Anna-Beth to miss something important to be said.

Katherine looked to her side as she exited the Girl's Dormitory, seeing Rebecca and Eliab appear next to her. "Prank? Oh, so that must of been what she was talking about last night...Something about cream, right?" She questioned, not knowing the whole story. "No, she didn't directly tell me. But when I got back to the dorm she was rambling on about pie or cream or something in the den. I just happen to overhear her." She shrugged, walking towards the Academy to get to the cafeteria.

"My two brothers use to pull pranks on me all the time, since I am the only girl in the family. Though it was never fun for me, the pranks were always mean, and they went to far with half of them." She rolled her eyes at the memory of the somewhat cruel pranks. One particular prank she recalled was just a few days before she left for London. Claudius, her older brother, switched her shampoo with green hair dye and put orange skin coloring in her bath when she wasn't looking. Kat had to dye her hair her natural hair color and the skin color didn't come out until 4 days after. Even now she had to re-dye every week to keep the color looking normal, at least until she can cut all of her bad hair out.

Listening to the nurse, and taking the hint to leave, Dail gave a simple nod before waiting outside in the hall for the girl, who seemed rather… well, he didn’t know. She was interesting that way, as he couldn’t tell how she felt towards him, or even if she was happy for his company. Though that was also a downside, as it made the boy feel slightly uncomfortable, and at a lose.

When the pair were out of the room, Dail sighed a little with thought. “Is there anywhere you want to visit first?” He asked, after sensing another awkward moment. “Are you hungry? There’s a good cafeteria here, and personally, I find this Academy’s gardens really amazing, and I’d recommend going there at some point?” Pausing, he looked to her for a response, and hoped it was a good one.

After a few moments the boy quickly realized something. “Sorry, I haven’t asked your name yet,” He sheepishly laughed a little, with a tad of embarrassment. “What is your name?”

Ackley blinked a little, before giving a nod and following the group.

When his maid turned to him, unsure of what to get, he simply shrugged. “I don’t really know either, but as long as there’s something good to eat, I’m getting it,” He laughed a little, quietly, before walking with the others and heading out of the dormitory. “In fact, I haven’t even seen the cafeteria yet. I mainly sorted out my dorm room yesterday, and didn’t really explore the Academy. So this should be fun,” The said boy cheerfully, with a smile.

“Anyway, let’s get going. I’m quite hungry myself,” Ackley muttered while outside, and casually eyeing up all the buildings nicely. “Not to mention class will start shortly, so we better move it. Sound good, Rebecca?”

Rebecca nodded with a smile as she kept walking. "Yep!"

Eliab laughed a little when he heard of what Katherine heard Rebecca say. "Yeah, it was a rather inventive one. She had this box-like device she made which I opened and out came the whip cream pie, right to my face. I am so going to get her for that! I don't know how, but I will!" When he heard about Katherine's brothers pulling pranks on her, the yankie butler cleared his throat and thought of something else to not make the conversation feel uncomfortable. "Well, getting away from that subject, where are you from? Finland? You have the accent."

---

Charles entered the Algebra 2 classroom and saw two empty desks. He sat down in one and saved the other for his butler. That was when he noticed Anna-Beth, in a daze. She did not seem like she thought pleasantly. The red-haired Scotsman figured he would try to cheer her up, like he did before.

"Are you alright, Anna? What's bothering you?"

Dail smiled a little when the girl spoke, mostly since he wasn’t sure if he was going to get anything out of her, though thankfully she at least mentioned her name. “Asami? That’s a nice name,” He said softly, while minding his manners. “It is nice to meet you, Asami.” It wasn’t often he was socializing with a girl, or people in general, though after meeting his mistress and some friends to follow, the butler was beginning to get use to it.

“You can just call me Dail, for short. It’s much easier, and faster to pronounce,” He gave a slight nod in response, while hoping the girl would ease a little bit. “Although, if I do something wrong, by all means call me Daileass. My mistress does, though I don’t often make it a habit to displease people,” The boy smiled a little more while looking to the girl, and after another moment of silence grew between them, the butler quickly thought of a way to overcome this. “I guess your not hungry, and you probably aren’t interested in seeing places since your only just new to this place. I understand, but maybe we can just walk about?”

He waited a moment, allowing her to think it over. “There’s a library here too, do you like to read?” He suggested with a hopeful gaze, though assumed the girl would probably retain her silence. “You know, if you don’t want to talk you can just say? I often do, though admittedly I do often say the wrong thing to people, but that’s just natural. Oh, by the way, I’m a butler. Until you get a maid, if you need anything I’ll help you, alright? I’m sure my mistress wouldn’t mind, she’s really nice.”

Ackley smiled contently, feeling a little merrier than before. “Oh, Rebecca, what class do you have first? I’m pretty sure we’re in most of the same ones, but it’d be handy to know,” He asked, while walking by the girls side. “Sorry if I seem nosey, I’m not in the habit of speaking with people like this. Though I hope we do get off to a good start since we’re master and maid.”

Rebecca brought out her schedule. "I think the first one is English. Let me check..." She looked at the ink on the paper. "Yep! it is! Schedule's right here!" She kept her smile as she showed Ackley the schedule. "I'm planning on trying out for gymnastics, whenever that is!"

Dail waited quietly, silently, as the girl seemed to think. From what it seemed the girl was a little put out by their meeting, and evidently she was similar to him, though years before when he was young. As a child, oddly, Dail avoided much socialization. Like Asami now, he recognized the feeling.

“I am from Scotland, you see,” He answered. “Though I talk a little more proper than most, and I don’t act as normal as the typical Scotsman. But, yeah, I come from Scotland. And, where are you from?” The boy grew slightly curious and though to return the question.

“You don’t seem like your from around here, though I apologize if I offended you. Also, if you don‘t mind me prying, but are you not feeling too well? I couldn‘t help but notice you were in the infirmary, and so I just assumed” He muttered, unsure of how she’d react. “I just mean, well, if your feeling tired or anything then just let me know. I could take you back there if that happens, or we can have a sit down, and you know. At the very least just lean on me, take my hand, whatever.”

Dail didn’t want to seem push, or patronizing, but he couldn’t help but worry if the girl was unwell. After all, she was in his care and that made him reasonable for her, at least. “Sorry if I seem in your face, I’m still getting use to interacting with people. I’m not usually this social,” He laughed a little towards her.

“Ah, so do I. We’ll have English together then,” He replied happily, feeling relieved to know someone familiar would be in his class, not to mention it would be his first class ever. “Gymnastics? That sounds very physical. If your trying out then that must mean your pretty good at it?” The boy questioned curiously, as he, himself, was not that active. “Personally, I don’t really get involved with sports. Though that’s just down to my poor health, sorta’. Well, I mean, I wasn’t allowed to do sports as a kid, but I’ve never really attempt now, as I’m older.”

Katherine nodded towards Eliab at his questioned. "Yes, I am from Finland. I was born, and I lived, in the capital city of Helsinki." She smiled, thinking about home. Darn it. She forgot to call her family and write them a letter yesterday. She'll have to do it later today. She doesn't want her family to worry. "What about yourself? What are you from?" She asked, as the group headed towards the cafeteria. She grew slightly more hungry than she was before she left the dormitory.

Maybe she should call Daileass and see if he wanted to join them. She thinks that eating with a lot of friends would be a really good way to get to know one another. Plus, it will be a lot of fun, having people you like sitting all around each other. You know the old saying. The more the merrier.

Ackley sighed. “I was pretty sick when I was younger, and had an overprotective mother. She was a little too controlling I suppose, and thought I was a bit too fragile for such things,” He explained briefly. “I’m quite lucky she allowed me to come here, never mind actually stay in a dorm. Although, what my mother doesn’t know, won’t hurt her, right? Not that I often disobey my mother, but overly affectionate parents can be a little too loving, actually.”

((Sugarplum, whenever we find time, we should catch up on Katherine and Eliab's conversation via PM. I'm surprised I was able to make this long post.))

Rebecca Othniel

Rebecca's smile grew wider. "That had to have stinked." She giggled a little. "Well, I can somewhat relate. Eliab did not want me to enroll here, at all. That conversation you and him had explains why. The thing is, I'm not helpless, and he knows it."

At the cafeteria, the maid let Ackley get in line first. "I'll proabably take longer to choose something to eat. Everything looks tempting to me

Agatha Amaranth and Eliab Othniel

Agatha nodded. "Sure, and I think Charles is trying to talk to you." She only got out what she thought she would need and handed the wallet back. After that, the Grecian girl went towards the cafeteria. As she paid for the two muffins and got out of line, Agatha bumped into Eliab.

"Oh! Sorry, sir! I guess worrying about my mistress got the best of me!"

Eliab had a friendly atmosphere about him. "It's okay! I wasn't exactly paying attention, either! I was kind of in a daze about a..."

Agatha interrupted by snapping her fingers and pointed with a smile. "Wait a minute! You're Charles' butler, aren't you?"

Eliab nodded. "Yes, I am! How did you know? Did he meet you?"

Agatha shook her head. "Actually, I saw that kiss between..."

Eliab interupted with, "Oh! You mean between Charles and Anna-Beth?"

Agatha nodded enthusiastically. "Yes! That!" She looked at the blueberry muffins. "I am actually running an errand for her, right now! She is my mistress!"

Eliab placed a finger on his chin. "Then you probably met Andrew, huh?"

Agatha's smile grew wider. "Mm-hmm! He is so..." She blushed when she realized Andrew wanted her to keep his kindness a secret. "Well, he..."

Eliab tried to fill in the blanks. "Is not how he makes himself to be?"

Agatha slowly nodded. "You could say that." She held her hand for a shake. "I'm Agatha Amaranth, and your name is?"

Eliab shook the girl's hand. "Eliab Othniel." He let go after the shake. "Well, I'm headed to the Math hallway for Algebra 2 after I grab my breakfast. I'm sure Charles is waiting on me."

"He is there, right now. We are in the same room. He was trying to talk to Anna when I was told to get something for her." She started to head out of the cafteria.

Charles Aaron

"Bad dreams, you say?" Charles held Anna's free hand, knowing that would get her attention. "What kinds of bad dreams?"

Dail walked up the stairs with Asami, and soon enough caught up with Katherine who was giving an odd look, evidently. Though ignoring it, he simply smiled. “Well, if you teach me how to play a guitar, I’m sure I could teach you something in return. There’s plenty of things you could learn, like proper edicate, balance, how to deal with boys, and all sort of things. I can also dance, and I’m sure that comes in handy now and then,” He laughed, before hurrying up the rest of the stairs. Once there, he listened as Katherine gave Asami directions and just nodded in response, “Yep, just down there.”

While watching the nervous girl leave the pair, the butler waved briefly and hoped she would be alright on her own. “I hope she will be alright, such a fragile girl,” Dail muttered before looking to Asami curiously and see her struggling a little. “Just knock on the door,” He called, quietly, before looking to Katherine. “You seem strangely happy this morning,” The butler muttered. “And you gave solid directions as well.”

“I suppose older brothers get that,” Ackley replied before smiling in return.

When at the cafeteria, the boy shyly nodded as his maid allowed him to go first. “Thanks, I‘ll wait for you when I have got everything,” He muttered before getting into line and thinking of what he wanted. Really, despite being quite hungry, he needed to watch what he ate. It was quite annoying, but something he had gotten use to for much of his life.

After waiting in line, and getting what he wanted, the short boy waited for his maid to make up her mind. After much deciding, Ackley settled for a simple fruit salad and carton of milk for his breakfast; mainly as he was nagged at to keep healthy, and to keep his muscles strong. Though of course, mixed with this, he had to also remember to take his tablets. Despite how disgusting they tasted.

Rebecca came out of the line after a short moment with her tray of fruit, blueberry scones, and chocolate milk. "It all looked so tempting in there!" She giggled before spotting a table to sit at. As she sat there, Rebecca looked at her schedule and showed it to Ackley. "Do you mind if we compare schedules?"

Sitting at the table, and setting his tray down against the surface, Ackley looked to the girl before giving a nod in agreement. “Sure, let me just check,” He said, before digging into one of his jacket pockets and pulling out the desired piece of paper. Holding it tightly, he flipped his hand round to reveal it’s contents to Rebecca, and soon noticed they had the same classes. “Hey, we match. What are the chances?”

Setting the sheet down on the table, allowing his maid to look onto it if she wished, Ackley rummaged around in one of his other pockets before pulling out a small bottle and opening it so. In his hand he poured out what seemed to appear as two tablets of sorts, before gulping them down with a swig of his milk which he opened shortly before. Minutes after with a disgusted look he whined, “Yuck.”

Giving himself a moment to take it in, he soon dug into his fruit salad contently.

Rebecca nodded before she started eating. She ate a little bit faster than Ackley, just a small notch. She took in the flavors with each bite, as well. After swallowing, the maid figured a conversation was in order. "So, what did you do in your spare time, if not sports?"

Dail looked to his mistress curiously, seeing her confidence, and quickly sighed a little towards his sheer lack of confidence around people! It was at that moment, while busy mentally nagging himself, that he felt Katherine pulling on his sleeve and in moments pulling him along through the room, and stopping at two seats. “I suppose,” He answered, before looking to the window, and seeming a little more cheerful when seeing the garden. “Yeah, these will do,” Dail assured her, before taking his seat and resting his arms against the desk. “Now sit down before you make a show of yourself,” He whispered and motioned for her to sit down, with a sheepish laugh.

Throwing his bag under the desk, and with an attempted smile, Dail tried to settle himself in the new classroom. He clearly was an awkward individual, but tried to seem comfortable. “Guess we still have some time before class actually begins,” The butler muttered quietly, before turning to his mistress. “We weren’t late at all,” He mused, and then swung back in his chair to view outside the window better. “I wish I was outside instead of in a class room, it seems like a nice day to be outside.”

Ackley was a little caught off guard by the sudden question, causing him to think at that moment, before replying with, “Reading, mostly. We had such a great library at home, that I was often in there with my grandmother as she read me stories,” Pausing for a moment to slurp his milk down, the boy continued. “And I like photography also, though nothing proper just messing around really. My parents were quite focused on their business during much of my childhood, and they wanted for me to be like them, and not waste as much time doing such pointless actives. Although my grandmother did remind them that I was still a kid and needed to have fun,” He laughed quietly to the thought, before looking to his maid.

“I got very ill while I was young, mainly because I was born earlier than I was suppose to, and from that I suffered poor health for quite a bit of my childhood. Even now, as I am, I can get a little unwell now and then but not as bad as I was when little,” Ackley said quietly, with a sigh. “That’s why my parents were not keen on having me participate in sports.”

Pausing again, he took the time to continue eating his fruit, before asking, “I guess all you did was play sports in your spare time?” He laughed a little, smiling.
