a character in “Young Master/Mistress and Butler/Maid.”, as played by ReaperGirl4

Description

General Information
Name: 䜐藀 æȻ怫 Sato Haruo (Haru for short)
Age: 15
Gender: Male
Blood Type: AB+
Family Business: The Satos control an internationally-renowned chain of hospitals. Their company also manufactures medical equipment.
Level: First year
Butler/Maid assigned: Luthais Rae

Appearance
Hair: Blonde

Eyes: Brown

Dressing Style: Classy and sharp

General Appearance: Remarkably small in stature, Haru has been described by almost everyone he meets as "positively adorable" or something along those lines. He has a naturally skinny body type and his eyes are rather large.

Weight: 88 pounds

Height: 4' 9"

Picture: Image

Character Traits
Likes: Sweets, his hair, the color purple, the sun, clouds, playing games, studying, doing well in school, meeting new people

Dislikes: Rain, scary movies, the dark, mean people, vegetables, his height

Habits: Humming to himself, writing with his right hand instead of his left, tapping his foot

Personality: Haru is a very optimistic, cheery person. He tries to see the good in people, even when it's hard to. He is rather sensitive; he loves all things adorable and he cries very easily. He could be described as babyish and dependent. Haruo is very self-conscious about the way people sees him, so he often tried his best to please everyone even if it means being someone he's not. This comes from being raised in a world where appearances matter above all else. While many find him positively adorable, Haruo is a tad bit sick of it. He hates being looked down upon, and he wants more than anything to prove that he can take over the family business despite his appearance.

History
Bio: Haruo was born to Kenji and Dominika Sato on October 30th. He was immediately thrust into a world of order, control, and status. He knew his place. How to look, how to behave, what to wear, what to say, how and when to say it. All of these things he knew almost instinctively. He had to. Although he grew up with servants at his beck and call, money to last a lifetime, and the status of a celebrity, Haruo's life was very controlled. His every move affected his father's business, and he knew it was his duty to make sure his effect was a good one. In turn, he taught this to his younger siblings.

Upon completing elementary and middle school, it was quickly realized that Haruo was a child prodigy. He was always at the top of his class, the most beloved by teachers and students alike, and his future was bright. Very bright. So, his father sent him to Masuta Academy to complete his training to take over the family business.

Birthplace: Kyoto, Japan

“Oh, not weird in a
weird way, but rather someone who’s just
scary?” He sheepishly laughed a little while staring at the boy. Luthais couldn’t really find a better word to describe what he meant, though it wasn’t really that important? He shrugged slightly. “I tend to find some people intimidating, I suppose. Maybe that’s what I mean by weird,” He thought a little before giving another shrug in response. At least, that was till Luthais began to blush a little when the master complimented him. That was his typical response, mostly whenever around new people. “T-Thankyou,” He stuttered with a smile. “Your pretty cool too, I mean, I aint ever met anyone who likes to read like I do.”

He paused briefly. “Your cute too, like, your w-well kept
” Luthais sighed quietly after biting his lip a little. “Not that you look like a little kid or nothing, though kids do kinda look cute’ish. You, on the other hand, have a
mature, spunky look to you, Haru.” The butler quickly hushed himself up for a few moments, feeling himself rattling on a little. However, he added a few minutes later, “Do you plan on borrowing that book? Or else you may need to live in the library in order to finish it.” He teased a little towards the boy amusingly.

Dail ate a little more of his fruit while casually listening to the girl speak, well, at least till he noticed her floundering around whilst in search of something that was in her bag. Well, more accurately, something that wasn’t in her bag, it seemed. Perhaps she lost something?

“What’s the matter?” He asked calmly as Katherine frantically searched in her bag still. “Have you misplaced something?”

Not too long after Dail saw the boy from earlier appearing, suddenly. If anything, that boy was eager to do whatever it seemed for the girl. Not that Dail minded, in a way he found it rather sweet and refreshing if anything else. Oh what was his name again

E
E-E
E
Eliab? That was it! Eliab
something

“Oh, hello Eliab,” Dail muttered softly with a smile, before shifting his stare towards Katherine, who was still in the manner of looking for something. “What is the matter mistress?”

Haru[
He had a feeling he was unintentionally turning pink at Luthais’ compliments. But, thankfully, he made a comment about the book he held. Any pinkness on his cheeks vanished and he looked back at the book. “It’d be cool to live in a library
” he laughed after the sentence. “But yeah. I’ll check it out. There’s more of the school to see, anyways.”

He walked over to the desk and checked out the book with the help of the friendly, elderly librarian. He clutched it to his chest as he and Luthais walked outside the library.

“So, is there anything else of note I’ll need to know the location of, do you think?”

Mel

 indignant!

Mel stood there gaping at the boy for a moment as her mind weighed the pros and cons of punching him in his goddam face. On one hand, it would give her divine satisfaction. On the other, she’d get in trouble, she’d be without a master, she might be expelled, sealing her fate. Who knew what rich people were capable of?

It appeared the cons outweighed the pros. So, swallowing a lump in her throat, she turned on her heel and stomped over to the wallet, bent over, gripped it in her hands, and stomped the way back. She handed it to Andrew with a shaking hand and a scowl on her face.

Luthais followed the young master out of the library while he thought of where to go next, as really, there were so many places to go, though which were the important ones? He turned towards the boy and smiled. “Well, we could go anywhere,” He said softly. “The gardens are pretty nice to visit, and you can get an excellent view of the sky at certain areas,” Luthais stared at Haru briefly before casually gazing off down the halls. “Also, there’s the cafeteria. And your classes as well, in fact. Those places are handy to know as well, incase you get lost.” He paused for a moment.

“Oh, what classes do you have, actually?” Luthais asked curiously.

Dail looked to the girl curiously. “It? Miss, you forgot
it?” He muttered whilst in thought to the mysterious thing in question. Whatever it was Katherine seemed urgently in need of it, per say. Looking more closely he watched the girl leaning against the table in some manner that caused Dail to worry. “It is alright miss,” He tried to assure her and walked over to Katherine’s side, before gently setting a hand to her back and rubbing her a little to sooth her. “Are you having a type of anxiety attack? I’ve seen something like this before, though even then I was unaware of what to do,” Dail shifted his gaze towards Eliab at that moment. “Hey, can you help her?” He asked.

Haru
He paused and thought for a second. “Hm
that’s a good question. Gimme a second.” He reached into his pocket and pulled out a piece of paper. He unfolded it and read it over a couple times before answering. “Okay, I’ve got
Arts & Literature, Social Science, English, Languages, and Technology.” He refolded the paper and replaced it back in his pocket, then looked back up at Luthais. “What do you have?”

Mel
Pros and cons, Mel, pros and cons

Mel crossed her arms and raised a brunette brow at the young man. Then, she smiled wryly. “As much as I’d love to break your nose right now, I realize that it’s not worth getting expelled and blacklisted. So,” She unfolded her arms and put them on her hips. “As long as I’m your maid, however long that’ll be, I’m going to attempt to teach you some manners. First lesson,” She reached up and flicked his forehead with her index finger. “’Please’ and ‘thank you’.” She crossed her arms again and gave a small, good-natured laugh.

Watching Haru for a moment Luthais found himself doing the same and dug out a piece of paper which held all the information he needed for this years. Glancing at it briefly he answered, “I have Arts & Literature, Math, English, Music and Technology,” He looked back towards the boy and smiled. “Looks like we match a little, funnily enough.” Luthais laughed a little before setting the paper back into the pocket neatly. “What’s your favourite subject, do you have one?” He asked curiously. “I have a few, mainly Technology and English, as well as Arts & Literature. I like those the best.”

“Oh your not a broken child at all, Katherine,” Dail muttered in an attempt to cheer the girl up. He could sense some form of sadness that lingered within the girls soft voice. “No ones perfect, and we’re all here to make sure your alright. Ain’t that kinda cool?” He paused for a moment and looked to Eliab, seeing his response to the girls request.

“Maybe a backup would be ideal,” Dail said when hearing the other girl speak, the same lass from before back in the Auditorium, who seemed genuine enough to be concerned over Katherine. “Next time.” He pulled away from the girl and sat down next to her, his eyes shifting occasionally between the persons that surrounded the table.

Mel
She followed Andrew with a sigh. Wherever he found his sister, even if he did, there would most likely be a scene caused. Mel knew this, and she’d only known the guy for a good five minutes or so. No surprise when they entered the cafeteria to see the blonde girl fall over and Andrew rushed ahead and sharply addressed the girl who’d been the cause of the unremarkable incident. His sister looked exasperated, as was Mel, about her brother’s antics. She crossed her arms and stood just behind Andrew.

“Mother of God, Andrew,” she said, rolling her eyes along with Anna-Beth. “Chill.”

Haru
“Favorite subject? Hm
” Haru crossed his arms and gazed out a nearby widow in deep thought. Just like him to almost overthink a queston. “Languages? Maybe. Either that or Arts & Literature. I’m into that kind of stuff, just in case you haven’t noticed yet.” He ended the sentence in his signature giggles, happy that he and Luthais shared at least a few classes.

“I really like Arts & Literature, I find my strengths to be in my creativity, unlike everything else. I’m not that brainy, or at least that’s what I believe,” Luthais said softly while casually looking towards the boy on occasion. “I’d rather put myself down, than be overly confident in belief. I tend to look at the negatives rather than the positives to a situation, as then I won’t get disappointed.” He smiled a little as they wandered down the hall, Luthais at times gazing out the windows amusingly, before turning his attentions back onto Haru, hearing his giggles. “You like to laugh?” He asked, curious. “I’ve noticed you do a lot, and you do have a nice laugh. Very
 vibrant, I’d say.”

A moment passed before Dail felt his shoulder being poked, randomly, which caused him to slowly glance back towards whoever was the culprit. Luckily, it was Katherine, and not some nobody looking for trouble, thankfully. Shifting round fully he looked the girl up and down briefly, seeing her well once more, and watching as she put away her tray. Vaguely, before, she had asked him a question, though it took a few minutes before he could utter a response.

“Lets go see the Headmaster,” Dail muttered, hearing the girl telling him so at that moment. “It’s now or never,” He laughed a little sheepishly before dragging himself out of his seat and tiding his tray away quickly, while in the process regaining his normality back, somewhat. His brief state of lifelessness was over with, as his senses returned. “We’d better get going.” Dail sighed a little before heading for the exit, doing so he stayed close to Katherine, now that her medication was out of sight.

Haru
He stopped his idle wandering at Luthais' comment. Haru immediately turned pink and looked at his shoes. After a moment of silence, he started walking leisurely again, a soft smile on his face. "You think so?" he inquired almost timidly. "You like my laugh? I dunno... I guess I like laughing..." he shrugged. "It's supposed to be healthy for you or something. Anyways, it's kind of fun, I suppose." He looked up at Luthais. "You should laugh more, Luthais," he said good-naturedly.

Mel
She raised a brow at the twins who were muttering what sounded like gibberish to each other, but said nothing. Mel sighed inwardly. With a small prick in the back of her mind, she thought of her own brother. They reminded her of herself and Christian, except the roles were switched. Mel was the overbearing older sibling while her brother was the one she embarrassed. The two were done with their business and Andrew turned and started walking away. Suddenly remembering that the guy was her new master, she hurriedly strode after him.

“It’s nice to see people laughing, as it reminds me of when I was younger, since kids laugh a lot,” He said softly towards Haru. “And yes, I like your laugh,” Luthais smiled a little to the boy, shrugging slightly before walking on. Though, when hearing Haru mention how he, himself, should laugh more Luthais turned slightly to stare at him, seemingly a bit blankly. “I would laugh if there was something to laugh at, and people look at me weirdly as it is,” He said, rather quietly. “I wouldn’t give them a reason more to think of me as indifferent, you see.”

He paused for a moment to think. “Say, you hungry?” Luthais enquired. “There’s a cafeteria here, and it serves good food too,” He smiled a little towards his master, even smirking, for no reason. “Or, we can go explore the classrooms, maybe go and explore the grounds outside?”

Dail followed his mistress to the headmaster‘s office, though noticed her surprising happiness all of a sudden; which quickly faded as fast as it had arrived when actually arriving at the man’s office. Katherine seemed to be nervous, at little unease towards that fact. However, before he could pry further the girl was quickly off towards where she had pointed to, a chair close by where she’d wait.

“Alright, I won’t be long.” Dail assured the girl before heading into the office, alone.

As he entered the room the boy sighed uneasily, feeling slightly nervous himself, though that was to be expected when meeting the Headmaster. Dail didn’t plan on meeting this man often, well, so long as their meetings were not of negative build. When facing up towards the dark haired individual he straightened himself up properly, gulping quietly while slightly biting his lower lip.

“Ah
Daileass Taveon,” LĂ©on spoke softly while glancing through some papers on his desk. “What do you want? Trouble finding a master, or even a mistress?”

Dail shook his head obediently. “No, I have a mistress. My business concerned your gardens, actually.” He replied in a polite manner.

“Ah, the student gardens,” The man sighed while in his thoughts. “Please give me a few minutes to finish up here, and I’ll happily show you them myself, Daileass.”

“
Thankyou,” Turning, and not knowing what else to say, Dail quietly shifted himself out of the Headmasters view and shuffled out the door slowly, before closing it and waiting outside. There, he noticed Katherine still sitting and walked over to her. “The Headmaster is going to show me the gardens, specially,” He muttered towards the girl. “Maybe you could give him your letter, or give me it to give him? Since I noticed your not too keen on him, it was obvious.”

Haru
“Hm
” he pondered over where to go next. According to Luthais, there were a variety of options. But which one to choose? “I’m not super hungry, but we can go to the cafeteria if you want
actually,” he said after a moment or two. “We can go anywhere.” Haru clutched the book to his chest and smiled again. “Now that I’ve got my book, I don’t care where we go. I’m terrible with decisions anyhow,” he concluded, shrugging with a small giggle.

Mel
For most of the following banter exchanged, Mel hadn’t really been paying attention to the exact words spoken. She just knew that Andrew was becoming more of an ass by the second and would soon have to be put in his place again. She didn’t know all the details, but that was pretty much it, as far as she was concerned. But
what were those last words she’d heard come from Andrew? She mentally replayed them. "You shut your mouth right now, Anna-Beth," he’d said with that sickening cockiness of his. "This is men's business. You keep your stupid little girl thoughts over there, you hear me? If he wants to throw down, we'll throw down."

Acting half without thinking, Mel reached out and grabbed Andrew’s ear and yanked on it, hard. It was a tactic she’d used on her own brother many a time when he was starting to show his ass in public. What did she care if it was embarrassing? Except this wasn’t her brother. She yanked harder. This was her master, and he surely needed to be taught a lesson. Angry Mother Hen Mode: Activate.

“EXCUSE ME? MEN’S BUSINESS? ANDREW ANDERSON YOU WILL CEASE BEING AN ASSHOLE RIGHT NOW AND APOLOGIZE FOR YOUR RUDENESS YOUNG MAN!” She sighed angrily and lowered her voice, but still spoke harshly. “Just because you are a masterdoesn’t give you an excuse to act like a total ass to other people. I don’t know how other people stand you! I cannot believe you’d be so immature to actually fight with another student. Really, you are something else. Jesus Mary and Joseph, and I thought you of all people would have some kind of sense....” She gave another agitated sigh and released Andrew’s ear, then crossed her arms over her chest.

“Nah, I’m not that hungry either,” Luthais responded while smiling. “So I guess we’re in agreement there,” Stuffing his hands slowly into his pockets he casually strolled a few steps forward, while thinking, and generally considering where they should go. Luthais had been here for a year after all, so he should be knowledgeable with a few good places to visit, at least. Turning a little he looked towards Haru, before continuing, “Follow me, I know where we can go. I have a
secret place, so to say. If you’d like you could see it?”

“I’m taking it that something happened between you both?” Dail questioned curiously, though didn’t want to pry too much. Though clearly, the girl was not happy about the man, which could only make him wonder as to why that came about. “But, yes, it was obviously noticeable how your cheerfulness vanished when coming to this office, so I could only assume you didn’t like him.” He sighed quietly, hoping not to upset the girl further.

“The Headmaster seemed quite nice when I spoke to him, very professional,” Dail muttered towards the girl, eyeing her curiously as he did. “I’ve never met him till today though, but I think my father knew him briefly. Then again, my father isn’t really that
nice.” He sighed again while looking away, thinking.

Haru
He looked up at Luthais with a raised brow. “Secret
place?” he repeated. His mother’s words came rushing back to him. Haruo, you are not supposed to go anywhere with people you or your parents don’t know. You could get hurt or worse! Haru mentally sighed. He knew Luthais wasn’t a danger to him at all. Besides, a secret place sounded pretty nice. He wouldn’t be stred at by masses of much taller students there. Sounded like a good idea to him. “Okay. That sounds pretty nice,” he said, smiling at his butler.

Luthais gave a slight nod in response. “Yes, secret place,” He spoke softly. “Only I know of it, and a slight few others, but really it’s mine and no one really goes there. That’s why it’s more appealing, since it’s practically a way to escape the people of this Academy whenever things feel too much,” Luthais looked towards the boy for a few more brief moments before turning and taking a few steps forward, and shifting his stare back at Haru. “It’s my secret place,” He said quietly. “And you are welcome to come without worry, nothing bad is going to happen. It’s a small little
hideout, sort of, a den if you like that exists out in the gardens, amongst deep within the bushes, it is. But don‘t worry, it‘s clean.”

--
Daileass Taveon
--

“In a few minutes,” Dail answered the girl quietly. “The Headmaster will show me the gardens in a few minutes, once he’s done with his paperwork I believe. That’s what he said more or less,” He sighed a little, smiling, while his eyes focused more towards the girl curiously. “Don’t worry, I am a guy with all my wits, and therefore no one outdoes me, you see,” Dail tried to assure Katherine a little, feeling her unease nature towards the Headmaster. He didn’t want to pry further and simply continued to smile for a few quiet moments more. “Basically, I can look out for myself, so don’t threat over it.”

Glancing away briefly the boy ran a hand through his hair whilst in slight thought. “I know your not fond of the Headmaster, so I assume you wont join us in the gardens?” Dail questioned a little. “Not that you can’t I mean, I was just wondering as I wouldn’t want you to feel uncomfortable. After all, you did the same for me.” He smiled towards the girl, before shifting his gaze back towards her.

Luthais listened as his young master spoke, seeing the evident tiredness on his features, as well as finding it all a little amusing as the boy yawned with slurred words. "Oh, no worries," The butler replied quietly. "I can see your tired, and it is getting later after all. But really, I don't mind and your not being rude either." He laughed a little towards the boy, before smiling with reassurance, and shrugging. "Anyway..." He paused.

"Are you alright for getting yourself back safely? I can help if possible, but if that's not neccessary then I suppose I better head off then, and get home. Since it's getting dark," Luthais paused again briefly, before continuing. "But I'll see you tommorow, and we can talk more? And do other stuff." The taller boy smiled again, sighing a little as he too felt a bit tired.

"Well, it was nice meeting you, Haru. I couldn't have hoped for a better master, and I'm sure we'll have a great time togeather. But anyway, suppose I should go now and let you get off to bed." He said softly and laughed a little more.

Haru
He smiled drowsily while Luthais spoke, paying attention despite his growing fatigue. After his butler was done speaking, Haru lurched forward and gave him a quick hug before stepping back and talking one last time.

"Night Luthais. You're an' awesome butler. See ya tomorrow," with a wave, Haru turned and walked sleepily down the hallway and turned a corner. Once out of sight from Luthais, Haru started a weird skipping motion and he began humming a tune. Today had been a good day. He was so wrapped up in his thoughts, he'd not noticed he'd dropped his book a few feet back. Giggling, he retrieved it and started walking instead. He got reeeaaaally loopy when he was tired.

It took him a few minutes to find the boy's dorm. When he did, he all but ran inside. His family had a second home in London, but his parents agreed that it would be useless for him to remain at home with three other children, as it would prove a major distraction. At least, they thought so.

He pulled his schedule from his pocket and unfolded it, holding it in front of his face as he wandered the halls. He finally found his room number on the paper and was pleased to see it wasn't that far away. Well, up a couple staircases, at least. Not that far away. The next few minutes passed quickly, and the next thing Haru knew he was in front of the door to his room. Humming, he opened it and stepped inside.

Haru wandered through the space, not really taking it in. He was too tired. He spotted his suitcases in one corner, most likely moved there by the driver. He didn't really care. As soon as he saw the bed, he flopped down and was out like a light.

Mel
Mentally sighing, she opened the door and climbed into the back seat. She noticed another girl as she closed the door but decided not to wonder too much. Probably some girl Andrew'd picked up. She almost laughed at that.

Mel told Andrew her address as she fastened her seatbelt. "It's near the city limits. Hope it's not too out of your way," she said, clasping her hands together on her lap. Unconsciously, she bit her lip, wondering how her brother and mum were doing by themselves.

Luthais smiled warmly towards the young master when receiving an unexpected hug, and shortly after reciprocated the affection before pulling away entirely. Seeing as it was late, and their goodbyes soon enough said, the butler simply nodded in response to the boys kindness. “Thankyou, and goodnight.” The taller boy said cheerfully, hiding back a few hints of laughter at the younger boys tired nature. After a few short minutes and seeing the master shift out of sight, the butler quickly turned and began his trip home a little eagerly, if not to stop his mother worrying.

As the minutes passed Luthais quietly made his way down the halls and stairs, before shortly after venturing out through the entrance of the Academy. He realized it was quite dark, and knew if spotted he may have found himself in a little trouble. But thankfully, the boy had made it out in one piece, per say, and headed home immediately. As he paced down the streets, and kept to himself, Luthais would be home in no time. Not to mention he’d need to sort himself out for tomorrow, and get to know his little master better. But for now all he was interested in was his bed, and sleeping most defiantly.

Haru
Despite the fact that he was bound to run late, Haru had actually woken up early.

He wasn’t sure what time it was, but he’d hopped in the shower first thing. The problem was, after washing himself, he’d leaned against the wall and dozed off. How long he was half-awake in the shower, he didn’t know. The thought of his butler, however, jerked him from this state. Now fully awake, he turned off the water and jumped out of the shower, hurriedly dressing and ruffling his fair hair with the towel a good couple times before grabbing his school back and dashing out the door.

Haru slowed as he slipped into the stream of students heading here and there amongst the hallways and such. What was his first class again? He searched his memory. Arts & Literature, he recalled. At least, he hoped he was right.

He was flooded with relief upon seeing Luthais standing against the wall. Then, his smile wavered. Was he late? Had he worried Luthais? Had he annoyed Luthais? The latter made him shudder a bit but he forced his smile back to full shine as he approached his butler.

“Good morning, Luthais!” he chirped his greeting once close enough to speak normally to his friend.

Mel
Melanie walked into the school in a pleasant mood. Christian had enjoyed the mints last night in celebration as his first day as a third-year. Plus, he’d been in a good mood along with her mother that morning, rubbing off on Mel herself. Today, she decided, was going to be a good day. Vaguely, she wondered if it was her responsibility to hunt down Andrew. She didn’t fret over it too much, though. He probably wouldn’t either, if her assumptions were correct.

She weaved through the crowds of students making their way hither and thither about the school, to wherever it was they were needed. Time to get to class, she decided, and Mel set out to find it.

Luthais looked to the floor, mostly out of boredom, while inspecting his shoes that could’ve used a clean before breakfast this morning. Though really he lacked the motivation, and after a few moments of silent thinking he heard a familiar voice chirping beside him, and looked up a little to see Haru smiling.

“Morning,” He replied softly. “Nice to see you Haru,” When noticing the other students shuffling themselves into the classroom Luthais quickly glanced to his master before sighing, “Come on.” Patting the boys head amusingly, the butler motioned his hand for his little master to follow as he lead them into the class and scanned the area of suitable seats.

“You wanna sit anywhere?” Luthais asked, and glanced down to the boy. “There’s some good seats down the front we could take?”

“Oh, I’m sorry. I just
I don’t know, I didn’t want to assume we were friends, incase I got the wrong idea and that. But, since we are friends, then that’s alright,” Dail quietly replied with a sheepish smiled afterwards. “I’ll think of you as my friend as well as my mistress, as I am a butler, so it’s my job, which I do enjoy doing anyway,” He laughed a little with a sigh, and soon settled against his seat calmly. After a moment of scanning the room once more, Dail soon noticed a familiar face at the door, and waved a little to catch her attention. “Katherine look, it’s her, Asami,” He whispered over to his mistress keenly, with a smile, before motioning his hand for the pair to set beside them, seeing as they were the only ones Dail and Katherine knew a little.

Haru
Haru beamed as he was patted by his butler and companion. Happily, he followed Luthais into the classroom, for once not bothered by how short he was in comparison to the rest of the class like he normally would be. Instead, he was in a much better mood and decided not to let that usually looming fact mess with him that particular morning.

“You wanna sit anywhere? There’s some good seats down the front we could take?” Luthais voice caused him to look up at his butler. Haru looked back and saw the seats and smiled once more. “Alrighty!” he said, and half-skipped over to sit in one, setting his bag down by the leg of the desk.

Luthais laughed quietly at his masters keenly attitude, and followed on after the boy before sitting at his side and looking down a little towards him. As he sat the taller boy threw his bag under the desk, before shifting it about with his feet, and finally settling himself into his seat. While the pair were settling Luthais noticed a teacher strolling in at that moment, assuming that person to be theirs, and accepting that class might have begun just at that moment.

“Hm
I wonder what sort of stuff we’re gonna get taught,” He muttered quietly, seeing the teacher busy with some filing, and then turning his attention to the front of the class. “Guess we’ll find out.” The boy sighed and crossed his arms, before leaning back in his chair. As a few minutes passed the teacher stood at the front and began explaining about their class work, and many things that would concern them throughout the year.

When the teacher wasn’t looking Luthais whispered, “Hey, we should do something special later, at lunchtime, seeing as this is our first day together and all that?” He looked towards his master briefly, smiling, then slowly glancing back towards the teacher.

“The more things in common I have with your bother, the better I think. Seeing as he is a little
cautious towards me?” The short boy replied quietly. Ackley smiled in response towards the girl, before shifting his stare over to the teacher who began talking at that moment, and beginning to explain the countless things they’d be studying over time spent in the class, before going into further detail once the teacher had everyone’s attention. While sitting in his chair comfortably the boy began to swing his feet back and forth in a laidback rhythm, seeing as his feet did not touch the floor, and that it was fun to do anyway.

When it came to writing Ackley was always eager to learn and involve himself, though his slight sleep-deprived state from earlier had caused him to feel a little tired, which was evident through his hung-over eyes that stared in a dully nature towards their teacher who spoke. However, the teacher hadn’t noticed, and the boy could see a few other shattered expressions beside his own within the class.
