It was 7 o'clock in the morning, the sun just peaking over the horizons. Katherine, unfortunately was still sound asleep. Not a good thing for the first day of school at Masuta Academy. The bright yellow sun shinned through the small crack in the purple curtain that hung over the fairly large window in Katherine's dorm room. Classes start in an hour, at 8 o'clock. It had only been two days in London, England since Katherine moved from Helsinki, Finland. She spent the past two days unpacking all her things and making her dorm look nice. She will be spending a year here, ya'know. Only able to go home on holidays. The sound of the morning birds happily chirping in the tree branch next to Katherine's window, was pretty loud. After a good 5 minutes, Katherine finally began to awake from her deep slumber.

"Ugh...What time is it anyways...?" She questioned, still in a dazed sleep. Katherine slowly opened her light sky blue eyes, squinting from the blinding sunlight, shinning right at her face. "Only 7...I guess I should get ready now..." She muttered, dragging her heavy sleepy body out of her large round bed. Making her way to her closet, Katherine scratched the back of her head and yawned. "Let's see now...I'll wear this.." She took the outfit that was hanging in her closet and went into the bathroom. She hung the outfit on the hook in the bathroom, then turned on the shower to a lukewarm temperature.

As the water turned perfect to her taste, she undressed, and got into the shower. Washing her hair and herself only took half an hour. Katherine turned off the water and grabbed her dark blue towel. She wrapped herself in the towel and got out of the shower. Katherine walked over to the mirror, taking out a blow-dryer. She plugged it in and turned it on medium. Drying her short dark honey caramel brown hair didn't take long.

Once she was done, Katherine dressed herself in a short lolita-like dress. It was white from the neck to just above the stomach, with a thin black bow tied loosely around her neck, then black from where the white ended to just above her knees, from where the black began, the dress fanned out. She then put on black tights with black mary janes ballet flats that did have a 1in heel. Finally Katherine tied a black bow in her hair that rested on top of her head.

Haruo Sato
"Kharuo! Vstavaĭ. Eto vremya, chtoby podgotovitʹsya k shkole."

Haruo! Get up. It's time to get ready for school.

His mother's voice, speaking Russian, awoke him from his comfortable slumber. Usually, the family servants would have woken him up. But today was the first day of school, and his parents always gave him a language-check before the sent him out into the world.

"Da, mama. Ya poluchu pravo na eto."

Yes, Mother. I'll get right on it.

He sat up and rubbed his eyes, then got out of bed. He went into the adjoined bathroom and closed the door. He looked himself over. His golden hair had managed to stay relatively decent throughout his slumber, but his brown eyes hadn't yet regained their illustrious shine. It was, of course, morning.

"Haruo, kyō wa hijō ni jūyōna hida. Sore o rikai shite imasu."

Haruo, today is a very important day. Understand that.

His mother's voice, speaking Japanese this time, sounded from his bedroom. It took him a moment to transition languages, and he knew his mother would not be pleased. "Hai," he answered softly. Yes. He knew how important the day was. Masuta Academy. His first day of high school.

He was done looking himself over and went back into his room to find his mother gone, and an outfit laid on his four-poster bed. He slipped out of his pajamas and began to get dressed for the day. He put on the white dress shirt, slipped the light blue blazer on over it, put on his matching slacks. Then, he put on his socks and black loafers and stood up, looking himself over in the mirror. He was missing something. He looked back on the bed, and a black tie lay untouched. Oh. Right. The tie. Haruo tied it expertly about his neck and looked at himself once more. He saw a short babyish blonde kid with too-large eyes who was trying his best to look like an adult even though he looked like a ten-year-old. He sighed despondently. He looked at himself in frustration. "Why can't I look... normal?" he growled to himself in English. Then, his back straight and head held high like he'd been taught, he strode out of his room and down two flights of stairs and entered the large, ornate dining hall. He took a seat between his mother and father, who were calmly eating breakfast at that time.

"Good morning son," his father said in English.

"Good morning Father."

"You understand how you must present yourself at this new school of yours, yes?"

"Yes."

"Very good. I have faith in you, Haruo," his father said with a smile.

After breakfast, he brushed his teeth and ran a comb through his hair. At last, he was ready. He was nervous, too. He stepped outside and was escorted to the dark limousine by the driver and secured in the back seat. As the limo pulled away from the manor, the nervousness increased. Haruo shuddered. How would this day go?

Melanie Colburn
"Christian! Wake up! It's time for school! Come on, you're a third year today."

Mel shook her sleeping brother until she heard a moan of discontent and she was promptly pushed away.

"Okay Mel," he grumbled. "I get it. Now get outta my room."

Despite Christian's attitude, Mel smiled. At least he was up. She herself was dressed and had already eaten breakfast. Her walk to school was longer so she'd be leaving earlier. In a few minutes, actually. Her new school... Masuta Academy. She was going to learn how to be a maid. It had actually been Christian's idea. A good way to make money in the long run.

She left her brother's room and shut the door behind her. Then, she proceeded to the bathroom where she looked at her hair in the mirror. Mel promptly began braiding her shoulder-length brunette mop until it was neat like every other day. She took her school bag, walked to the front door, and called back inside, "I'm leaving!"

Then, she was off to her first day at Masuta Academy. Oh boy.

"I told you, didn't I? I said, 'Anna, we have school, don't mess around in the kitchen.' I told you, 'Anna, you're going to get flour on your dress, now stop it.' I told you!" Andrew had that annoying, know-it-all tone in his voice again as he tugged his sister by the hand towards the Academy. They had been up on time, almost ready to leave, when sweet Anna had gotten it in her head to make pastries.

"They're Daddy's favorite!" she argued gently, trying to keep up with his lonk and lanky gait. The maroon scarf wound around both their necks helped to keep them close, but Anna-Beth was always tripping to stay the same pace as her brother, who always seemed to be marching around impatiently. She wound her pale hand better into her twin's, and picked up her feet, half-jogging to stay with him.

"Another reason you shouldn't have made them," Andrew growled, the protective venom creeping into his voice again. Andrew couldn't stand their parents, not since Anna-Beth's accident.

"Ok, well, I'm sorry. Let's just hurry and not be late for school."

(Sorry for the short post, I'm at school and that's all I could do at the moment.)

Luthais Rae

Hold it…Hold it…Keep goiiiiiing…Now release.

Luthais breathed heavily as he sighed, having been up for a few hours now. Weather it was down to excitement, or nerves, he wasn’t sure why his body tingled a little, his heart beating quickly, and of course as to why his palms were a little sweaty. But quite frankly, when he got down to it, Luthais didn’t care that much. As usual he’d gotten little sleep, yet was still expected to perform at full function and carry on as if everything was perfect.

For a few moments he quietly gazed at his tired persona evident in the mirror, and noticed how knackered he truly looked. Despite all his attempts to hide his ever more noticeable black eyes it all felt rather pointless, although Luthais never gave up on hope. His mother often nagged him before he left the house if anything was out of place, as being a student at Masuta Academy was an important thing.

“Ah, well. Can’t do much else, though don’t suppose I look too bad.” He muttered quietly.

Quickly he fluffed his hair a little, it’s dull grey tangles flopping down against his shoulders. Often, at times, his mother would suggest to tie it up somewhat, though Luthais was determined to seem more manly, and not so much flimsy. After all, he wasn’t the most bulkiest of guys, nor held much else.

Glancing around his eyes caught note of the time, remembering at that moment that classes began at eight o’clock, and also realizing it was just leaving seven o’clock. Dammit. Though being up early, that didn’t mean he enjoyed it, nor wished to spend most of his time at the Academy. Alas, however, today was his first day back at Masuta Academy and showing up late was just out the question, despite everything.

“Right, that’s me off! Bye!” He called while stumbling out his room, trying to be quick and elegant, but evidently loosing to his speed. Thankfully he caught himself and managed not to fall, while heading down the hall and dashing out the front door. The boy had been up that early that he’d been ready to leave for almost four hours in advance, as when he did eventually leave some of his anxiety slightly lifted from his shoulders, and Luthais actually got a little excited.

Before, his mother reminded him to grab his backpack, or else he would’ve been halfway down the street before noticing. And with that little problem taken care of, Luthais mentally prepared himself for the day ahead. He knew already he would have to be someone’s butler, and could only hope that individual was nice. As he himself hadn’t really ever been a butler, or anyone of that sort. It was sure to be, if anything, an interesting day…

--
Daileass Taveon
--

You are kind, you are nice, and you are caring. Remember that!

Dail mentally nagged himself to no end, trying to remember his manners and above all else, remembering to just be nice. His mind often done the talking, and usually left himself to deal with the consequences later on. But now was the time to get a grip on all these nasty habits, and seal them away, forever.

Smile. You remember what that is, right? Just don’t bear the fangs.

He stared adoringly at himself in the mirror, eyeing up his entire attire before pulling away and pacing through his room in a rather panicked manner. Though it wasn’t the whole first day scenario that got to him, it was the fact that he lacked a degree of self control when it came to being…nice. In a way he felt sorry for whoever would take him as their butler, not that he was deliberately hard to handle, but rather he was just stubborn, and didn’t take kindly to orders, to an extent.

Deep breaths. Count to ten. Walk it off.

Ah, if only those self-help methods actually worked. Dail put quite a few calming down exercises to the test, and won. But that was the problem. He wasn’t suppose to! Shaking his head he quickly ignored all thoughts of doubt that lingered within him, and instead thought of more happier occasions.

In amongst getting everything ready he occasionally patted down his pale shaded hair, trying to keep it neat, though loose. If that could ever make sense. At times he’d sneak back to the mirror and try to perfect expressions, mainly smiling and laughing. After all, he wanted to seem normal.

“Alright, it’s time,” Dail huffed with slight insecurity. “No time like the present.”

He picked up his backpack and threw it over his shoulder, gripping it tightly with one hand, while resting the other in one of his pockets. After ensuring all was not forgotten, and that he was prepared for any given scenario, the boy left his room confidently and headed for the door, briefly in-between saying his goodbyes to his grandfather, before eventually leaving the house entirely and making his way to Masuta Academy…

--
Ackley Bee
--

“Yes, mother.” Ackley sighed, repeating the same line over and over.

“Now, you promise to take it easy and not overexcite yourself?” His mother asked, showing an overly concerned nature that was surely growing annoying to the boy. However, he was use to it. Very.

“Again, yes mother.”

“If you need help you’ll ask for it, won’t you?”

“Uh-huh.”

“Call us if it gets too much?”

“Of course.”

“And--”

“Mother, enough. I’m a big boy and can take care of myself.” He silenced the woman swiftly, patting her shoulder softly before escaping her grasp once more. “I must go now.”

It was nearing quarter past seven, and Ackley knew his mother would hold him there for another week if she could get away with it. But fortunately he had grown use to this and often managed to escape, or else he feared he may not have a life, dare say if his mother got her way.

“Bye mother, and say my goodbyes to father.” Unfortunately his father was away on business, and even more unfortunate that his mother was not. Pulling his dark toned hat down tightly against his skull the boy made sure to button up his matching coat, that was too dark and rather lifeless. Combined with his pale skin complexion he was almost represented as a mini grim reaper, to others amusement.

“Goodbye.” Finally, he was leaving.

The chauffer came and escorted the boy to their family car, which would be used to drive him to Masuta Academy, despite living rather close by. Hopping inside he got comfortable, quickly sorting himself out and ensuring he had everything. Although it was hard for him not to forget anything as his mother constantly appeared with things for the boy to take with him. Like now, as he dauntingly stared at the woman running up to the to car with books in hand. Oh no…

“Honey, you forgot these?” She sighed while opening the door widely, before ramming the books into his backpack. “You know you can’t sleep without a good story, silly. And I know how you adore your romance ones.”

Ackley blushed a little before closing the door, making sure his mother was not in his personal space anymore. After that he faked a smile and looked to the driver.

“Drive! Quickly now!” He snapped, still bearing an awkward smile. The car sped off immediately as it headed for Masuta Academy…

" Please tell me you'll try to make friends?" Rina's mother, Korean-born Lee Jin Hyeon, was a famous model and actress but it would have astounded her agent as the woman knelt on the floor in front of her daughter. She was holding Rina's hands tightly in her own as she stared up into the teenager's face and begged for her daughter to socialize. For once in her life.

" Yes mother," Rina muttered as she pulled her hands from Hyeon's grip and turned to her father, Daisuke Kobayashi, who had taken the morning off work to send his daughter on her way to the academy. She stared at him expectantly, her kneeling mother forgotten, with her stormy grey eyes seeming a bit bored. It wasn't her fault she wasn't so social, personally the girl blamed it on her parents' success and others trying to use her to get to her family. Everyone wanted to be a singer or an actress these days and it really annoyed the brunette, especially when they kept passing her demo CD's to pass along to her father. Well, a little known secret was that every single one of them went in the trash.. Sh! Secrets must be kept.

" Gyōgi yoku shi nasai," was all the Japanese man said sternly, to which she nodded silently before turning to exit the door and go to the lobby of the hotel to meet the driver. The driver had already picked up her belongings and placed them in the trunk of the car for her and now she had to look forward to a rather short drive to Masuta Academy, her newest boarding school in England. Her parents would be leaving on a flight back to Japan later that day to attend to some matters regarding her father's record label, EMI Music Industries, which quite literally was his life.

" Goodbye," the young girl said flatly before leaving the room to the hall. " Have a safe flight back." Her words were barely heard as she stepped down the hall and the door closed behind her. Rina Kobayashi had to look forward to attending the academy now as she made her way to the lobby and out the door to where the driver waited with the car.

"Alright! I'm ready!" Katherine looked at herself once more in the mirror, nodding to herself. She grabbed her backpack, usually she would have a small shoulder bag and carry her books, but her mother insisted that she buy a backpack. Thou her mother was about 1,496 miles away, she still listened and bought herself a backpack. However, there really wasn't anything inside it, it was practically empty.

Just before she left, Katherine grabbed a light tan envelope on a small end table by the door, which inside held a parchment letter to the Headmaster of the Academy. "I'll give this to him, first thing. I so hope he'll accept it.." She told herself, giving the envelope a small kiss for good luck. She nervously reached for the handle of the door, her hand shaking once it came into contact. Katherine too a deep breath, then released it, and opened the door.

"Well, this is it..." With that, Katherine closed her door, locking it behind her. Even if she was nervous and scared, she put on a smiling face, and skipped down the halls of the dorms. Not everyone attending Masuta Academy will be staying in dorms, some students live near by so there is no need for them to.

Once Katherine was out of the Dormitory building, she made her way to the Headmaster's office. After a quick 5 minutes she was there. "Um...Ex-Excuse me?" Katherine quietly said in a soft tone voice, knocking on the Headmaster's door.

There was no answer. Maybe he was already out?

With a heavy sigh, Katherine neatly tucked the letter away in her backpack and headed for the Auditorium. There was suppose to be an assembly for incoming first years and new students.

The entrance was rather busy when Luthais arrived promptly at the Academy, perhaps too busy for his liking. He wasn’t the type who craved the attention of crowds, and as result he often dreaded any form of first days at any place. But alas, he could not waste time complaining and simply got on with it.

He knew that there was an assembly for all new students and first years, however he had already suffered his, and thankfully did not need a repeat of the event. It was nothing dreadful, he just got bored.

Occasionally he’d wave and wish pleasant greetings on a few individuals as he traveled down through the halls, only recognizing a few students from the previous year. As he, himself, wasn’t overly popular though not someone you’d easily forget. Although, the only thing on his mind was the fact he’d become someone’s butler, though not just anyone’s. He’d been lucky to avoid being a butler last year, though expected this time things would change.

Then again, the thought of being a butler wasn’t so bad, he just wanted someone who’d treat him equally, and not of the lower class from which he was born from. And yet, if that did ever happen, Luthais wasn’t sure how he’d react to being treated so badly.

Having nothing better to do he lingered around the Auditorium, taking the chance to see the new faces that would be hovering around the Academy, and of who would be in his classes, if any.

Daileass Taveon
--

Daileass Taveon, don’t you dare frown!

Ah, he could hear his grandfather’s voice nagging him already, and he’d only just reached the entrance of the Academy. Then again, he needed all the advice he could get. His face was struggling to maintain a simple smiley expression, as it so desperately wanted to retreat back into it’s usual frowny one. Despite knowing he shouldn’t.

Smile, make it seem natural. Yes, thaaaat’s it! Nod and smile, keep walking!

He’d overheard the mentioning of an assembly and assumed that was his first point of matter, after noticing a few other students going along that way in which the Auditorium lay. Taking that, he obediently followed the students, though kept a slight distance, and made his way to the Auditorium.

I wonder who’ll be my master, or mistress…

Of course that was something that lay heavily on his mind, the knowing of who his master, or even mistress would be, and more importantly what were they like? It was going to be tuff to obey and take orders, especially if the individual was a slave driver. Oh, hell no! Dail wouldn’t accept that.

As he quietly crept into the Auditorium Dail made no effort in socializing, and generally kept himself to himself. Then again the place was only just starting to fill up, there were more expect to come. And if anything his nerves were playing havoc with him, and he just needed a few minutes of peace and quiet.

Now, relax…

The car pulled over and slowly came to a halt outside of the Masuta Academy, the chauffer seeing to the younger master’s door and opening it politely, before the young boy stepped out at his own pace.

“Oh dear, it’s busy.” Ackley muttered to himself.

Crowds didn’t bother him too much, it was the fact he was lacking in height so to say, and therefore no one would spot him easily. In turn, he wouldn’t be able to find anyone either, and it was in times like this that his mother was useful. She’d never let anyone step in on the boy. Oh dear…

“I will ensure your belongings are securely delivered to your room, young master,” The chauffer said softly over the boy’s shoulder. “Goodbye, and pleasant thoughts be with you.”

The man left and returned to the car swiftly, before driving off and doing as he had explained. As even though Ackley lived close by he was adamant to have freedom and live here at the Academy, especially as his parents would be gone for a long period of time, and that his loyal grandmother could use a little holiday on her own. Which in turn left the boy to his own devices, despite having never coped on his own without family. This would indeed be quite the challenge for him.

“Well, better get started.” He huffed and took a deep breath to calm his thoughts.

After spending a few minutes thinking he remembered that he would need to find a butler, or even a maid to help him through the time spent at the Academy. Though that would be another challenge all on it’s own. With a deep sigh he swung his backpack over his shoulders before setting off into the Academy, while trying not to trip anyone up. Eh, well…

While moping round the halls he overheard a few students muttering about an assembly of some sort, for new students amongst others, and thought this would be ideal for him to investigate. He was, after all, new to the Academy and knew very little of where to go, and who to know. With this he set off to the Auditorium with high hopes of finding someone like himself; clueless, but rich. Given the situation.

It hadn’t took long for him to find the Auditorium, and with nervous breaths he cautiously entered before seating himself down somewhere and clutching his backpack tightly…

Seeing the fairly large mop of students outside the Academy heading towards a building, Katherine only hoped that they were all going to the Auditorium.

"Voi juku..." Oh boy. Katherine spoke in Finnish, making her way, following the crowd. She was pretty short, only standing at 4 ft 9 in. Though she was wearing 1 in black mary janes ballet flats, which made her 4'10.

Katherine quickly got lost in the crowd, which frightened her. She wasn't use to being around so many people. She was on the outer side of the crowd, how did she get in the middle of it? Shuffling her feet only moving a few inches in a matter of many minutes, the mop of people seemed to be getting bigger and bigger. Everyone seemed so much taller than her, Katherine was afraid that she might get trampled by the other students.

"Come on pipsqueak! Hurry up!" A rude loud voice yelled from behind Katherine.

In seconds, Katherine felt a force full shove on her back. In a blink of an eyes, she was out of the crowd of students and on the floor of the Auditorium, laying flat on her stomach. She could feel the stares of the other students on her and the light laughter among them.

Katherine dared to lift her head, feeling immensely embarrassed. When she did, the laughter grew slightly louder. She held back her tears that were brimming at her eyes.

What a great way to start the new school year at Masuta Academy.

Techno music blared; and birds outside flew off, the obnoxious music brimming the air with tense feelings.

SLAM! An alarm clock went flying off a neatly wooded, and polished, coffee table in which a pale hand took the alarm clock's place. A shrill shriek filled the air coming from downstairs, and two bright green eyes flew open. The youth's other hand came up to his lips to muffle an irritated groan; mornings sucked, all in all, for the Goodliffe child. Independence sat up, rising his hand away from the table to run it through his locks of blonde hair, thinking to himself and indulging in the silence; that is, until Payton slammed the door open with a bat in his hand. Ever since that incident, his "mum" has been more cautious and paranoid. Sometimes, it annoyed the younger male, but sometimes it could act as a blessing.

"There's nothing wrong. I threw my alarm clock; that's all." Independence explained quietly, Payton lowering his hands to just dangle the baseball bat to his side. His mum nodded, and they both sighed, soft smiles rising to their faces. "Going back and fourth packing and unpacking for your dorm all week. Ready for an actual day of school today?" Payton asked, quietly walking to his son and sitting next to him on the bed.

"Yeah I guess," the male answered quietly, "but I'm somewhat freaked out about it, y'know? What if I can't, you know, hold back what I want to say and end up making a stupid fool of myself? It's bound to happen." Payton shrugged. "Well, you can't always expect everything to go fine and dandy like roses. Some things just happen; okay? Just see if you can hold it back whatever comes to mind; and if you can't, just whisper it or write it in a journal so no one could hear, or well, see."

"Uhnnn." Independence groaned, slapping his hand against his face. "I'll get through it somehow." Hopping off his bed, he stretched briefly, before looking in his mirror in his room and putting on his earrings; the one on the shell, then the one on the lobe with the multicolored, bright crystals. He dressed into the usual, to make him look formal or well, decent so to speak. He didn't want to look too fancy, nor too lousy, so it resulted in: a long white, creamy cloak with a white cravat, white undershirt, black gloves, brown pants, lace-up boots, and that was pretty much it to be honest.

He went downstairs, and Payton was already there: he seemed to have left while Independence was getting ready. Scooping up a large bag-like backpack, he gave a small nod to his "mother" and smiled. "I'll see you soon, I suppose." The young male waved as he exited the house, climbing onto a rather large, green moped (a bit similar to a motorcycle, and after all, he is 16, so it's legal) and putting on a green and black motorcycle helmet, since Payton was always paranoid he made him buy it. Honestly, the moped looked extremely similar to a motorcycle; it's designed to look a bit like one after all; though there are different variations.

Riding off, he seemed a bit "overly dramatic" if you look at him. One, the bottom of his coat is flying out like some cape from speed. Two, well, he's just generally overly-dramatic. Moving on, the school wasn't that far, since Payton and him moved out of Cheshire to London a couple of years back, so he didn't really have to waste any effort of driving a long distance.

Parking in the parking lot next to the school, he got off and removed his helmet, flipping his hair to the side to get it back to normal. Almost immediately, he remembered where to go: the Auditorium for new students. Sure, he was a 2nd year, but he was new to the school so it was figured. He held his bag behind his back as he walked up to the school doors, the 1 and a half inch heels of his boots tapping against the asphalt like a rhythm. Inhaling briefly, he opened the doors and made his way down the halls; annoyed that his shoes would not stay silent no matter what.

Once he got to the Auditorium, he inhaled once again to calm himself, and walked through the doors. All eyes seemed to follow him; usually most eyes did when a student entered. It embarrassed him, really, and to prove it a small blush rose to his cheeks as heat engulfed his whole face. He could feel his heart racing in his chest as if it were driving in Nascar. It was so hard to hold back his words, though he somehow managed it and made his way to the middle, taking a seat quietly and laying his bag on his lap.

He could hear the conversations, the whispers, the quiet giggles, until it all went silent when a girl suddenly fell. It was broken with immense giggles and laughs, though Independence wasn't giggling or laughing. He could see the tears coming up to her eyes, and a small frown rose to his face. How rude and insensitive the people around him seemed to be. No one went up to help her! Independence couldn't help her even if he wanted to; kids were blocking his path.

The boy was so irritated to the point he felt his impulse. He wanted to scream out profanities at the people laughing and giggling; he was trying so hard to hold it back. Mornings sucked, and were completely crappy. Independence was always in a bad mood in mornings, and he just didn't need this right now. So, this is what he did.

Independence slammed his bag against the chair and it echoed, his impulse raging his mind. He had to scream, or else, he would be in a bad mood all day. Sorry, Payton. "Shut up, you insensitive wankers!"

A male behind Independence gasped because of his language, and he twitched, trying to ignore it. He rested two fingers on each hand against his temples, rubbing in small circles as he tried to calm himself. How rude, annoying, and inconsiderate they were to laugh. Sitting back down slowly and soon bringing his knees to his chest, heels digging into the seat as he continued the movements on his temples.

Luthais watched as the new girl came and feel, tragic. If a first wasn’t bad enough then surely this was ten times worse on all levels; the embarrassing, cringing emotion that surely no doubt filled up inside the girl. How awful. Then again, no one was helping her. Despite having all the money in they world not one of the rich brats would lend a hand to a fellow wealthy individual, which really did some up quite a few of the students in this Academy. Some were selfish, to a great extent.

“Poor girl,” Luthais sighed as he stood against the wall, and only just noticing he, himself wasn’t helping either. Which made him wonder as to what butler he would be like. “Pity.”

It was then at another student caught his eye, a boy who seemed to lack self control. Ouch. Whoever that gut was, well, he would certainly provide some amusing moments, to say the least. But then, what was he doing now? Oh, trying to calm down by looks of it. If only. Taking that as an invite Luthais causally strolled over to the unstable lad and lay a hand on his chair, just touching the edge of his shoulder.

“You know, that sort of language won’t be tolerated at this Academy,” Luthais muttered quietly to the boy, as if he didn’t already know. “Best not let teachers hear you, you know?” He laughed before removing his hand. “Obviously your new here, unlike me. But you know, your quite funny. Just saying.”

Dail tried to ignore the echoing of laughter that quickly filled the room, but alas curiosity won over his frail mind and quickly he found himself looking for the sort of amusement. And fortunately it was rather obvious, the sit of the girl on the floor was indication enough and the boy bared a smile, at least he did until his conscience kicked in. It took him a moment to realize how wrong it was, and that no one offered a hand to help. Perhaps, just maybe, this was his chance! An opportunity to be nice, for once.

Do it. Do it. Do it.

“E-Excuse me!” Dail yelled aloud, stumbling off his seat. Unfortunately gathering all the eyes of students in the room, which made the boy feel somewhat nervous. “L-Let me help!”

Dail made his way over to the girl on the floor, stilling feeling a bit embarrassed at the whole thing. Placing both hands on either of her arms he pulled the damsel onto her feet, with great effort. He wasn’t sure how she’d react, or even if she’d be pleased of grateful. But at least he could feel good about himself, that was, if anything, the main point of helping.

“Silly girl, that’s no way to enter a room,” Dail mumbled to the girl, unsure if she were even listening. Despite it, he continued, “No thanks required. Just don’t fall again.”

Ackley watched the whole event unfold, and made sure to keep himself well out of it. Though indeed he felt somewhat bad for the girl, it was her own fault and he didn’t want any attention brought onto himself. So for that matter he kept still in his seat, clutching his backpack as he did.

“Oh dear, this day should go… well.” He sighed.

Katherine slightly jumped when she heard a boy yell to all the laughing students to shut up. It made her feel slightly better, knowing that not everyone was a complete and total jerk.

Kat looked up from stating at the ground, as another boy yelled. She saw the boy stumble off the seat and make his was across the Auditorium floor. Hearing him say that he was going to help her, she got the impression that at least there were kind people in this school.

In a moment, the boy placed both of his hands on Katherine's arms, and he pulled her onto her feet. Once she was standing again, she let a small sweet smile form on her lips.

"I suppose I'm a silly girl, falling like that when I entered." Kat said, as a quiet giggle escaped her. "No, I need to thank you. You're the one who helped me. So, thank you." She nodded her head, hearing the boy tell her not to fall again."

Then in seconds Katherine's smile went away, feeling immensely ashamed that the boy had to come all the way over to her, just to help her. She could of done it herself, but the humiliation she felt wouldn't left her stand.

"I'm sorry, you must of felt a little embarrassed helping me in front of everyone...I'm sorry if I caused you any trouble." Katherine told the young boy, holding her hands in front of her, and bowing her head in respect.

Anna-Beth tugged Andrew behind her into the auditorium, excitement propelling her slender form forward. A girl was laying on the ground, but someone pulled her up and she looked alright, though Anna-Beth herself still hopped from foot to foot nervously.

"If you're so worried, go check on her," Andrew grumbled in a sarcastic tone.

"Great idea!" Anna grinned, released her brother's hand, and dove into the crowd to wiggle her way towards the girl. Andrew let out a quiet shout of annoyance, and tried to follow her, but he was taller and got stuck in the thrush of other students. He hated when she got away like that, disappeared from his sight. It made him nervous, and worried.

Anna-Beth, however, was perfectly happy to find her way to the girl. She got to her side in moments, then happened to notice all the boys around and...her words failed her. She was never so confident around the opposite sex, only her brother, so being in their presence made her twitchy.

"I'm...are you alright? I saw you fall and...I wanted to check on you," she said gently, biting her lip. Even having a boy's eyes on her made her blush and stutter, so being anywhere near one was bad. She focused instead on the pretty young girl before her, and making sure she was alright.

Andrew, frustrated with trying to find his way through people, went and found two seats next to each other, laying his right ankle on his left knee and leaning back to wait. She was such a silly girl, so desperately gentle, he knew he had to protect her from the world--it ate up little girls like her every day. Surveying the crowd, he scowled as he noticed a few guys glancing his sister up and down. Sure she was pretty, he knew that much. But none of those guys had the class to LOOK at her, let alone speak to her.

And thus, the Anderson twins began their first day, being helpful, and being...not so helpful.

Rina sighed as she stepped from the car, now parked in front of the school, with her parents' driver holding the door for her.

" Off to the Auditorium with you, young miss," the older man said with a small smile, his wrinkly face showing his fondness for the girl. " All new students are to report there." The brunette merely gave a nod as she glanced to the trunk. " I'll take your bags where they're needed to go, don't you worry. Now," the man named Mister Akiyama lightly held her shoulders and turned her toward the school, " you better get going."

The musical heiress smiled slightly, not that he would see it, as she set off on her way. But not before muttering a low, " Thank you," to the man who had helped her so much in this time of changing schools.

Rina Kobayashi found the Auditorium easily with help from a few young men who had apparently wanted to aid her due to her status as 'new'. The girl, on the other hand, had waved them off while hiding her annoyance. Just because she wasn't very tall and appeared underweight didn't mean she was a fragile young girl who needed others at ever step of the way. How rude of them but, also, it had been polite too.. As strangely as that was.

She stepped inside the doors and immediately set to finding an empty seat, preferably a little ways from the bulk of the crowd. She ended up sitting two rows back from the biggest congregation of the new students, making sure to keep her expression blank. Rina had no wish for anyone to sit beside her, not right now.

Haruo
He hopped out of the limousine, almost forgetting his bag behind. Luckily, the driver noticed and handed it to him. Haruo thanked him gratefully and turned to face his new adventure, his new school.

It was grand, obviously, but more so than Haruo had expected. He wandered through the unfamiliar hallways, noting the odd stares that were directed at him. He was used to it. He was, after all, abnormally short. Not to mention he looked like a softie. He held his head high and kept his back straight as he made his way to the auditorium, confident that the air about him was confident and professional.

At last, he made it to the auditorium. He didn’t sit down, instead standing by the wall of the grand auditorium. His eyebrows quivered. He wasn’t sure how long he could keep up the “professional” appearance. He should have been used to it by now, but no matter how many times he tried to keep it up it always ended up breaking somehow. It wasn’t who he was.

Mel
As soon as the grand school came into sight, Mel began a sprint to the building, not giving a damn how stupid she looked. She hoped she wasn’t late.

She entered the school, keeping her schoolbag close as she looked around in wonder. Ho-lee shit. She wasn’t used to this much grandeur. It was almost scary what these rich people did to decorate. Mel reached up and adjusted her braid, making sure she at least looked somewhat decent. After all, if she didn’t get some rich kid to attend to, how was she going to get practice for her future? She had to learn how to support her little brother and absent-minded mother somehow.

She entered the grand old auditorium, which was where the new students were to supposedly congregate. She took a seat in the back, solitarily, and looked around. There were rich kids, but also kids that had the same common appearance that she herself carried. She allowed a small smile to grace her lips. It seemed that she might find some friends at this school after all.

Turning his gaze away from the boy Luthais casually glanced around as new students began to flood the room, literally. He wasn’t one for crowds, though most of the mob seemed busy with the fallen girl. Thankfully, as that meant less hassle for him, should such a thing arose. However, in particular he noticed a small little boy, believing at first he was too young for this Academy. Though perhaps that meant he was a genius, or simply misplaced. The person in questioned seemed rather soft and gentle, which added to Luthais’s beliefs he were a child, though he was mistaken. By the looks of it he was rich and trying to seem older, much to Luthais’s amusement…

“Nonsense, it’s my job to help people. It‘s what butlers do, right?” Dail muttered in response to the girl as he sensed her slight embarrassment, though he himself felt none. Then again, he hadn’t given the situation that much though and only done what he believed to have been right, which for once, was actually right. “Your new here I take it, and rather rich by the looks of it.” It was always easy to tell the rich from the… rags, so to say. Not that you saw many poor folk falling around the place, compared to the wealth, such as now.

He noticed the other girl soon emerging from the crowd and briefly looked her over, assuming she too were new and of the same year as them. It seemed some nice people actually did exist in this Academy, and by the looks of this girl she was rich too, as well. “Pleased to meet you,” He said politely, before shifting his gaze back onto the original, pretty girl. “And you too, I am pleased to meet. I wouldn’t worry about all those people looking and laughing, as you’ll likely never speak to them anyway. Though in future watch where you step, alright?”

Ackley watched as students came and went, each keeping to their own and looking a little nervous, if not scared, a little. He, himself, was just getting over his rather agitated state while leaning back into his chair. For the most part no one seemed to bother him, then again maybe they didn’t notice him, sadly. Though occasionally a few did smile at him, but nothing more…

Independence inhaled, his breath coming in rather shakily, that is until a male came up behind him and just barely touched his shoulder. It spooked him just a bit, and he tilted his head up at the male to look at him carefully. A quiet mutter came from his lips in response, before breathing in and speaking a bit louder. "Thank you, I think. Mm, yeah, I'm new here, so I feel awkward. Yes, I know, but sometimes I can't really hold it back. It's one of the reasons I was sent here anyways; to learn to how to "fix" myself."

The male leaned back and sighed, dropping his legs back onto the ground with a clack and a wince. Scooping up his bag, he set it back on his lap and his gaze strayed up towards the ceiling; when was the freakin' person going to come in to explain everything? He was tired of waiting, and he was just generally tired of everything right now.

Again, mornings sucked.

Eliab

"Er alt i orden, Eliab?"

"I'm fine, Mom!" Young Othniel did not want to admit his actual emotions, most of the time. He primarily hides them. That in of itself can make him rough around the edges, which is part of the reason he does not feel he quite fits in at a social gathering.

"אתה בטוח?"

"Positive, Dad!" The truth is, Eliab felt nervous about his first day. School in Britian has stark differences from school in America. As if that were not enough, he was going to stay at a boarding school, meaning little time to spend with Davy, his floppy-eared Boston terrier. On top of it all, he hoped his assigned master or mistress will not abuse their power. A thousand questions entered his mind. Once he finished his breakfast and put on his black suit, tie, shoes, and blue shirt, the boy rushed to the garage door.

His mother, however, grabbed him by the shoulder. "Oh, no you don't, mister! If you bike on over, you'll break a sweat! You know that is in no way presentable, not to mention you'd have to comb your hair again! I'll drive you there, and don't worry about your bike! We'll take it with us!"

Charles

"Are you sure you don't want another muffin, sir?"

"Already ate two big ones, Kenneth. I'll be fine!" Charles sees the family chauffeur as a bit of a big brother. He is an only child, so you can see why. The two would often tease each other on a range of topics.

"Well, Master Aaron, you best hope they do not confuse you for a mistress in a master's clothing." They had to laugh at that joke. He had long enough hair, reaching his shoulders. It was not that big of a deal. It should be obvious he is a boy.

Eliab and Charles

The campus seemed almost empty by the time Eliab found a spot to chain lock his bike. That must have meant almost everyone else already entered the auditorium. Just as he turned around to head there, he bumped into a boy wearing a brown suit, violet tie, and black dress shoes. What a way to start the year!

"Sorry, sir! I was focused on my bike, for a moment!"

The other person just chuckled. "Relax, yank! I was half dazing for a bit!" He then noticed Eliab's bike. "That's one wicked set of wheels you got there!"

"Thanks!"

"Twenty-four gear?"

"Mm-hmm!"

"Sweet!"

Young Othniel slapped his forehead, before holding out his hand for a shake. "Oh! Where are my manners? My name's Eliab Othniel! Pleasure to meet you!"

The red-haired boy shook hands with him. "Charles Aaron! Feeling's mutual! Guess we should head to the auditorium now, eh?"

Once they got there, they saw a brown-haired girl being helped by a blonde one. What happened is beyond these two boys. Whatever the case, though, it must have been bad.

"You thinkin' what I'm thinkin', mate?" Charles gave a wink.

"Cheer her up?" Eliab could not help but adore the girl. Gosh, she is beautiful!

"Yep! And who would be better than a tough guy like you, watching her back?"

"I suppose..."

"Come on! Loosen up, mate! We got three years of this, might as well get comfortable!"

Eliab did not have much experience with girls, having spent most of his time reading and exercising. With a deep breath, he pushed up his prescription glasses and brought out a pear from his backpack. He then hid it behind his back, holding it in his right hand. He let Charles hold the pack before walking towards this damsel. By the time he came close enough, his left hand was on the back of his neck.

"Excuse me, miss!" Eliab could not help but turn his eyes to the side, blushing. "I did not see what happened, but..."

He could not think of anything else to say. All Eliab could do was laugh nervously, take a deep breath, and present the pear, his face downcast. Eliab, you moron! You know better than to make such feelings obvious! He could not gather the courage to raise his head after that.

Katherine lifted her head up as she heard a girl's voice. "Oh yes, I'm quite alright. Thank you for your concern." She said, her Finnish accent was light, but noticeable. She gave the girl a sweet smile, before returning the the young blonde male.

"You're a butler? I didn't notice that. With a nice suit like that, I thought you were rich." Kat was a bit shocked to find out that the male who helped her was a butler, but it wasn't in a bad way. "That obvious, huh? Ah yeah, I'm new." She nodded, with a smile, and a light chuckle. "Well, um, I guess I'm rather rich..." She wasn't really rich at all, her parents were.

"The pleasure is all mine." Katherine said as she did a little curtsy. "Yeah, most of the people laughing are probably rich, stuck-up, jerks." Kat muttered, slightly rolling her eyes. "I will, thank you for that advice." She returned to her sweet nature as she giggled a little.

Katherine then turned her head to another boy talking. She tilted her head to the side. Why is this boy blushing? She wondered, blinking a few times. Then the boy held up a pear. "What's this for?" She asked, not really knowing what she did to get such a gift. The whole time she spoke, her Finnish accent would leak out, sometimes barely obvious, others really obvious.

Way to go, idiot! Now, she'll think you're a creep! This was one of those moments when he wished he could just say what he had to say and get it over with. However, how could he admit that he likes her? They had only just met. He would look like a complete fool if he confessed in front of everybody. Then again, he cannot hide it forever. Once he heard a voice muttering form behind himself, Luthais promptly turned his gaze round and looked curiously as the lad below. “Fix yourself?” He questioned. “Really? Can’t see why someone like you would need fixing, I mean, your so weeeeell accustomed in the art to socializing,” Of course he was kidding, after witnessing the boys earlier outburst it was quite obvious as to what he meant. But then, of course, Luthais had other matters that needed attending. “Before I forget, you wouldn’t happen to know anyone in need of a butler? As sadly, my time has come to give in to these ways of the wealthy and offer my services. Not that I mind really, as it might be fun to have a master to chase around all day.”

Luthais’s eyes scouted around the room as he eyed up potential masters, though none seemed to stand out to him. As well as that, after seeing little mercy with the wealthy when it came to the damsel falling he really didn’t desire that kind of company. However, the short little boy caught his fancy, mostly as he seemed cute and… different. But that was just his personal thoughts.

“Yes, I am a butler. One up for hire as it would seem, as I too am new here,” Dail replied to the girl obediently. “And thank you, I try to look my best, even if I am a mere butler. However, for one being as rich you don’t seem as… bad, so to say, like many others who are clearly, as you put it, jerks.” He bowed a little before regaining his balance and eyeing up the boy who appeared not too long after. At first the lad seemed odd, mainly as he gave the girl a pear, which was something he had not seen before, or really ever. It was quite… unusual. The whole thing made Dail snigger a little.

“Boy, if you desire the girls affection then surely chocolates are more appropriate, along with flowers as well, if I am correct,” He muttered while adjusting his glasses a little. It was clear that this boy liked this girl, and in a way it was quite sweet, if not unexpected. “Aw, what a cute couple you two would make.”

Dail teased the two a little before remembering his manners, so to speak. “I never got your names, either of you,” He said quickly. “My name is Daileass Taveon, though Dail for short.”

It was all a little daunting…

Haruo
It took a bit for him to remember the most important part of the morning. Oh yeah. I need to find a butler or a maid... Does it matter which? There was a clump of people off to one side, but he couldn't see what the commotion was about. He decided he didn't care. Now then. He spotted a silver-haired boy. He seemed nice. He might be a butler. Either that or he knew someone that was one. Haru considered talking to the bot. Okay, I'm going to go up to him and say 'Hello there. My name is Haruo Sato. Do you know of any available butlers or maids?' Sounds good. Here we go... He walked as confidently as he could over to the boy. He took a deep breath, then said, "Eh... hi."

So close.

"Ah, well thank you." Katherine kindly accepted the pear. "Okay, whatever you say." She knew the boy was lying, but she didn't want to embarrass him.

"One up for hire? Oh yeah...That's right..." Kat's voice trailed off with her thoughts. "As bad? What does that suppose to mean?" She questioned, not taking the comment in offence, but rather that she wasn't paying attention, as her thoughts were somewhere else.

"I'm not really one for chocolate..." Katherine mentioned, than it hit her. "Odota! Mitä? Kiintymys?" Wait! What? Affection? She spoke in Finnish. "Pari? Me tuskin juuri tavannut!" A couple? We barely just met! When she's usually accused of something, she would speak in her native tongue. She was quite shocked by the assumption the blonde male made. How could he say that? They don't know each other.

Kat quickly regained herself, noticing a bit more people were focusing on her now. She took a deep breath, closing her eyes for a second, and said "Well, Daileass, my name is Katherine Prescott." She then saw some middle aged man walk into the Auditorium. He had medium jet black hair the went to his chin, and piercing emerald green eyes. "Well, I better find my seat. It was nice to meet all of you." She wasn't looking at them when she spoke, rather she was slightly glaring at the man who walked in.

Katherine twirled around, as her dress flared out a bit, then gracefully headed towards where the seats where. The sound of her 1 in heel mary jane shoes clicked against the glossy wooden flooring. She found a place on the third row, fourth seat in. Placing her bag-like backpack on the ground in front of her, she kept her attention on the tall man.

Well, that could have gone better! She saw right through that! Who was he kidding? Young women are adept at detecting such feelings for them. He lifted his head so not to seem rude. The last thing he needed was to seem ill-mannered, especially since he grew up in the South (that is, the southern United States), where if you did not use you manners, you were asking for trouble.

"Eliab Othniel," He held his hand out to shake. "Pleasure to meet you, Daileass! Good to see a fellow butler!"

Luthais blinked and turned to the small boy, of whom he had been admiring earlier. If anything it was surprising to see him so close, and even more surprising to see how small this little fellow actually was. In a way it was tempting to kneeling down to him, just for amusement, though Luthais managed to resist the temptation and simply smile. “Why hello there,” He said politely. “Ah, another new face here I take it? Must be your first time ever here, no doubt,” His eyes carefully watched over the boy and took in his more finer details, such as his rather large, and quite cute eyes. “No need to worry so much, not everyone in this place is scary, well, most aren’t give or take a few.” Luthais laughed a little.

“Oh, as I asked my delightful friend here, I was wondering if you knew anyone in need of a butler?” He asked keenly. “I have no mater nor mistress as of yet, though no doubt will at some point after today.”

He simply smiled and watched the young girl leave, before turning to face the boy. “Greetings, Eliab,” He said softly and took the boys hand firmly into his own. “Yes, quite. It is good to see you as well, though now I think we best be taking our seats, right?” Dail questioned and glanced at the rows of seats that were placed before them in an orderly fashion. “If I am correct to assume, you are new as well? Either way, let’s go and sit ourselves down before we get into trouble.” He chuckled briefly and smiled. Releasing the boys hand he turned and began to stroll off towards the seats, where he sat himself down and patiently awaited for other students to settle themselves down.

Haruo
He had just about had it with his mask of professionalism. He could only keep it up for so long without breaking. It was stressful, actually, having to act like an adult all the time just to get others to stop looking down on him. He'd much rather be taller, much taller and be able to act the way he wanted than be short and have to prove he wasn't a little kid.

“Oh, as I asked my delightful friend here, I was wondering if you knew anyone in need of a butler?” The boy inquired rather eagerly. “I have no mater nor mistress as of yet, though no doubt will at some point after today.”

Haruo's mask broke just then as a bright grin spread across his features. To hell with professionalism! Haru giggled and looked up at the boy. "As a matter of fact, I need a butler myself." His smile softened and he stuck out his hand to the boy. Laughing a little, he introduced himself. "My name is Haruo Sato, but you can just call me Haru. What's your name?" He tilted his head to the side and blinked, an nonverbal question mark.
