Setting
Katherine looked to Eliab as he spoke in Norwegian. "Why thank you." She smiled with a little head tilt. "Well, I only changed because the outfit I was previously wearing felt too stiff to dance in. Those two on the other hand..." She pointed to Roland and Camryn "They seemed like they dressed all out for it." Shrugging, the two dance instructors motioned for everyone to come together. "And besides, the joke wasn't that bad." She began walked to the center of room, giggling a little to herself.
"Gather around everyone! I am your dance instructor Laney and this is my partner Gregory." The female said, and then gestured to the man standing next to her. They shortly explained what the class was going to be about. "The first dance we'll be learning over the next few weeks will be the Waltz. Some of you may already know how to dance the waltz, others may not." Laney started the music, and then Gregory and her displayed the basic box step of the waltz, and described what needed to be done for both the female and male steps. Once finished, they told everyone to practice the steps alone then get a partner and try it.
Kat let out a very quiet sigh. She didn't think she was the best dancer, but the steps they were learning today seemed simple enough. Looking down at her feet, she began doing the box step, softly counting "1, 2, 3..." to herself. She groaned, feeling like she wasn't doing the steps right.

Roland Croisseux
After practicing the steps alone, Roland looked to Camryn and gave her his signature charming smile. "Cam, I'm going to ask that cute, yet familiar girl over there to be my dance partner for today. The short one. I hope you don't mind." With that, he walked over to the petite dark honey brown haired girl. "Excuse me miss, but may I ask you to be my partner for this fine evening?" He asked, slightly bowing and holding out his hand, waiting for an answer.
The girl turned around and looked up at the jet black haired male. She blinked then looked around the room real quick. "Umm...Sure..." Her voice was questioning, but nevertheless, she took his hand and he started to lead her in the waltz. It was quiet the scene, she was at least 8 inches shorter than him.
"I'm Roland. Might I ask what your name is, cute?" Roland asked the girl, who looked up at him. "Katherine. Pleasure to meet you, Roland." She gave him a light smile. "The pleasure is all mine." He winked at her, but then clenched his teeth, as Katherine stepped on his foot. She backed away, putting her hands over her lips. "I'm so sorry, I'm not a good dancer." She apologized, but he waved it off as nothing. "It's fine...Really." Thank god, she wasn't wearing heels. He thought, letting out an inaudible sigh.

Camryn Shaffer
Camryn rolled her eyes when Roland went off to as some girl to be his dance partner for the day. What was the whole point in wearing matching outfits if he wasn't going to dance with her? It wasn't like she was jealous, she'd been his maid ever since they were little. It just annoyed her how he just had to flirt with every girl he sees. If he keeps this up, he'll never keep a girl for more than a week. Looking around, she tried to find someone who could be her partner.

Sasha Pavlichenko
Sasha finished up the self-practice box steps of the Waltz. She sighed, wondering why they were learning such a dance. She looked at a few other students and decided to ask the dark blonde male, who she'd seen in a class of hers. She walked over to him and tapped his shoulder. "Excuse me...Would it be okay if you were my partner for today?" She asked him, slightly shy to do so. He was a tad bit shorter than her, maybe an inch or two, but hopefully it wasn't a big deal. She felt a little embarrassed as most guys were asked female students.
All of a sudden, he was tapped on the shoulder, which made him unclench his fist, switch his demeanor to calm, and turn around out of curiosity, spotting Sasha right behind him. She behaved in a somehwat timid manner when she said, "Excuse me...Would it be okay if you were my partner for today?"
The yankie recognized her from the cafeteria at lunch. She and Rebecca spoke to each other briefly, back there, which was how he first recognized her. There was nobody else in the room to partner up with, since his first option was obviously taken. So, he nodded towards the pink-haired girl while stating, "Sure." He realized how awkward the slightly taller girl must have felt having to ask, though he felt it best not to even mention it as they practiced the waltz together. "I'm Eliab, by the way. And, your name is?"
Sasha gave the dark blond haired boy a light smile, as they started to practice the waltz. When he introduced himself, she vaguely remembering the name being mentioned once by a girl she met in the cafeteria. "Ah, I'm Sasha. It's new to meet you Eliab." Every now and then she would glance down at her feet, making her she was doing the steps right. In her head, she was counting '1, 2, 3..' over and over again.

Camryn Shaffer
Camryn spotted two guys who didn't have partners yet. She looked around, but didn't see anyone else without a partner. The class seemed to have an uneven amount of students (genders too), she only hoped that there was another girl in the class. Maybe she forgot or something. She didn't know if she should ask one of the two boys or not. If she asked one of them, what would the other do? Sighing, Cam just kept practicing the steps on her own.

Katherine Prescott and Roland Croisseux
Katherine looked down at her feet. She knew it. She wasn't doing the steps right. The two instructors made it look so easy. Why can't she do it correctly? "I'm sorry..." She quietly said again, sighing.
Roland let out a short laugh and ruffled the girl's hair. "Hey, it's alright. Now, if you were wearing heels, that would be a different story." He smiled to Katherine, taking her hands, and began leading her through the waltz again.
Kat looked up at Roland and gave him a faint smile as he took her hands. This time she did the dance a little more smoothly, though she tripped over her own feet a few times.
"Just relax and follow my lead." Roland told Kat, his voice calming. She nodded and stopped counting, thinking that, that was the thing messing her up.
________
Dail and Luthais practiced their individual steps of the Waltz, seeming to have little difficulty after already having some experience from previous dance classes some years before. They had the basics pretty well learnt after some time rehearsing, though they weren’t perfect. When feeling confident enough with their dancing the boys turned to one another, opting to just dance with each other since there weren’t many girls in the class.
When they were about to start dancing Dail then noticed a girl still without a partner, which give him an idea. Whispering to Luthais he motioned for the other boy to follow him. The two tall males headed over to the pink-haired girl, though unsure of who she was, they thought she seemed nice enough and figured it would be worth a shot.
“Hey, wanna dance with us?” Luthais asked once close enough. “You look like you could use a partner, or two, and we seem to need a girl.”
She spied him with a girl, whose hair reminded her slightly of… Sasha. That was her name. Asami thought about it a moment, and, seeing someone that she vaguely recognized from lunch with Daileass and Katherine, she tentatively walked toward the group, stopping and hovering slightly near them, suddenly feeling awkward.
________
When looking around the room Dail noticed as Asami entered a few moments after, watching the girl casually as she made her way through the room towards the others. He could vaguely tell that she was somewhat nervous, though only because he had grown to know her ways and her uneasy nature.
“Hey Asami,” He called quietly as the girl came closer. “You want to join us three? We’re practicing the waltz and could use another girl, so your very welcome to join us.” He motioned for the girl to come closer to them, smiling softly as he did. Dail hadn’t expected to see Asami at Dance class though felt happier to see her there with them all.
"Ah, I'm Sasha. It's nice to meet you, Eliab."
"Feeling's mutual." Right when he said that, Eliab noticed Roland messing with Katherine's hair. That creep... Why does she tolerate that from him when they had only met today? What does she see in him? Even with the anger at Roland building inside, he maintained his calm demeanor, not an inch of his face betraying that facade. He decided to keep his mind occupied with conversation and the waltz practice, if only to keep from showing anger towards the black-haired boy.
"Well, Sasha, I'll bet you noticed a bit of how impulsive my sister, Rebecca, can be, when you talked to her during lunch." Eliab's laugh was truthfully genuine at the thought of it. "Trust me, she can be very instinctive. Mischevious, too."
Camryn turned around, seeing the two tall boys that she was going to ask one to be her partner. When the white haired one asked if she wanted to dance with them. She was about to answer, but then the blonde one walked away to some girl who just entered the class. "Well, it looks like your friend found himself a partner. I'm guessing that makes you mine for today?" She looked at him, a light smile on her lips.
Once they were in the right position and began dancing, Cam asked. "What's your name by the way? I'm Camryn." She voice was elegant and rather soothing.

Sasha Pavlichenko
Sasha let out a light laugh. "Yeah she does seem rather spontaneous, but in a fun way." She smiled, doing the waltz rather fine. When she looked at Eliab, she could kind of tell something was up with him. So too keep the conversation going, she asked "Something the matter? I get a feeling that something is bothering you." She didn't want to press him too much on the issue, but he did seem a bit tense as they were dancing.

Roland Croisseux and Katherine Prescott
Roland stopped dancing and looked down at Katherine. "Hey Katherine, want to take a break? We still have about..." He checked his watched, then continued "About 15 minutes left of class."
Stopping after Roland, Katherine glanced up. "Um, sure. I'll be right back than. Going to get some water." She smiled, walking off to were she left her bag. She'd brought two water bottles just in case she needed more than one, but she probably wouldn't.
Roland stretched his arms up above his head and took a deep breath through his nose and let it out through his mouth. "What a sweet girl...She reminds me of someone..." He muttered to himself, as he went to get his own water bottle.
"I... I'd like to. The headmaster suggested that I do this as well, so..." She nodded, looking at the other girl and the boy that she vaguely remembered. "I'm sorry... Was I interrupting something?" She asked, embarrassed that she might have pulled Daileass away from one of his friends.
“Yep. Seems that way.” Luthais chuckled in agreement.
As the pair began dancing, and after the pink-haired girl gave her name, Luthais replied, “That’s a nice name, I’m Luthais. I don‘t think I‘ve saw you about before, are you new to this Academy perhaps?” He asked casually, in attempt to get to know the girl better. “I noticed you came with that other guy, is he your master?” Luthais just assumed the girl to be the other boys maid, though the thought of them being friends also crossed his mind briefly.
________
Daileass Taveon
Dail shook his head a little. “Don’t worry your not interrupting.” He reassured the girl, before glancing around the room. “Actually, your timing couldn’t have been better. I need a partner to dance with, you see, and well…” Pausing, Dail focused back onto the girl before continuing, “Would you like to be my dance partner? If your unsure of how to do the waltz I can show you, if you want?”
The boy hoped he hadn’t made things between them awkward, though knowing Asami, Dail tried to keep things as easy as he could. “I mean only if you want to, that is.” He said quietly.
So, with this, she attempted a wobbly smile, an action she was not used to, and nodded her head. "I'm afraid I don't know how, but... I would enjoy it..."
“That’s great.” Dail smiled contently knowing the girl approved, his momentarily doubt fading. “I mean, I can show you the steps for the Waltz easily enough.” Taking a step closer to the girl he paused for a moment, seemingly slightly hesitant in his approach towards Asami, though keen nevertheless. When slowly reaching for one of her hands he smiled to the girl, quietly linking their hands together as he did, before gently placing her other hand against his shoulder and standing in the traditional Waltz position.
“I’ll lead and you follow, alright?” He said, smiling, as they began to practice the Waltz, making sure to move slowly and at the girls own pace. “If I’m moving too fast then just let me know, and if… things get uncomfortable then again, let me know.” He added, somewhat sheepishly.
"Daileass...?" She tentatively began. "Where are you from?"
She had chosen an easy question. However, she was truly curious. She was simply asking because she felt it would be expected of her or she felt obliged to. She realized this, as well, and, for the first time in a long time, felt a bit ashamed of her selfishness.
“Where am I from?” Dail repeated, whilst thinking over the question given to him. “Well, I originally come from Glasgow, in Scotland, since that was where I was born and spent a period of my life in,” He answered the girl softly. “When I was about seven I went to live with my grandfather who lives down here, in London, and therefore why I'm attending this Academy. Although, eventually the rest of my family moved down here too, and now we all live in London.”
He hoped that answered her question, since he wasn’t use to really explaining himself that often, and then thought to return the inquiry with one of his own. “I have an older brother and sister, but we don’t live together. Do you have any siblings, Asami?”
"Why don't you live with them...? And why did you go to live with your grandfather?" she asked. She would have been more careful with her words, but she could not find the words to do so. She was unused to talking with others, of course, and usually came off as colder, or uncaring when she did. This time, she didn't wish for Daileass to go away, so she would not be as coarse as she sometimes was. Or she would try.
Dail looked to the girl curiously. “Your grandmother use to live with you? What happened?” Only a moment had passed before the boy quietly realized the likely possibility, and only then did he decide to not press the topic further in fear of upsetting the girl. As they danced, Dail focused on his movements carefully, and briefly, before hearing Asami speak once more and quickly turned his focus back onto the girl.
“When I was young my parents weren’t really coping at the time, eventually leading to them separating, which was the main reason for me living with my grandfather,” He answered, simply. “At the moment, currently, my sister lives with my father, while my brother lives with my mother. I, however, live with my grandfather though do visit my mother often, you see... It‘s an unusual set up but I learn to live with it.”
Sighing, Dail felt silent momentarily and stared down towards the girl in front of him, feeling unsure of what to say just then, before eventually continuing with, “So... what is it exactly that your parents do for a living?”
Sasha nodded and said, "Yeah, just because your facial expression doesn't show it, your body movement does." She quickly glance around at the three tall males in the room. The one with black hair seemed to be the one Eliab was probably talking about. "Hehe, you like her." She smiled to him, as they kept dancing.
"Yes, I am from Russia." Upon hearing why she's in England, Sasha stopped momentarily, then uttered a quiet "Sorry" and started dancing again. "Well, I uh...I just needed to um...get away from home..." Her heart ached, just recalling the memory still pains her. "I'm sorry...I, I don't want to talk about it...At least, not right now..." In her voice, it showed that whatever the reason she was in England for, really saddened her. She gave her head a light shake before looking back up at Eliab. "Anyways, what about yourself? You don't sound at all like you're from around here."

Camryn Shaffer
Camryn was quiet for a moment, she wasn't really good at talking with other people. "No, I'm not new. I'm the girl who sits in the back of class that nobody notices." She told Luthais, with a small sigh. "Ah, yes. Roland Croisseux, son of the Headmaster. He's quite a pain in the ass...but he's my master, I shouldn't be saying that." She let out an oh so quiet laugh. Somehow, she felt a lot more relax talking to him that before.
"Me? Well, my parents received jobs in Brittain, specifically here, in London. So, the family moved closer to my mom and dad's workplaces as a matter of convenience. Rebecca and I arrived from Knoxville, Tennessee, back at the United States. Although, we were born in Trondheim, Norway."
