Eliab nodded when asked if Katherine will see him around. "Yep!" He enjoyed the fact she appreciated his art. The yankie was afriad it could not match up to artists who draw similar scenery professionally. As he picked up his backpack, he went over to Charles.

"Alright, love birds!" Eliab had a mischevious grin on his face. "Class will start, soon, so I think it's time we head on over!"

Charles let go of Anna to check his watch. "Ah, crud! You're right, mate!"

Dail blinked somewhat confused when hearing what Asami had said. “Ehh… Friends are people who you rely on, I suppose, when thinking about it,” He replied whilst still thinking over his answer. “I mean, to me, friends are people who like me and accept me for who I am. I can rely on them, and even if I upset them they are still there for me, as I am for them. Understand?” The blonde male asked, a little curious and hopeful she understood him, somewhat.

“Like us, for instance.” He continued shortly after, assuming they were friends. After all why wouldn’t they be? So far everything was going good between them all, so was there any reason they couldn’t be friends? “We’re friends, right?” Dail asked a moment before noticing some nearby students heading off, presumably to their classes when thinking about it and how much time had passed.

“Oh, well, I guess it’s class time.” Looking around some more the butler gave a dull sigh. “Yep, probably is. Do you know where your going for your next class? I should likely check on Katherine before I head off, see if she knows where she’s going.”

“My thought exactly,” The boy grinned a little to the idea. “With my camera I can record all sorts of things, it’s practically memories in the making,” Pausing to glance about the boy made note of how students were beginning to leave the garden, which could possibly mean lunchtime was nearing it’s end. “Well, I guess my camera can wait for a bit. I’d much rather be on time to class, you know,” Looking to the girl he placed away his prized object before hopping off the bench. “Anyhow, we have cooking next. Now that’s something to get a move on for!”

Laughing a little Ackley gathered up his things and threw whatever leftovers into the nearby bin. Once done he turned to his maid with a content smile, “Ready to go?”

Asami blushed slightly. Friends? So… Was it really that easy to make friends? If Dail already considered her his friend when she had known him for only… What, a day? It was very quick to decide that she was someone’s friend, especially since she hadn’t really had a friend before…

“U-um… Yeah… I guess we’re friends…” she managed to stutter out, still blushing.

Dail seemed to throw it out fairly nonchalantly, for, as Asami was still stuck on the fact that she had a friend, he was worrying about getting to class. Asami looked up sharply.

“Time for class? Oh… Ah, I think I have… French 2.” She said as she finally managed to find the folded up schedule in her bag. It wasn’t very exciting. She already knew a lot of French, as well as Japanese and English. She didn’t have much to do before she came to this school besides read, draw and take classes. “What do you have…?”

Rebecca felt a little relived, on the inside. She did not have to worry about photos, for now. The mention of cooking, however, peeked her attention. She wanted that class on her schedule so she could one day start a bakery. Her inspiration came from a friend, back in Knoxville, who would always bring bread or pastry each Saturday and Sunday for church that he baked himself. The maid stood up in enthusiasm.

"You bet, I'm ready!"

Katherine Prescott

Katherine headed off down the path she saw Daileass and Asami take earlier and not a moment to soon when she spotted them a head. "Hey, Daileass I'm going to head to my next class now." She told him him, checking the time on her phone. "You guys better get going, class will begin shortly." She turned around, but before heading to class she looked over her shoulder, at Dail. "By the way, I have Chemistry, then French and Math. So, I guess I'll call you after school or I can just meet you in the gym for Dance." She glanced at Asami and smiled, before walking back down the path to the Academy building to get to class.

Sasha Pavlichenko

Upon hearing the bell, which indicated that lunch was over, Sasha began heading back to the Academy building. Her next class was English. She hoped that they won't do anything in class since it was just the first day of school. It only took a few minutes to get inside the school. She headed up the stairs to the third floor, where the English classes are located.

Charles hugged Anna again and said, "Well, sweetie, I guess we need to get going." After kissing her again, he went with Eliab back to the building.

The yankie butler nudged his master playfully as they walked on over. "Take it easy, there, tiger! Sheesh! Don't you think it was a bit rash?"

The half-Scotsman shrugged. "I don't know what you're talking about!"

---

Agatha heard the Bell ring. "Aw, It's time to head to class!" She held Andrew's hand and said to him with a smile, "Well, let's go, silly!"

"Bye!" Anna squeaked, then snatched up her things and went sprinting off to find her brother and show him her new hair cut. He was going to flip. It would be so awesome!

Andrew smiled and nodded, beginning to walk towards his next class. He wondered vaguely where his sister might be as he saw a girl with short-cropped blonde searching about a little ways away from them. "So...were you serious about me meeting your Yia Yia?" Andrew piped up, "Not that I don't want to, I just...don't make the best first impressions."

Once inside, Charles asked his butler Eliab, "Where do you have to go from here?"

"Music."

The half-Scotsman snapped his fingers. "Dang. I have to go to Biology. That means we have two classes before we're in the same one." Walking off, he called out, "Well, mate, see you in PE!"

---

Agatha nodded. "Of course I'm serious, Andrew!" Her eyes sparkled at the thought. "Don't worry! She has seen plenty of people! I seriously doubt she'd be the least bit surprised!" She tried to hold back laughter, barely succeeding. She knew he was nervous, and was trying to lighten the mood and cheer him up.

Right when she was about to add anything further, the Grecian noticed a blonde girl heading in their direction. She realized who it was immediately. Giving a wave, Agatha said, "Hi, Anna!"

"That can't be Anna," Andrew murmured, she doesn't have long enough..." he trailed off, staring closer at the blonde, his jaw dropping open. Her hair. Where was all her hair?! Was she out of her mind, what had she done with her hair? Andrew just gaped, unmoving, as Anna-Beth trotted over to the pair, smiling gently.

"Hullo, Agatha, Andrew. How was your lunch?" she tittered conversationally, smiling and ignoring her brother's gaze. She liked her short hair, she found it fitting, and a bit daring. Before, it had been so long that she had sometimes sat on it when she wasn't paying attention, causing a weird jerking movement when she tried to stand. Now...now she felt both closer and further from her twin. She prayed he would understand.

"Oh, we weren't hungry. We walked in the hallways instead." Agatha hugged Andrew tightly from behind. "I was just telling Andrew it would be wonderful if you two came with me to meet Yia Yia! She won't bite, I promise!" This more cheerful side to the Grecian was not something that was seen since her parents died. It usually came out when she was with family, but being with Andrew had the same effect, now.

"You two," Anna-Beth smiled, "are adorable. And I'd love to meet her, we both would, I know it!" With a big smile, she turned to her twin, who was oddly silent, staring at her, his face an odd, unreadable mix of emotions. The pair stared at each other for a while, in silence, then grinned widely, Andrew suddenly laughing and nodding his head.

"Yeah, yeah, I'd love to meet your Yia Yia," Andrew snickered, looking down at the small Grecian and ruffling her hair slightly, "it'll be awesome."

Agatha leaned up and kiss Andrew on the cheek. Giggling, she chirped, "Well, we don't want to be late for class, do we?" She was excited about her Yia Yia meeting the twins. She knew they would be treated well in the house. There was much love in her family, it often tumbled out. Nobody would be disappointed.

"Yes we do," Andrew groaned, synonymous with his sister's happy chirp of, "Not at all!" They looked at each other and smiled, tense. There was going to be a conversation soon, they both knew. But now was not the time. Taking Agatha's free hand, then stretching to get her brother's free hand, Anna tugged the pair forward, awkwardly prancing before them like a show pony.

Agatha did not like how tense they were. Somehow, she knew matters would grow worse once the conversation between the twins got started. All that tension over a haircut? What's wrong with it? I think it's pretty, though I probably should not mention that to Andrew. "Are you okay?" The Grecian asked, concerned.

"Parents," they both sighed at the same time, glancing at each other and closing their eyes. Anna-Beth smiled, trying to look brave.

"Mother would not approve of this. Neither would Daddy. And there's other worries, as well...I'm starting to wake up to that reality." She shook her head fiercely, as though to force the thoughts from her head. "It's not a big deal, really, don't worry."

Andrew sneered and frowned. "They'll lose their minds and Anna will cry and it'll be a big ugly mess."

"All because of a haircut?" Agatha could not understand why shorter hair would be a problem. Having to let it grow out so long meant a harder time managing it, for one thing, which was why the Grecian usually kept her hair shoulder-length. "Why would they lose their minds over it? What's wrong with short hair?" She picked up a strand of her brown hair. "I mean, you don't mind how my hair looks, Andrew, so where's the problem with Anna's hair?"

Daileass Taveon

Daileass nodded upon hearing his mistress tell him she was going to class before him. "Don't get lost." He joked, as Katherine stuck her tongue out at him and turned around. "Just meet my in the gym." He said, watching his mistress walk away. Dail turned his attention back to Asami. "I have music next. Why don't we start heading to class." He casually said and started walking. He looked over his shoulder to make sure she was following him.

Katherine Prescott

Once Katherine entered the Academy building, she headed up the stairs to the 2nd floor. Chemistry, it seemed like it would be a fun class. Looking at her locator, she needed to find room 212. Finding the classroom fairly quick, she went inside and saw that almost all the seats were taken. The only seats left were either in the very front in the middle or far in the back corner. Darn. Kat wanted to sit by the window. Sighing, she decided to take the front seat. The other students in the class seemed to be a little rowdy, maybe because it was right after lunch. Who knows. She placed her bag next to her seat and sat down.

Noticing the teacher had yet came into class, Kat pulled out her sketchbook and a pencil. She flipped through the pages, seeing if there was any unfinished drawings she'd like to complete. After nothing interest her, she turned to a new page and began a new sketch. At first she thought about drawing a bird, but then it started to become an abstract bird.

Sasha Pavlichenko

Sasha found her classroom, room 310. She took the first seat she saw open, in the back of the class, one row away from the window. She had been munching on a small bag of potato chips. Once the teacher entered the classroom, he wrote stuff on the bored and thinking that it might be important to know, she took her notebook out and a blue pen. Then she copied down what was on the board, while eating her chips.

Eliab made it to the music room without much a problem. He figured he might be able to learn new instruments. Not that the guitar was not fun, but it never hurt to learn another. Plus, The yankie loved to sing, another reason he chose the class.

As he looked around, he saw posters for auditions for two musicals, one in the winter, the other in the spring. One of which sparked his interest, "West Side Story". Who would have guessed that the musical based on one of his favorite movies to watch would even be the inspiration for a school musical in England, since the setting of the whole thing was actually in New York, back in the United States? How were they going to pull off the students playing the characters, the accents being so different from Briitish ones, almost half of those roles involving people of Puerto Rican descent?

Although, now that he thought about it, this academy had people from all over the world. Chances were, it all could be pulled off, with the right cast of actors and actresses. Plus, he thought he could actually make a good Riff. He thought about playing Tony, yet figured he could not do that role any justice. Plus, he imagined Rebecca would want to play Maria, and knew she would think it weird to have to be paired up with him on stage, being siblings and all. Eliab did not like that idea, either, because, to be honest, pretending to kiss his own sister during the one scene where Tony and Maria meet at the dance just sounded gross. Thinking it over, he knew he would settle for the role of Riff, he was mischevious enough.

All in all, the yankie liked the music classroom. He even wondered if, when he takes it again as an after school class, that Katherine would be in here. The odds appeared unlikely, but he could hope, right?

---

Charles found the Biology room without much difficulty. The reason for taking it was simple: agriculture often involved encountering some of the wildlife nearby, in certain areas of the world. To be better prepared for finding a solution best for both agriculture and nature when he takes over his mother's landscape business, the half-Scotsman thought this class would be worth it for the basics. Plus, Biology also involved plant life, another reason he chose the class. Overall, Charles figured it would be beneficial, whatever he learned here would be.

"To our parents, outer appearance is...everything. I should have short hair, and Anna should have long hair. We should only call each other our full names in public, no nicknames, Anna-Beth and Andrew, that's it. We're supposed to wear fitted, nice clothing. No wrinkles, or stains, not too big, not too small." Andrew sighed and shook his head.

"According to my mother, the longer my hair gets, the more 'regal' I appear, and the more people will respect me and my family. It's the same reason I have to be skinny, and know basic women's duties: cooking, sewing, music, etcetera."

"And I should be strong. Classic man. It's really ridiculous, the things that we've had jammed down our throats since childhood. I heard our mother comment once how it'd be more difficult to marry off Anna, since she has the eye injury."

Agatha's eyes widened in disbelief as she said under her breath, "Come heartless! Di che meravigliarsi c' sono amore nella loro famiglia!" How heartless! It's no wonder there is no love in their family! It was a habit of hers, to speak in Italian whenever she talked to herself. The Grecian just stood there, motionless for a moment, trying to sink in what the twins just told her. It explained why Andrew did not want Agatha to tell anyone about his more sensitive side, as well as his reaction to Anna-Beth having short hair.

Once she regained movement, Agatha began to walk again, holding Andrew's hand. She remained silent for much of the stroll down the halls. What was told to her was completely unexpected. None of it made sense, at all. It was not until much later that her speech returned to her, somewhat. "I..." Oddly enough, there was nothing she could say. The best she could come up with was holding onto Andrew a little bit with both arms, trying her best to keep calm. Her eyes made it obvious that she was upset by how the twins were being treated by their parents.

"Don't worry so much," Anna-Beth smiled, "it's the usual sort of thing for us. We always figured that every family of high station was like ours, it wasn't until recently we realised we were mistaken."

Andrew squeezed Agatha's hand and nodded. "It's true. There's nothing to be done about it, it's just life. That's why I'm always so angry about my family, why I keep my hair this messy, why I do...nearly everything I do. I've always been the black sheep, and Anna was the one that kept everything held together."

"English, I think," Anna-Beth smiled, then blinked at her brother. "Und nach dem, deutsch!" And after that, German!
