Felicity Marx

Felicity rolled over onto her stomach, grumbling as she did. The sun through the sliding door was warm on her back. It brought a soft smile to her face. She rolled onto her back and slowly opened her eyes. The ceiling of the room was painted like the sky.
"Where am I?" she muttered to herself in a thick Australian accent.{i]Wait, that goddess was real? SWEET!!!![/i] She sat up slowly and raised her arms high above her head in a stretch. She sat on the bed studying the room. It was like someone had gone into her subconscious and taken her dream room and made it real. The carpet was the color of the sand outside. The walls were painted like the ocean. The bed frame was surfboards. There was a bamboo wardrobe in the corner with a dresser next to it. There was a surfboard rack on the wall with several different colored surf boards.

Felicity stood up slowly. The carpet felt like sand in between her bare feet. She smiled to herself as she sauntered over to the sliding glass door. The ocean was a clear, blue color. She opened it and a warm breeze lifted her hair off of her shoulder. An itch to get out in the water and surf came over her. She walked over to the wardrobe and opened it. After examining the collection of dresses and skirts. She picked out a simple white dress. She laid it out on the bed and went to the dresser. She opened it and pulled out a bright blue and green bikini. She stripped out of her clothes and pulled on the outfit she had picked out. I wonder if there is anybody else here. She picked her clothes up and threw them on the bed. She decided to go explore the house. There was plenty of time to go surfing later. She slowly opened her door. Her name was spelled out in surf boards. She smiled. She examined the empty hallway.

She spotted a younger girl down the hallway.
"'Scuse me," she called, jogging slightly to catch up with the girl. Once she caught up with her, she flashed the girl a grin.
"D'you have any idear of where we are?"

His eyes began to flutter in the soft humid breeze.
After a few seconds, his eyes finally opened all the way......to see bright blue skies, with only a few sets of clouds, staring down at him.

"What the....." Shawn wonder aloud to himself, completely bewildered.
The last thing the exhausted recruit remembered was being fitted into his uniform, and then falling asleep inside his barracks in that said uniform.
But now here he lay......in what felt like sand, underneath a brilliantly blue sky.

"Dreaming mate, you're just dreamin" he whispered, before sitting up.

Ahead of him was the Ocean....it was transparently clear, and a mixed shade of bright green and blue, like the waters off the coast of Florida, or in the Caribbean. "Well then, it's official......i'm definitely dreaming, because these sure aren't the waters of jolly ol' England"

Shawn sighed and removed his hat, so that he could run his fingers through his combed back hair, before swiftly popping to his feet, and then brushing the sand off the front and back of his blue and white dress uniform

"Dreaming myself onto such a beautiful scene........fully dressed as such, eh? You've gotta be kidding......"

He'd put his hat back atop his head, and walk along the shoreline for several minutes, before finally spotting a grand mansion a hundred or so yards inland, and making his way towards it.

"That letter i signed......." he said to himself as he cautiously made his way up towards the large front doors.
Shawn would knock loudly twice, but after receiving no response, the young man would decide to just try his hand at opening the doors himself.

Much to his surprise, they were unlocked, and so he made his way in & shut the door behind him.

The entrance lobby was grand.......the floor made of marble, the walls at LEAST seventeen feet high, and the luxurious stone staircase in front of him was gigantic........but to Shawn, it was only somewhat impressive, seeing as how his mothers status had garnered him entrance into places in his country FAR grander.

"The woman......or goddess i should say, was real?" he thought, before walking to the foot of the staircase.
He wouldn't make it more than a step or two up before hearing a womans voice call out - causing him to stop in his tracks, and look up to the top of the staircase.....
Shawn could tell there would be a choice to go either left or right once he reached the top of the staircase, going to two different wings he guessed...........but what he wasn't sure of, was which way the womans voice came from. So after finally walking up to the top of the staircase he decided to call out'; "Ello? Is.....someone there?", before taking his hat off and placing it under his arm........just in time to hear another womans voice.

Ivy Park

Ivy jumped as Felicity neared her with her obvious Australian accent. She smiled warmly hoping to make a good first impression to the taller blonde woman. Before she could give her answer another girl closer to her age approached with bright red hair and the same question. "Hey, if you guys went through the same encounter with a pretty goddess like me, I'm guessing we're on an island. In the middle of no where. Inside, as I can see, a gorgous mansion," she looked around on the high ceilings and glamourous painted walls. "If I remember correctly, we're here to find our true love?" She wrinkled her nose cutely and shrugged her shoulders. "I really hope you understand who, what, and why I'm about, because I would be really embarrassed if I sounded insane right now," she giggled a little really meaning her words.

Someone else, a man, called from down the staircase. Ivy instinctively bent down her head to look. A man with blonde hair and gorgous serious looking eyes appeared. The color drained from her face. "Oppa*?," she whispered to herself noticing how much the man resembled her older brother, Blake, who died two years prior. "Blake?" she cried and flung herself down the short hallway. Throwing her small five foot four inch body towards the tall six foot man. She wrapped her arms around his neck like a child. Suddenly she realized he couldn't possibly be her dead brother. She watched him get buried. Ivy let go and dropped to the ground like a stone and cowarded a few inches away. Rubbing her foot aganist her ankle, she studdered to apologize, "I- I- I'm sorry... I did-didn't mean to d-do that. You lo-look like my b-brother. I- I-I'm sorry," she was close to tears. The water threatened to burst from her eyes. Even now she still hadn't forgotten or gotten over his death. Ivy was always a shipwreck when the thought really went into his brain.

*Oppa means older brother in Korean

It wasn't long before an additional young woman could be heard. She yelled out "Blake!", before running towards Shawn.
He wanted to leap out of the way, but knowing the stairs were behind him he instead let the short & small-framed girl leap into his chest, and wrap her arms around his neck.
"Well gee, i know she said i was suppose to find love here, but that was a tad bit quick........" he whispered jokingly, before the woman suddenly let go of him, and began to back up, obviously embarrassed.
"I- I- I'm sorry... I did-didn't mean to d-do that. You lo-look like my b-brother. I- I-I'm sorry...." she muttered, before her eyes began to water.

Shawn quickly glanced over at the other two girls, before stepping towards the one in front of him who was close to tears.
"It's quite fine luv....really." he said with a warm smile. "My dog has hugged me tighter, and at least you didn't knock me down the stairs in the process, like he would of......"
He had hoped his attempt at a joke would make the girl lighten up a bit, perhaps smile, as he pulled out a handkerchief from his jackets left breast pocket and held it out towards her. "Here....don't wish to ruin such a pretty dress with tears, hmm?" he whispered, his British accent clearly evident the more he talked.......
He wasn't exactly sure why thinking she had seen her brother would make the girl cry, but he decided against asking, afraid it would upset her more........and instead turned his head in the direction of the other girls several yards away, and nodded, as if to say "hello".

Dark chocolate brown orbs squinted as the sun shone upon the young girl's face. 'Is it morning already?' Alysha thought te herself, yawning and stretching her arms in the process. She rubbed her eyes and got of the bed, walking straight forward. 'Ow!' Alysha had bumped into a solid object she didn't recognize. 'Where's my closet? My dresser isn't supposed to be here.' She opened her eyes to get a better look at her surroundings.
It was fairly large room and had a view of a sunset on one side of the wall, and the sunrise on the other. The other two walls were a view of a city at night and day time. There was a queen sized bed with a a sunny hill on the covers. She didn't bother examining the other objects in the room since all the scenery was making her light headed. Not to mention, she also had a huge view of a quite beautiful beach.

'Where am I?' Too tired to think at the moment, Alysha shrugged the though off and made her way towards the closet, she found a section of summer dresses and skirts. She shook her head and looked through the other side of the closet. She decided to wear a plain yellow tee with a purple "I love New York" hoodie and denim shorts. It was a nice day and she didn't want to be too hot. Slipping on a pair of purple sandals, she walked out the door tying her hair in a high pony tail.

She saw three other girls in the hallway but one of them rushed to another direction. She silently walked up to the other two girls to greet them. "G-good morning." she stuttered a she fiddled with her fingers, somewhat nervous about talking to two complete strangers.

Ivy Park

Ivy held back the tears and forced a shy smile to appear on her small face at Shawn's light hearted joke. She took the hankerchief and tried her best to wipe her eyes and not smudge her eyeliner. "Thanks," she mumbled returning the article to the handsome blonde who later introduced himself as Shawn. She grinned up at him pushing the sad emotions about her brother. Grateful that he hadn't asked her any questions about her brother she bowed to him slightly as a formal greeting, out of respect mostly. "Hello, Shawn, Xeina," she smiled and turned around to notice another Asian girl behind the taller blonde woman with the accent. And then another blonde boy came up the stairs. She looked at him and smiled just in time for Shawn to make his statement about a "Willy".

Ivy covered her mouth as a giggle came on. She was still laughing when she spoke next. "My name is Ivy, by the way. And I got a letter contract thing from the divine goddess of love?" She shrugged her shoulders and stick her hands out in that body language that meant 'I don't know. i guess so.' She looked back at the blonde woman and the Asian girl watching their reactions. Turning her attention back to Shawn, Xeina, and the new boy, she added, "She made me sign a contract to come here. I hope you know what I'm talking about," She bounced on the balls of her feet slightly. Suddenly, her stomach made an embarrassing grumbling noise. It churned signalling her lack of food. "Hehe," she muttered while crossing her arms over her stomach.
