Cas has a long scar on his forehead from tripping and cutting it on the edge of a stage at a concert when he was 13 that he covers with his bangs. It goes from his hair line to just above his eyebrow.

Cas has a cute, somewhat effeminate look about him that makes him seem younger than he actually is. He has medium length blonde hair that is oftentimes very messy due to his apparent inability to comb it, and he usually just tames it by pinning the bangs down on one side and, if it get's really bad, wearing a hat to cover it up. He's tall and lightly muscled from running track for his school for a few years. He tends to dress somewhat stylish, though not because of any interest in fashion, his mother is a fashion major and often buys and sends him clothes despite him moving to his own apartment.
