History
At times, when two parents argue so much, they tend to forget their duties as parents. Jesse was sixteen when she started the parental role. Abby was only three years old when their parents started their bicker and banter. They neglected the sisters and it took some time for Jessica to realize she had to hold in her thoughts, her anger, and her opinions on how they were acting. Jesse learned to cook at a young age for herself, then learned to take care of a child when her sister came into the picture. She cleaned the house, cooked meals big enough for two and for left overs in the morning. She got Abby ready for the day and for night when it was time to bed. She played Mom for a good amount of time. The parent’s arguments used to get so loud that Jesse needed time alone and would leave her sleeping sister to go for a bit of a run. During this outing, Jesse would ponder over the many facts that Abby was all she had, and she was all that Abby had in life. Separation between the two would be more than heartbreaking.
And so it was. It was much more than heartbreaking. It wasn’t that long ago that the Boone family received that awful letter and Jessica had to scream to get her parent’s attention. She shouted at her father that it was his fault that she was randomly chosen, screamed at her mother because she had no one else to blame. Her anger rose and Jessica had to take off before she took her anger out on someone else, someone who didn’t deserve it.
She left for a few long hours, took off toward the outskirts of town and climbed the tallest of buildings. She did free running mostly that way, darting across roof tops and lunging over gaps. She felt free that way; she was free to break, to cry, to release the anger that she held so tightly. When she came back, she spent a few days with her sister and had to watch her go.
A vow was made that day. She was going to rescue her sister with a bit of help from her friends. If they were truly considered friends, she wasn’t quite sure. They got along fairly well. Aiden, she had met back at school, helping him carrying hard drives and computer necessities became a usual routine. Owl on the other hand, it took her a bit to get used to him, but she liked having him around.
Currently, Jesse is focusing most of her attention on getting her sister back.
People She's Come To Love and or To Hate
Aiden: Jessica met him a back at the school, she helped carry some equipment and in turn, stolen some techy junk to give to him. She's concidered him a friend, though they have their moments of discomfort.
Owl: She's met him through Aiden. They talk about different things and actually have real conversations. She's somewhat trusting him but it's more of a trial run.
Bright: No. Sorry, but no. This man, she cannot stand. Pure hatred for he had some hand in taking her sister from him. He was lucky enough she didn't go after him with a knife. She swore if he so touches his sister...she'd have his head.
