"To be independent persons, to have the freedom to choose what we wish to pursue, such is the belief of our fine kingdom. While many other leaders may strive to rule with an iron fist or with a religious agenda, my aim is to create a haven where one can be defined by what they might be, and not the things in which they do. Where one can be, well, free. After all, I ask you, what are we? We are called 'Beings' in nature, not 'Doings'. And while true freedom cannot exist, as there must always be laws and rules in order to protect the small bits of freedom we can grasp, we strive for that sort of independence. If nothing more than to be able to explore endless possibilities, to lust after the answers of the world, to search and find our purpose, so that we may be able to find our place."

Is this chill enough it feels too formal ahhhhhh-Excerpt from Verity Vanagloria's Inauguration Speech

The ability to make her stand out among a crowd. Verity can manipulate her presence, rather the way in which people perceive her, to make her more apparent to a crowd of people. Similar to how the a red raft would stand out sailing on the ocean. She's able to make herself more noticeable and to seemingly force people to turn their attention to her, even if for just a moment.

The ability to make her blend in with the crowd. Verity can also manipulate her presence, how people perceive her, to make herself seemingly vanish. Not complete invisibility, but enough to make the person treat her as though she weren't there. She's able to make herself less noticeable and almost be as though she were a ghost. Though it has varying levels of effectiveness.

Using her ability is very taxing, prolonged use or uses in succession create a strain on her mind and body. Using her ability oftentimes is followed by a lengthy nap. When trying to attract people's gazes with her ability, there is no adjusting to what degree people will notice her. It's like turning on a lightbulb in the middle of a dark room. if you do it, anyone who can see you, will see you. For the case of attempting to blend in, how well she can blend in depends on various factors. Verity doesn't make herself invisible or anything of that sort. To put it simply, it's like she's hiding in your blindspot. If you are attentive enough, or are focussing hard enough, you will notice she's there. You can hear her footsteps, feel her touch. It doesn't erase her existence. It just makes her less noticeable to those who aren't quite looking as hard as they could be.

        Wayfaring Archer Prince(ss)

An azure blue sky, dotted only by the white clouds. Calm forests, the creaking of the branches in the wind, the rustling of the leaves. A damp cave, lit only by torchlight, the sound of droplets of water hitting the aged stone tiles echoing through its ancient halls. Cities galore, new people, new cultures, a plethora of beliefs all merged into one. High above the city of Iustitia, the capital city of Eleutheria, sitting from the windowsill of her room in the castle, the young Verity Vanagloria dreams of something more.

From her early childhood, up til her later teens, Verity knew not of the world beyond the boundaries of Iustitia. She was not oft permitted to leave the castle walls, her only exposure to outside elements were the rare cases in which ministers or other officials or travelers had busy within the castle walls. She was a child isolated from the world around her, locked up in her tower, away from the world. Or so her parents believed her to be.

Even from a younger age, Verity was not one which could be called a princess, an heir to the throne, as anyone would have believed her to be. Her curiosity knew no bounds. Within the castle walls, she played the part of the perfect daughter. She studied as she was meant to, learned etiquette as she was meant to, learned the violin, practiced horse riding, archery, both common traits taught to all members of the Sagittarius royalty. But at times when her parents were away for business, she would adorn the garb of a common person, sling her bow over her back, and venture forth into the town. She spoke as one of the people, acted as one of the people, hunted for game alongside the people. Child as she was, it was not a well-kept secret to the kingdom that she was of royalty. But none of they paid it much mind. For the kingdom of Eleutheria, its main appeal to all was that it was as close to a free country as one could hope it to be. And if the princess of said country wished to be treated like the common person, who were they to judge? As far as they were concerned, it was a joy to have such a cheerful girl amongst them, enjoying times, laughing, and playing her violin.

Of course, time moved forward, and as time passes, so do people. Verity become Eleutheria's ruler in her late parent's place, beginning her reign at the young age of 20. Upon her coronation, she shed much of the pleasantries that she was taught to uphold as a princess. Not as an act of disrespect to her parents, or as an act of rebellion, but as a means of exemplifying what she wished of the kingdom. To be free, to be unrestricted. Not to simply do as one pleased, but to enjoy themselves with what they could. Hair kept short, attire kept casual, Verity was known to wander the streets of her kingdom without care. It was not uncommon either to see her setup on a corner of a street to perform with her violin. Perhaps her appearance was to blame, or maybe her tomboyish attitude, but she seemed to garner quite a lot of attention from other females, both in her kingdom and on her journeys, enough so that they started to call her a Prince, much to her dismay.

However, just like the breeze, Verity was known to wander anywhere and everywhere. Oftentimes leaving only the smallest of hints for her ministers with notes saying things such as "Off hunting" or "Gone exploring" as she left the kingdom, sometimes even the country, to explore the world that she did not get to see as a child. Always returning with some news and some presents, only to be chastised and shunned, but never was anyone truly surprised the next time she vanished. Of course, even despite her flighty mannerisms, she made sure to do work as needed, albeit with many a complaint.

      I. . . . . .
marksmanship / Verity is a natural born archer, able to shoot her bow with a great accuracy and fluidity. Combined with her power of agility, she is able to make even the most skilled of hunters look like amateurs. xxpositivity / Where there's a will, there's a way. And Verity has a firm will to keep trying until she's satisfied, for better or for worse. Though others consider it to just be stubbornness. xx sense of direction / Despite having been sheltered when she was younger, Verity has a keen sense of direction and once she's been somewhere, she's able to remember where she is and where she needs to go.xxperceptiveness / She's often very good at reading other people at understanding characters at a glance. Because of this she often decides from first glance whether or not they're someone she'll enjoy being associated with.

      W E A K N E S S E S
      II. . . . .
No means No / Naturally curious, and very stubborn, Verity has had many situations arise where she does something she shouldn't simply because she's been told not to. This has resulted in her getting on a less favorable side with some kingdoms. xxCQC / She is trained to be mobile, and to attack from a distance. While she can hold her own while dodging and weaving at a close distance, thanks to her powers of agility, she lacks the physical strength to be able to fight close quarters. xxSurprisingly Ruthless / Verity is, by all regards, not to be considered a nice person. She does things as she feels the need to. If she sees someone who is dying and she feels that there is a risk to her own life if she tried to help, she may not hesitate to turn a blind eye. Same goes for things she simply has no interest in.

      III.
The tufts of hair on her head are not actually ears, contrary to popular belief. But she does have an artificial tail to entertain the idea| She has a habit of saying exactly what's on her mind, even if it comes off as blunt or harsh. | Always makes an earnest attempt to skip her duties as a ruler | Absolutely refuses to wear dresses |Has a habit of climbing up to high places when she's feeling sad or conflicted or happy... she likes being high up. | She cannot, for the life of her, figure out how swimming works |Has a complex about her being called a 'Prince', but doesn't actually mind. It suits her mannerisms after all; though admittedly she'd like to truly be seen as a princess now and then
