a character in “Z Academy”, as played by TheRose202

Description

Name: Katrina Milan
Age: 29
Gender: Female
Appearance: Kristanna is of a very stall stature for a woman, standing at a height of six and a half feet with an extremely well-built body. She has raven-black, silky hair that flows down to her mid back, and though she rarely brushes it, it manages to stay at least somewhat pretty-looking, most of the time. She has deep brown eyes, almost black, that gaze out at the world with fire and intensity, and her sharply curving eyebrows only add to the effect. She has strong, but still fairly pretty facial features, though her face is marred by a deep scar that starts at the top of her left eyebrow, curving around to her chin and cutting through her temple. It appears to have been from a very sharp blade, due to its width and depth. She is extremely athletic and battle-oriented, and it shows in her mannerisms and movements. She is not very ladylike.
Clothing and equipment: In public, she is rarely seen without her light plate armour, which consists of red-dyed steel plates with golden embellishing, the gold forged into depictions of various battles. She doesn't generally wear a helmet unless she's preparing for battle, but in that occurrence, she wears a helenic-looking helmet with a T-shaped visor and cylindrical frame, her hair tied up as to not get in the way. She almost always wears a gilded steel spear upon her back, the tip designed to resemble flickering flames. It is extremely durable, and shows signs of being tempered many a time, but also shows signs of wear. She gets a lot of use out of it. Accompanying the spear, she wears a large bronze round shield that covers quite a bit of her body.
Personality: Abrasive, aggressive, and loud.
Hobby: Sharpening her spear, practicing, and reading historical fiction.
Rank: General and ZBlader (///>) (<=>)
Background: Kristanna has been a feisty child since the day she was born. All throughout her childhood, she fought and battled for supremacy over her "betters", her ego never allowing her to be a lady like all the rest. She grew up somewhere in Eastern Europe and her slight accent shows it, but otherwise not much is known about her. What /has/ become known (somewhat against her will) is that, after leaving the military of her homeland, she used to run with the Russian Mob but escaped to the US after narrowly escaping a botched heist and faking her own death. She may be the only one who is lucky that the Zombie apocalypse happened, as it likely exterminated the Mob or at least redirected their attention. She's a tough woman on the exterior, but inside she still fights a battle with herself and the crimes she's committed. However, none of this detracts from her determination, and after finding the Academy she quickly rose up to become the Strategy teacher, displaying a brilliant mind cramped within its perceived barriers, unable to release her true potential until now. She now relates her knowledge to the young students, committed to making sure no one else dies in this madness as long as she has a say in it, though she has a strange way of showing it...

So begins...

****New teachers, please read to see how classes run and what we are aiming towards.

After flipping through everyone's application forms, Sable went up and prepared to address the class. She noticed a disappointed John re-entering.

"Everyone, take a seat." She waited for the talking to cease. "We are Z Academy, built to train humans to counter the undead and help humankind recover from the Apocalypse. Here, the students are all youths who have been chosen to shape the future as we know it. You're are here either because you have talent, an interest, a determination to not accept defeat, or your parents were quite rich and paid to get you in." Some boys gave a guilty chuckle and looked around at their peers. "Either way, we do not care how you got here. Just as you have passed the application and audition process, the real test begins now. Don't expect it only takes one of those things to make it through your 4 years at Z Academy."

Sable took a breath then continued, "As you might already notice, your uniforms all have a rank on it. Starting today, you are all Recruits. You will be taking general subjects and upon working hard and reaching the rank of Slayer, you may choose your class. Specialize into either the Defensive Brigade, Attack Force, or the Research and Planning Division. Whatever will be your class, a strict core base of all subjects is needed, then a final practical exam to enter into the sector of your choice as well as a psychological test for your mental state."

"Every month, there will be a level-wide ranking system and promotions every 3 months. Best of luck to everyone. The higher your rank, the more access you have to better practice equipment. Make sure you get to the appropriate rank by the end of every year or you'll be held back."

"I'll be your teacher for the next few months. Call me Sable, NOT Ms.Rae." She spoke in a more hushed tone of voice, "I have long since abandoned that name."

She continued, "This course will teach you basic survival skills, the ethics of war, and work to develop combat, improve coordination, and how to kill one of the undead if ever needed, or if you're even thinking about joining to Attack Force. We'll be in the gym all the time practicing after the first term is over. However, before you even touch a weapon, we will go through theoretical components first. Today is a short class so I've nothing planned. However, tonight, do a write up about why you, personally, are willing to go into this dangerous field and know that the undead were once normal living humans as well. Will you be able to put a gun to them knowing that? It's easier spoken than done. Where will your determination to kill come from?"

"That is all for today, enjoy your lunch after this and your other 2 classes in the afternoon."

Students are excited and discuss what class they want after graduating as well as finding people to sit with in the cafeteria/roof/empty classroom.

Some time later, when the second class begins
Katrina Milan stands before her class, gilded spear in hand and shield strapped upon her back. She addresses the new arrivals in her class with a stony almost-glare. She finally speaks after several moments of silence, her deep voice ringing out like a drill sergeant's.
"I have just one question for all of you children," she says, "and that is, do you want to live through this mess, or do you want to die like a dog on the streets of some unnamed city?"

Though the question is actually rhetorical, she seems to wait for an answer for a few moments before continuing. The class is dead silent. She continues again after several moments of awkward quiet.
"If you are not prepared to learn the strategies it takes to survive in this god-forsaken world and just want to charge into a mess of zombies like an idiot, then get out of my class right now. If you want to live, if you want to learn how to defeat this damned plague, then stay. It makes no difference to me."
No one leaves, which, if it pleases the woman, she doesn't show it on her face. "Good! My name is General Katrina Milan, and I'll be teaching you the strategies you will need to survive this plague. Now, before we start this class, I need to make a few things clear. I don't tolerate fools in my class, and I don't tolerate disrespect to me or your fellow classmates. You will be able to speak your mind. I'd be a bad strategist if I didn't listen to your opinions. But be respectful to the opinions of others. Ask questions if you need to and don't be afraid to come to me for assistance. Oh, and one last thing. Unless given permission otherwise, you will address me as "general" or "Ma'am". Am I making myself clear?"
The class bobs their heads.
"Good. Class dismissed. Tomorrow we will see how adept all of you are at strategical thinking and planning already and proceed from there."

She moves over to her desk and sits, sifting through the sparse pile of papers on her desk. There wasn't much there, as she preferred more hands-on teaching, but some paperwork was always necessary. Unfortunately.

Erik was having a bad day. A very, very bad day. After having laughed at Mrs. Sable Rae, he went into the next classroom only to see "General" Milan shout and scare the shit out of all the students. She probably killed em all by now. Sighing at the very strong and frightening display brought by Milan, he left that classroom too.
As he exited the classroom, a few other students who were currently trainees came to tease him. "Hey kid, new here? You gotta respect the big, strong men here!", the leader boasted, showing off his "Trainee (>>)" badge. Erik sighed again. He was mistaken a lot for a student in the academy, but it wasn't such a problem. Erik smirked at the group and said, "You kids don't know who your talking to...Slime like you shouldn't be boasting around for having a low rank 2 badge". The group, prepared to beat Erik for his series of comeback insults, flung their fists towards Erik. Dodging them all swiftly and quickly, Erik appeared before the whole group. He pulled out his first rapier, and pointed at the leader's neck.
The cowards, all afraid so quickly, desperately noted, "Y-you can't have that! Weapons are strictly prohibited fo-". The group immediately noticed the pointy, rank 7 Marshal badge (<>) and the ZBlader Class (<=>) badge on his left arm. Suddenly realizing who they were talking to, the group fell into a bow. "WE'RE SORRY!", they all rang out at once.
With a stern face, Erik commanded the nearest ZSlayer guards. "Punishment: Detention for attempts of disrespect towards lower ranks. Place them in quarter 1, where the 3 undead subjects are jailed at". With a pale face, the leader looked at Erik in betrayal. "YOUR GOING TO TURN US INTO THOSE THINGS?!". Chuckling, Erik said, "Nope, you guys are going to stay in the same room as them. Don't worry, they'll be separated in another cell, so your both protected. Just remember the fears you receive there, and reflect on your mistakes for the hour that'll pass, okay?". He smiled as the group struggled in the grips of the footsoldiers.
Turning back with another serious face, he approached Milan who had just seen the scene. "I thought you were supposed to train them how to respect in order for battle formations to run smoothly...". Without hearing an answer for a while, Erik slid the cool metal of his blade back in to the sheath. "I expect you to teach them how to respect a lot sooner...General Milan. I didn't give you that rank for just honor and respect". Erik walked away, shaking his head in disappointment. "These kids have to learn resp-".
Erik suddenly realized something he could do, that could enhance the courage that the students could possible give off. "Hmm...not a bad idea". Erik walked into his office and called, "Jarmain! I need you here right now!". Jarmain, as usual, entered immediately. "You called, sir?". "Just Erik is fine. Now, I need you to organize something big....something called an excursion. Gather all the trainees and recruits with potential. Actually, forget that. I'm promoting all the recruits to trainee! They passed the exam with very high marks, so lets send them on the excursion as proud trainees". Smacking his hand down onto the desk, he started thinking rapidly once again. "Send two teachers along with them. I think I'll send Milan, and just in case for emergencies, I'll send Rae too. Good...this'll give the trainees some experience and training. Once they return, they should be good enough to be promoted to a Slayer!".

(GM: CONGRATULATIONS ALL OF YOU! You all received at least 8.5 and up! Highest honors goes to Andreas and Rhiannon for scoring a 100! Even if that was a silly questionnaire only to kill your time, you guys still did well and my character is impressed.
So, basically what's going to happen now guys is that my character is going to send you all on an excursion to gather supplies and experience. Once you return, I will (not guaranteed) promote you guys to Slayer, so you guys will have both highschool time and action and adventures. Ashenblaze's character and TheRose's will go along with you guys, but Ashenblaze will be the one that will give the sudden events, problems, and all that stuff for you guys to solve! But first, I need you guys to start interacting with each other and learn each other's names with different relationships (rivalry, friendship, etc.). Once that's done, I will announce your departure! Oh and Thomas, don't worry I'll be setting up some events for us both to do, like gather samples of zombie bodies and stuff. That's all for now! Until then guys!

Milan, who had nearly kicked open her door at the commotion, glares at the trainees first, growling dangerously. Then she turns her intense gaze on Erik. "I didn't know threatening students with sharpened blades was a common disciplinary method around here sir. And respect is earned, not simply given. However, their behaviour is still inexcusable. Trust me when I tell you that they will be under close scrutiny within my class."

She then huffs and turns back around to head into her classroom, which hasn't cleared out just yet. "Alright, now, class is over so if you wish to stay in here and...socialise...or something, then feel free to do so." She then pulls a small booklet from her desk and begins writing, losing herself in whatever notes it is she's taking.

Katrina finishes furiously scribbling in her book and raises her head, looking about at the now-cleared room. She smiles at the quiet and stands, sheathing her spear and walking out the door and into the hallway. She looks around for a moment, seeming somewhat directionless, before picking a direction and going there. It had been awhile since she had time to train, and so she found herself in the training yard, eyeing down a couple of hand-to-hand practice dummies, scavenged from a nearby gym. She removes her spear and shield and multiple plates of her armour, revealing a white tank top and form-fitting nylon leggings beneath, perfect for easy, unobstructed movement. Then she goes to work on the dummy, her hands and feet a flurry as she beats on the tough rubber man.

This was the best time to think about things. New students, new teachers, and the same annoying Marshall. Hopefully they'd be able to get along better in the future. In any case, at least he didn't have the new blood throwing themselves at the zombies like a bunch of fools. She was almost surprised. She continues on this way, lost in her thoughts..

It was time. Time for Erik to launch the operation.
Suddenly, the door opened. Out came Sables, all prepared and dressed up. Grinning at the display, Erik said, "Looking good. I guess you already got notified about the trip". Sables, in front of Erik, saluted in a perfect stance. Nodding his head, Erik noted, "Do remember, your only there in case of emergencies. I expect all the students to be back in one piece, uninfected. Your the best in the area for defensive combat and medical emergencies. I'm expecting a lot from you". He walked out to the balcony of his window, and noticed all the students in the courtyard. They started to gather as they noticed Erik, group by group.

Suddenly, Erik frowned. "Wait, where's Milan? I expected her here too...". Immediately, the old butler came in to the room. He came up to Erik and whispered, "You haven't notified her about her position in the trip sir, and she's currently busy. She's practicing at the target range, and it's quite an important thing in her perspective". Angered by this, Erik commanded, "Not as important as this! Bring her here at once. I do not want her late any more than 10 minutes". Erik, disappointed at himself, face palmed with his pale fingers. He thought, "I can't believe this...I really have to start getting organized".

Looking back down at the crowd that has finally gathered, Erik pulled himself together and sternly looked at the group. "All you people down there! I have an important announcement to make". Erik turned, and saw Katrina prepared too, looking quite annoyed. Nodding his head at her in respect for using her time for this meeting, Erik turned back and stared down at the crowd. "I have decided to send out a team of skilled, chosen trainees to an excursion!". Startled by this sudden announcement, the crowd started to mumble. "This is the first time we have sent such an untrained group out of the academy, but chosen ones, do not worry!". Lifting his hand, Sable and Katrina immediately showed themselves to the crowd, standing beside him. "These highly trained teachers, specialized in their skills, will come along to supervise and react at any threat that stands in your way!".

Positioning his hand with his palm facing up at the right, he said, "General Milan here, will be the main supervisor and leader of this excursion! Do not worry, her skills are perfectly suited against the undead, and she has helped bring glory and honor to our academy against the hordes of the undead!". The crowd applauded, as Katrina stood expressionless. Positioning his hand once again, this time to the left, he said, "This is General Rae, leader of the Defensive Brigade. She will also come along to watch for emergencies and help along with dangerous operations. She is also an excellent medic, so in case any of you get injured, she will patch you right up!". The crowd applauded once again. Erik noticed, that even Sable acted expressionless. Proud to have such expressionless generals, Erik applauded for them both too.

Finally, he pulled out a sheet of paper filled with names, ranks and scores. Gathering the crowd's attention again, he announced, "Now, I have created a list of trainees who have been selected to go on this excursion. They are skilled enough to participate in this operation, and have proved themselves worth. Will the following trainees line up in front of the academy entrance?", With a deep breath, he listed, "Jean Lettesurg, Andreas Petrovic, Rhiannon Breckenridge, John Kingstone, Lan Karl, David Dantan, Daniel Dantan, Reese Frackener, Thomas Jorde, Venice Black, and Velia Snowchristel!". Looking down at the rest of the students, he shouted, "The rest of you will have normal classes, and the generals away will be replaced by skilled frontiers who have been acknowledged to teach. That is all!. Erik suddenly remembered something. "Oh, I forgot. One last thing, another girl will participate in the excursion along with you guys". He started to scratch his hair nervously. "Um...how do I explain this...Cameron Hakito, a slayer, will follow along to observe you guys and your human nature". Erik quickly turned, and left the balcony, only to leave the students speechless. Sable and Katrina followed, and the courtyard fell silent, awaiting for the headmaster and the two generals to arrive at the entrance.

Katrina stays silent throughout the whole thing, pondering the headmaster's choices. She truly hoped these kids were ready for such a test. She had no idea how skilled they were, or if they could hold themselves together in a fight against rabid undead attempting to devour them. She didn't think this was an excellent idea, but the most she could do was try and keep them alive and organised. She tucks a small 9mm pistol into her belt just in case she needed some range, and takes up her spear as they head toward the courtyard, taking a glance at the students' faces as she goes, gauging their reactions. Nervous underlings were usually a bad thing, and she would have to raise their morale prior to going out if that were the case. On the other hand, if they were too brave, they could do something stupid and get other people killed, meaning she'd have to give them a bit of a reality check.

It would be difficult to find what was right for everyone, but it wouldn't be something she hadn't done before. She hadn't commanded in a bit, so this would be a bit of a test. She was looking forward to it.

(I tried to tag everyone but it didn't work >.< and the list isn't coming up when I type. Sorry guys.)

Thomas was close to the academy now, he saw a group of students and leaving "An excursion perhaps" He said, "I hope nothing happen's to them, not really the best timing for an excursion..."
As he entered the academy he started to hurry up to the headmaster's office, it was important for Erik to know of the danger's of being so close to the city...
As Thomas opened the door he realized Entering the Headmaster's just kike that wasnt the brightest idea...Especially with someone with the temperament of someone as Erik...
The Headmaster was standing right there.
"Erik, here's my report, I need to talk something with you, There's a city just 5 miles away from here, its full of bandits and totally not a safe place, A small town called Huntville is just 3 miles away from here, it has been raided, its just a matter of time before an Attack, Im worried that the academy could be in danger..."

He saw the teacher approach and he stood up " Ma'am, I'm John please to meet you " he bow. He waited for the rest of his classmates. This was going to be a dangerous mission he wasn't nervous he was calculating chances and survival of course he knew things didn't always fall through like he plan. He waited eager to see what the outside of the academy was and if there could be a chance this excursion could help even more to hone his skills. He pushed his glasses up and began examining the wind and the sky it he wrote a couple more notes in his journal and sat down waiting for the excursion to begin.

(Alright, I think that's enough people. The red shirt guy will just have to catch up.)
"Alright, children," says Katrina as she enters the main foyer of the school, the large room that contains the main entrance, "Form up!"
Once they've all formed ranks, she continues. "Alright, what we're about to do is called an excursion. We'll be searching for usable supplies, weaponry, anything we can scavenge. The first thing I need to know is which of you are aiming to become Scouts. Your group will have the important task of scouting ahead in groups of two or three and reporting back any outstanding dangers, like large hordes of Zeds or groups of looters or anything of that nature. Be thorough and stay together and out of sight; we don't want to lose anyone today. I'll be leading those in the attack division after we get the all-clear from the forward scouts to search each and every building we come across for valuables. Meanwhile, we'll have people from the defense division work as lookouts. If any of you see anything, don't try to take it out alone, notify the rest of us just in case it turns ugly. Is there anyone who can use a sniper rifle?"
If anyone raises their hand, she'll point them out.
"You'll be taking position with a spotter either in the church spire to the north or the water tower to the west. The church is more likely to be filled with Zeds, but the journey is a much shorter one. The water tower, on the other hand, is almost guaranteed to be clear, but it's a bit of a jaunt. I'll leave the decision up to you. You'll help the defenders to cover us, and I'll be giving you a high-powered silenced sniper rifle to do the job. Speaking of which, I'll now be going over the equipment designations."
She takes a piece of paper from a satchel on her hip and unfolds it, reading it off. "The scouts, depending on their preference, will be either be equipped with silenced Gilboa 9mm SMGs, three extra clips, and a combat knife, or a machete, police baton, and 9mm pistol with one extra clip. The looters in the attack division will be given, based on their preference, an M-14 carbine with four extra clips and a 9mm sidearm, or a longsword and five throwing knives. The watchers in the defense division will be given a silenced G28 precision rifle and a scoped .20 cal pistol or a baseball bat and shortsword, also depending on preference. The sniper will be given an Istiglal Anti-Material Rifle and an automatic glock for their sidearm. Be careful with the rifle, those ones aren't the easiest to find. Their spotter will be equipped as a scout."
She looks around at the students to make sure they absorbed it all before asking, "Does anyone have any questions?"

Rhi, who had only been waiting for a couple minutes for people to start organizing the venture, stood at attention, listening to the woman's instructions, resisting the urge to complain about being called a "child." She was one year away from legal adulthood, and probably had more life experiences than some people had by age thirty. Well, before the apocalypse anyway. The people who weren't good at gaining life experience didn't usually make it to thirty anymore.

Out of her options in the situation, looting sounded the most suited to her. She was pretty good at scoping out necessary supplies. "I could join the attack division," she said after the other guy volunteered to be a scout. Asking for a sword as a sidearm... pfft. She instantly thought he probably didn't know how to use one. Not her problem, though.

"I'd rather wield the longsword." Rhi continued. "Hate guns..." The last part was quieter, almost involuntary. After it came out of her mouth, she instantly regretted it. She didn't want to look weak or disappoint her teachers. A bit of a blush coloring her face, she snapped her mouth closed, gazing fixedly at the ground a few feet in front of her.

Velia watched John Kingstone and the pretty girl choose their roles for the excursion. She did not particularly want to be a part of this, but the Headmaster chose her as a member of this team so she had no choice but to obey his orders. Velia thought of the roles. The sniper position, hidden and alone, would have seemed perfect for her but it was too big of a role and responsibility for Velia to want to handle. She decided on taking the role of a watcher, expecting to do as little as possible.

"I'll be a watcher in the water tower route," she spoke standing frozen, unlike the others who had raised their hands, "and I'll take the silenced G28 precision rifle and the scoped 0.20 cal pistol." Wouldn't be bad to carry a second pistol. Already have my own equipment too.

The boy named John came up to David and apologized. "No worries man, I was just angry and took it out on others. My bad", he says and shakes his hand. David looked to his brother when the options were presented, and automatically knew they'd choose to stick together. He raised his hand eagerly and spoke up. "I can use the sniper rifle", he says quietly. He wanted Daniel to watch his back, and already knew he what he was going to pick, because he liked CQC. SMG and a machete, was David's first guess. He hears the girl mutter about hating guns. He, personally, loved firearms or all shape, size, and caliber. But to each his own. "Requesting the sniper position," he says and glances at Daniel quickly,"with the water tower route."

Daniel smiled as David spoke his role. This would be the perfect opportunity to show how well they worked together. Daniel stepped forward next to his brother, and raised his hand. "Let me be the spotter for our sniper. We work terrifically in a team." He thought for a moment. "Id prefer the machete, along with the designated smg and handgun." Daniel smiled confidently, knowing that him and his brother were a force to be reckoned with when put in a pair.

" The water tower is quite far a way but safer said the teacher right that means our speed will be halted in order to give you time to arrive at the tower " He said as he studied the road ahead if it was a bit of a climb it didn't guaranteed that it will be safe and it would delay them quite a bit but his classmate survival was important to him. He walked up to the teacher " how much of a head distance are the scouts allow to move from the main group ma'am " He said as he pushed his glasses and readied a strategy for the journey calculating the number of people and the survival rate of all of them and with the slayer and teachers it seemed high yet a small chance that there will casualties.

"Thomas, I'm glad you got back safe. Now, as you mentioned something about a bandit town, I think I'll go there myself to investigate". He grabbed the report, and flipped through it quick. "Not bad", Erik complimented. "I'm glad we got you here, otherwise we would have never known". He saluted back at Thomas. "Good work. I'd like you to scout the southern region next, but before that, I need you to check on that bandit town once again, then report back. I'm going to send along another person with you". Erik quickly dialed "Teacher". "Teacher, I need you to scout along with Thomas. You two will be checking out the so-called "Bandit Town" for a while, then you guys can check out the southern region. I hope you get some info and good supplies out of this". He hung up, refusing to allow Teacher to reply back, and headed out.

Erik turned, and walked out of his office, only to hear a shout, "Hey, headmaster! Why was I chosen for the mission? I mean, why did you choose me?". The attitude sounded like the new girl that had just arrived, Cameron. Turning, he said, "Aren't you supposed to be downstairs along with the rest of them?". Suddenly, he felt like he had seen her face before. Smacking his head, he thought, "Your the headmaster of the academy! Your the boss! Now get down there, and act like one! This isn't like the few years back!". He quickly said, "Go meet up with the rest of them. Do not hold us up, that will only slow you down, even as you have been immediately promoted to Slayer". Erik left.

He arrived in front of the group. He had just heard Katrina talk about the excursion, but....something was off. "Um. Milan". Erik quickly said. Milan turned to Erik, and replied with a "Everything is ready sir". Erik walked towards the group, and face-palmed. "Milan...we're not doing a scouting job here, that's too dangerous for these kids. Other than that, that was an excellent explanation, but please refer those words to the frontiers with the rank of ZScout...". Erik patted Katrina in the arm, and turned to face the group. "Listen up! This isn't some serious mishmash or whatever the f*ck you guys will be thinking it is! This isn't a mission too. Like I said, it's an excursion. A little trip, for a few days. I only got Milan and Rae here to watch you guys, and what you guys will really be doing, is a short experience in the outer world".

Erik paused for a moment, coughed, and looked at the group. He noticed someone was missing. Again. He turned, only to notice Cameron walking towards him. "Oh...Cameron. I see your here. Get into the group now". She simply nodded, with a bit of an angered look in her face. Erik tried to forget about it even as he was confused, but continued his explanation. "You guys will be camping. For a while. In the woods. There, you guys will be taught all sorts of skills such as surviving in such conditions, shooting a pistol (with a silencer of course), melee range battling, and more than the teachers could possibly teach you!".

He looked at Cameron, and said, "And you will learn human nature. Don't go overboard with all the....yeah". He couldn't help but think that Cameron looked dangerously familiar....way too familiar, but no matters. "You guys will leave tomorrow at 1600. Be prepared before you guys get sent off! All of you are expected to bring casual clothing and your uniform! Everything else will be provided!". He looked at John, and said, "Sorry kid, but there's no snipers or anything around here. It's just basic training, and a little more experience in the outer world".

He quickly turned to Milan, and told her the explanation of what they were going to do. (Students, you will not be reading this please skip to the next paragraph, and none of your characters will hear. Only TheRose202, Wolf's Bane109 and Ashenblaze). "So basically what's going to happen, is you guys are going to train them more than you guys have ever trained trainees and slayers. Make sure they also learn combat in water, otherwise they won't be able to undergo missions underwater once they become slayers. I expect them all to have fun too. Even if this is a dangerous world, they still need a life, no?". He turned to Sable, and nodded his head. "You know what to do, and I want you to also participate in some occasions". Turning back to Milan and Sable, he also added, "Oh, and make sure you guys keep an eye on...Cameron. From what I heard from the frontier scouts that found her group, she was deadly back there. Like as in, can kill without any feelings. Apparently she killed 4 hordes of zombies by herself with a mere knife. A kitchen knife, to be exact. She may be dangerous, but I want to give her a chance in this academy. Got it?".

He turned back to the group and shouted an "Attention!". The group saluted, except for Cameron who just looked at Erik angrily. His eyes started to twitch again. "I will be expecting a huge success from all of you! You guys are the top trainees, and should be able to surpass even this level! Dismissed!". The crowd dispersed except for a few students, and Erik turned back to the two generals, still awaiting their dismissal. "I am expecting them to be top-grade Slayers by the end of this excursion, understand? I place this burden on you two, but I know you guys will be able to make it a success. Dismissed!".

(GM: WE HAVE FILLED IN ALL THE SPOTS! (Gonna keep the survival teacher spot blank for one of you students to fill in one day) THIS ROLEPLAY WON'T BE ACCEPTING ANY OTHER REQUESTS TO JOIN! We have enough for the plot to go on, and I don't want the roleplay to get all crammed....so we're READY TO START THE PLOT! Um sorry for the late reply guys my computer broke down so I went to the library instead...I might be inactive for a while sorry, but I'm still hoping this goes along great! Now, what I meant by the 1600 thing, as some of you might know, means 4:00 PM. I want the group to start roleplaying the excursion tomorrow at 4:00 PM (sorry for making you guys wait) and I need TheRose202 to direct chat me (since I can't pm you, you only posted 11 times). I'll explain what's going to happen in the excursion TheRose202, and Ashenblaze will act as the GM (or if you guys like to formally call it, DM/Dungeon Master) inside the excursion, giving you guys all sorts of challenges against problems such as zombie appearances, cliffs hard to climb, etc. This is part of the plot guys! Expect a lot from it, it has been organized and reviewed greatly! Thanks for being active, all of you!)

He sighted with a little disappointment as this wasn't consider a mission, but smile he still got to go in to the forest and train to prove he could be a great student. " Well then I guess I better make changes to my analysis " He said to himself as he took out his journal and began writing down, it was a good think he had studied about poisonous plants and animals that he could encounter in a forest area like this. He began making a check list of thing to avoid as he finish making his list he memorized it and put his journal back on the chain on his hip. He look around to see the teachers gathering and his classmates, He saw a professor come that had been speaking to the headmaster he had come from the outside he was either a scout or strategist. " He knows what is outside maybe I should go a head and talk to a little it could certainly add more to my notes", He said as he approached the teacher " Professor Thomas nice to meet you " He bow then continued" I couldn't help but notice you were outside the gate earlier I just wanted to ask if you saw anything out there" , He said " of course if its confidential I understand and wont waste your time further." He said pushing up his glasses and waiting for a response.

Before Katrina can outright deny John's request, she's approached by the headmaster, telling her that this was not, in fact, a foraging mission. She seems almost a bit disappointed. "Truly? Well, I do plan on carrying out such a mission at the end of the excursion, then. It would be perfect to test their skill in battle and sharpen their senses, and we're beginning to run low on certain supplies. They will be the best of the best when I am through with them." she says finitely. She turns back to the students.

"New plan!" she calls out. "We'll still need scouts, but the rest of us will be moving if formation to the woods. It's dangerous out there no matter where you go, so keep your eyes and ears open, especially in the woods. Visibility will be reduced due to foliage and lack of light. As well as scouts, we'll need forward, flank, and rear sentries to look out for any dangers. Any volunteers?" After people raise their hands (if they do), she'll acknowledge them and continue on. "The scouts will move at about 100 to 400 metres ahead, and will report back any dangers that need be avoided. Keep in mind that you're not a hero; do not engage any hostiles or Zeds that you may come across, just inform us of their location so we can steer clear. Other than that, we'll maintain complete radio silence. Zeds are attracted to sound, remember that. Try and move as quietly as possible. Is everybody ready?"

She turns back to the headmaster and raises a brow at the mention of the girl's "abilities", scoffing incredulously. Her next words are a little lower than before.
"I believe horde is a subjective term, and stories tend to be embellished a bit in these times. I'll keep my eye on her. And if she proves to be a danger to any of the recruits, don't be surprised if she ends up with a spear through her eye. She'll not get a second chance to harm anyone, and I don't make empty threats."

" I will like to volunteer as a scout still ms. " He said looking at the teacher he seemed a bit concern whether she view him as a liability because he wanted to make himself as helpful as he could. He looked around too see if any of the other students would volunteer as well " the scouts ma'am what will their formation be" He said as he wanted a plan to strategize. He looked back at the teacher hoping that look wasn't for him, he look down and then back up" Umm Ma'am is everything okay ?". He didn't know whether there was something wrong with him or the other students but if there was that would greatly affect survival and chances. He was snap back to the present when the teacher's lance reflected some light into his eyes he noted the craftsmanship and admired how much skill it took to wield such weapons.

Erik turned back, and left the group that had just dispersed. He didn't look back, and tried not to. The girl, Cameron, worried him a lot...not just because she was dangerous, because she looked way too familiar...like he had known her for a long time.

Having heard Milan's extra add-on to the excursion, Erik was pretty disappointed. A general had just went against his idea and wanted to make it go her own way. Still in the midst of a thought, Erik knew it could be better, yet also even more dangerous to actually engage in this excursion with posts and sentries guarding the campsite. His idea of this included them having fun! Relaxing from the academy, becoming even more confident to face hordes of the undead.

He just hoped that Milan could bring this trip and little training camp a success. As for Sable....she had to remember her times of fun too. She was acting too cold and hasty at the same time. Then again, all the female teachers hated Erik for acting so annoying...

He climbed up the stairs and walked past the other students, looking at Erik in awe. He sighed. He didn't create this academy for everyone to stare at him. As he passed the corridors and arrived to his office, he noticed Cameron in front of him. Raising his eyebrow, yet still impatiently looking at her face, he asked, "Why have you come?".

It is at that unfortunate moment that Katrina finds herself walking through the halls, on her self-designated patrol route as usual. It's a pretty quiet night other than the occasional moan of a "Zed" as she calls them, and she almost feels herself becoming calm. That is, until she rounds a corner and runs right into some kid with a sniper on his back and SMG on his hip, and her senses go into overdrive again, years of training consolidating into this single moment of quick reaction. Without a moment's hesitation, she grasps the kid's arm and, with expert fingers, undoes the gun from his hip and points it at his head.

"Who the hell are you?" she asked the kid in a growling tone, menacing dark brown eyes intense enough to bore a hole through an inch thick steel wall. "And why the hell are you walking around our school at night with weaponry?" Her grip on his arm is like a vice, and the clicking of the safety on the uzi into the "off" position shows she definitely means business. Lucky for him she was bare-handed when she found him, otherwise he might have a spear in his vital organs. That was a rather uncomfortable position to be in.

Cameron followed the head master as he walked down the stairs and back into the main hall where the rest of the chosen students and some staff were. Cameron rolled her eyes and sighed when he ignored her question and snapped at her for not being with the others. She walked over and stood by the other students and listened to what they had to say about the mission. Cameron nodded and smirked as she looked down at herself and gave a small smirk as she examined her equipment and weapons that she had already. She has two pistols, one on each side of her waist attached to her belt, a bow strapped to he back, and quiver attached to her bag with a few arrows left, a zip gun that was in her right boot, and a few extra ammo clips in her pockets.

Cameron looked at the other students and smiled she she could tell she was far more trained and experianced than the others. She looked back at the headmaster as he said dismissed and was about to walk away when she heard him explain about her. She smiled as she heard him tell the story about her when she killed four hordes with a kitchen knife. She was supprised that people had already heard of that, but maybe that's why she was sent here, her master saw potential in her. Cameron's smile then quickly faded when she heard a female voice deny the story about her fighting skills, and threaten to kill her if she tried to kill another student. She was about to turn around and start a fight with her for saying crap about her, but she held her tongue and started to walk away again.

Cameron was almost out of the room when she heard the headmaster say, '' Why are you here?'' Cameron smirked and said, ''Well, I'm suprissed you don't know the answer to that. I mean, you are the headmaster after all. But, I'll excuse that and tell you myself.'' She took a deep breath and walked closer to him, looked him in the face and studied him over for a quick second and looked away. She looked back up and said, ''My former master sent me here with a few others, they didn't make it besides the one who was with me. I wasn't able to rescue the others in time, before.....well, you know.'' She looked away as she could hear and see flashes of her friends crying out for help and being slain or turned. Cameron quickly snapped out of it and looked back at the headmaster and said, ''I guess he saw some potential in me or something. I guess I'm a fair fighter, but not the best. I can kick ass like it's my business, but who's counting, right? And why do you want to know? I mean, there's hundreds of other students here, why question me?'' Cameron stood back and twisted the gun that she had on her belt in her fingers and looked around, just wanting to get away and sleep, since she just arrived a few hours ago and was on the run for her life for the past three weeks.
