"Come on! You ugly-" he started when a zombie had suddenly cut its path to reach out and grab Joseph he quickly lifted his hands and just as he had practiced many times before when he trained at the Wing Chun dojo in town. He defleceted the arms and pulled the slow body off balance and walked pass while kicking the leg helping the falling of the monster. Joseph noticed there was no sign of pain nor did the monster hesitate in grabbing him while he fell. He had been careful not to get too close to them but now he knew that unarmed combat may help him in troubled times but the enemy was so unorthodox in mind and body that it seemed too risky to go out of the way to engage up close. Joseph needed a weapon.
While distracting the small horde of zombies Joseph saw many students escaping or fighting for their life. Some seemed to have claimed a victory by damaging the head, while others ended up eaten and torn apart.
Joseph stopped his jog and went into a full on sprint. He climbed the high wall of the school, but before jumping down he saw what was on the other side. The city was on fire. He could easily hear the gunshots and saw a few people being swarmed by the zombies. Joseph looked at the school grounds realizing that this hell hole was currently safer seeing as how no more zombies could get in. Somehow Joseph and any other survivors had to clean up their own "mess" and to do that they had to get gathered together.
Joseph looked forward to see and started to move along the thin wall. He moved at a pace slightly faster than the zombies but he knew he would have to get further ahead so he could jump down. Regardless Joseph focused on balance as he moved on his hands and feet along the wall. He needed to get to the Principles office.

NEW REPORTS SAY AIM FOR THE BRAINS.
She made a mental note the reporter went on about staying indoors and carrying a form of self defence weapon. The woman repeated everything maybe four times before they turned to the weather. "Who gives a flying shit about the weather?" She said fairly enough.
