P E R S O N A L I T Y : Zinni is a dyed-in-the-wool cop, wholly dedicated to his duties as a law enforcement officer. Often overtly brutal in his methods but morally straight as an arrow, he plays it by the book with straightforward police intimidation and an unwavering approach to his orders. He maintains a tough facade on the job, but occasional chinks in his mask let through a glimpse of a gentle spirit; typically reserved for his young daughters. He sees the Doctor as a dangerous madman, and his creations as vile, inhuman abominations.
B I O G R A P H Y : Born the illegitimate child of a local politician, Zinni grew up in a dilapidated townhouse with his prostitute-mother. Suffering from failing grades and a raging heroin addiction, he dropped out of high school to work for a little-known narcotics ring, selling drugs and accepting payment in the form of enough product to sustain his own habit. The self-destructive lifestyle couldn't last, and the bottom dropped out when he was caught in the middle of a police raid and sentenced to nineteen years in prison for distribution of narcotics varying from simple hallucinogens to full-strength methamphetamines.

As he came before the jury, Zinni, then 17, was fortunate to make the acquaintance of a sympathetic judge who thought Zinni's case redeemable. Instead of prison time, the judge offered a court-ordered rehab process followed by compulsory military service. Zinni readily agreed, eager to leave his stagnating life behind. In the army, Jason found the discipline and structure he'd lacked and gladly cast his old existance behind him. After a tour as an infantryman and another as a Military Police officer, he left the service and joined the Department of Homeland Security as a full-time agent, pleased to find that his pre-adulthood offenses hadn't followed him. Over the years as an agent, he distinguished himself to become an SAC, and has since been appointed to a special DHS Task-Group to investigate and apprehend one 'Doctor Liam Preston'.
