P E R S O N A L I T Y : Kallik is an odd little fellow. All along he has been alone, wishing to make friends but much to shy to do so. He is over cautious, always making sure the area is safe from anybody that could harm him. This lead him to being quite stressed out, and not coping well with others. He is very timid, and will jump and run at the sound of any danger, even if there is none to be had. He would be what the animal kingdom would describe as 'weak willed'. Kallik is reluctant to attach himself to anybody and anything, for fear that he might get hurt. However, under his scared personality is his original, and more curious and optimistic side. Since normally he is quite saddened by life, he is rarely cheered up by anything save a beautiful sunset and sunrise. He wishes - A LOT - that he could become friends with others, to reach out and understand them, but as stated earlier, he is much too afraid. On the other hand, he is extremely glutinous when it comes to eating.

B I O G R A P H Y :He is one of the original experiments by the scary doctor Liam. Kallik was born and raised in captivity at the San Diego Zoo, which he never minded. Except for the fact that when it came time to feed, he would be a human, so it was always annoying and awkward for him. He was quite contempt with being at the zoo, minding his own business, being a hybrid and all. He never raised a fuss over anything, and was always grateful for everything. A goodie two shoes, if you thought about it. Which made him the easy target for any predators that wanted somebody small to pick on, and being an Egyptian fruit bat didn't help. Over time he became more reclusive, until the government showed up and rushed him away.

The government was the worst thing to happen to Kallik. The experiments, the testing, the constant watch by humans, it tore his emotions apart and scarred him for life. The testing left many scars over his body, and many that aren't visible. He still has daymares - he doesn't sleep at night... - about it. Unlike the others, he didn't formulate plans to escape, he cried in the corner. When it came for the day that they all busted out, he nearly didn't go with them, for he was too scared to continue on his own. Maybe it was the way that Zu yelled at him, or something, but he mustered up the courage and flew out with them, to their new secret base. He couldn't get over being alone though, and the constant reminder that his kind didn't live in this part of the world was always there. To make the pain bearable, he took up art by whatever means necesarry, and has gotten quite good over the last year. He always stays near the institute, believing it is the safest place.

A P P E A R A N C E : The Egyptian Rousette is the smallest of the Megabat family, only having a wingspan of 60 cm (2ft) and a body of roughly 15 cm (6 inches) with males being slightly larger. Light brown in fur color, but have darker brown wings
B E H A V I O R : Only active during the darkest times of the night, and hunt in colonies that range into the thousands. They normally stay with the colony they were born into for their entire life.
H A B I T A T : The Egyptian Fruit bat is actually not native to Egypt, but many parts of Africa and the Middle East.

D I E T : Fruit and fruit alone. Likes pulpy and soft fruit the best. However, it normally eats unripe or damaged fruit, allowing it to thrive.
