Mana lifted Al's ears up and down as she looked over her body.
"Poor things beat up from when we were fighting over her. Look at all these bruises."
She lifeted up one of her arms and observed it.
"She should wake up again when you return to your time. But if you dont, she might never wake up."

A vein began to pulse in Asterius' brow, and he was getting dangerously close to losing his temper again. He'd heard the two demons talking about "returning to their time", and it made him seethe with anger at how stupid they were. Had they not listened when he'd shouted about her being a dangerous convict? No, of course not...it didn't even look like demons understood simple logic.

Anasti sighed, looking at the three arguing persons, as he had set the walker on an automated course towards the eleven lands.. “This politics, time travel, convicts, I never knew hat the other races had to deal with such strife,.. he sad sadly. “I only pray that the Greater good could come over them all..

"I think politlics and convicts and things like that are pointless most of the time. But Ithink Time travel is just plane stupid. One mistake and you could scew up everything. The time space vortex, the future, it could all come crumbelling down with something so simple you idnt realize you did anything wrong. Ya know?"

Kept awake by the jabberings of the two demons, Asterius rolled off the uncomfortable bed. There was no door, so he couldn't shut it to block out the noise, but the fact they were speaking wasn't what bothered him any more. The topic had moved on to the bigger demon's claim he was from the future; from his brief foray into the world of time magic, Asterius had retained some knowledge of the theory, most particularly causality. Cause and effect. If the claim was true, then...

"Surely you realise what you've done?"

The three looked at him in confusion; he had just burst out with it. Capitalising on their momentary silence, Asterius continued. "If you are from in the future, think about this - everything you do here affects something in the future as well, and over eight thousand years, Lis only knows how it could play out. Hell, maybe there's a riot at the prison going on now that I should have been there to help stop - because of you, it might be that the prisoners killed all my friends and colleagues, and now they run the prison. Think about how big an effect THAT could have."

iesu just sighed as he leaned back "One of the major time Hypotheses we haqve in my time is 'If you go back in time and you try to stop yourself from doing it it will only get worse in your future.' Which means if your already crashing through the atmosphere through a time pod, it cant get any worse than that." He gave a slight chuckle "The funniest thing is that they told me and Al that they recovered this in an Archeological dig."

"Recovered what in a Acheological dig?"
Now Mana was confused, but she did agree that things had gotten screwed up. In all honesty, if the body everyone had been fighting over was just destroyed, then things might get better. She didnt really care what happened to the future girl , but Keisu sure did.
"So how do you know this cat-demon any ways? You seem to be very fond of her. She related to you or something?," she asked.

"to answer your first question. It was the parts to the ships we found in a dig." Kiesu said "And to answer your second question she was pretty much the only friend I had. After the first thousand years of being threatened and chased by the humans who still didnt agree i pretty much locked myself in. away from the world. She was the only one who was ever nice to me really."

Mana leaned on the wall, exspecting a story.

Anasti looked at all three of his passengers, and laughed.. “Time travel, That’s a real good one, The only way I could do It would require me to go back to The Ship, and try to get the Gellar field working, but that is impossible… anyway Mana, what did you mean that poltics is usless?

"I've had bad exsperiences with politics. I've learned that most leaders are idiotic people who do nothing but mess things up. All the one's I've met anyways. They're just figureheads that are controled by the people who really run things. But then they get cocky and start doing things on their own, like passig stupid laws and starling wars. Then the whole society falls apart."

"So what would you prefer?" spat Asterius, a mix of anger and derision in his voice. "A society where everyone has equal power and there can be no laws, no law enforcement? Face it - the only reason you think leaders are idiots is because you're too small-minded to see the big picture." Considering it was a discussion about politics, the elf was surprisingly riled up about what the smaller demon had just said.

"Actually yes, I would prefer a society were everyone has equal power. And I'm not small minded," She said, surprisingly calmly," I'm pretty open. Just because you dont agree with my view point doesnt mean you need to try and insult me. Besides, I'm used to insults anyways. It's not like they really affect me."

"Aw, isn't that sweet? The demon's a socialist! Well, diddums," mocked Asterius, "I guess I've gotta teach you the facts of life all over again. Y'see, it's human...demon nature to want. Not anything specifically, just to want more than other people; indirectly, it's the desire to be better than them, and the misconception people have is that socialism can defeat this nature. Well, sweetheart," he continued, leaning in closer, "thousands of people have tried to suppress human nature by thousands of methods, and it's never worked. Socialism just don't work because you always want more, and if you say you're happy having an exactly equal amount to everyone else..."

Asterius snorted with a little laugh. "...then you're just a liar."

She just shrugged. "And your point is? I dont really care. I never said I was a socialist. Just stating an opinion. I never said it would work. Do you have anger problems or something? Cause you're gettin' angry over a stupid conversation. If I said your view was wrong and that it was stupid, there would be something to get angry about, but I'm not. So what's the point? It's not like your little speech is gonna change my view on things. Or my perception for that matter."
She leaned on her arm, changing to a lying position.
"This is getting borring. When are we going to get to... where ever we're going?"

"Whoa, whoa, whoa," shouted Asterius. "No, you can't just back out like that - you said leaders are idiotic people who don't know what's best for their society, I want to know why. You can't just say something like that then say "I don't care about your opinion"! Talk! And you, demon," he continued, turning to the bigger of the two, fully in the swing of his righteous anger by now, "I've already told you you're NOT taking this demon anywhere except to her prison cell, and if you want to argue with MY elders, you can talk yourself hoarse from another cell!"

[srsly. I'd guess we only get there when Ryand lets us know, and this is fun.]
