Oliver J. Halexxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Spencer King xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxDebbie Price-Hale

The History
Oliver and Debbie met in middle school and had an instant connection, much to Ollie's parent's chagrin. While the Hale's weren't high class they definitely weren't from the southside. Debbie was. The oldest of four children that grew up in a drug den, Debbie spent most of her childhood in and out of the system and doing her best to keep her family together. Despite being mostly street trash she was smart and had a no-bullshit personality that got her through life. After high school she ended up in the red light district, working two or three different poles.

Oliver grew up in a picture perfect, 2.5 children, white picket fence situation. Which was perfect, but only from the outside looking in. Ollie's parents had a closer relationship with society as a whole than with their children, and while his sister fit in perfectly, Oliver himself did not. Gay from the day he was born, he immediately became a problem. While his parents were never physically abusive, the emotional element took a toll on Oliver. Debbie's protective nature drew the two together, and he spent a year after high school using photoshop to convince his parents he was in college while really he was living in a too-small apartment with Debbie and five other girls.

The charade couldn't last forever of course, and when shit went down Debbie eventually told Oliver just to marry her. It would legally tie them together and solve some other problems, including health insurance and tax issues. It took some convincing, but Ollie eventually gave in. However, unforeseeable by either of them, Oliver's parents took the news...interestingly. Suddenly he was being treated the way he'd always wanted to be as a child, and even though they still didn't particularly like Debbie, they welcomed her with open arms. Their son had finally seen the light, and "saved his soul."

Granted, it wasn't paradise, and the drama started quick. It was Debbie who brought up opening a brothel, as a joke to make Ollie's parents hate them again. But one conversation turned into two, and then logistics started falling into place. Together they decided they wanted to run an all male business, after seeing what Ollie himself had gone through and many other gay kids on the street. It was still just talking, until one night Oliver was called by the police. Debbie was in the hospital.

She was bruised and bloody but okay, and more shaken than he'd ever seen her in his life. Not out of fear, but out of anger. She never told him what happened that night, but the other girl that had been with her died three days later. Not long after, she sat down in front of him and with conviction, told Ollie that their boys would never have to see the things she had.

After that, "just talking" became serious. They planned, they figured out the costs, they scouted buildings. They wanted a legitimate business, one that worked legal-aged boys and ran background checks. One that took care of every worker that crossed their doorstep. Their only problem? Money.

Enter Spencer King, a trust fund baby and an only child of a couple of business owners. After he turned eighteen they packed up and moved to France, and Spencer moved to Chicago for the culture. He was spending time in his favorite bar for a few nights a week when he finally realized what the Loud Couple in the back were talking about. Having more money than he knew what to do with (and steadily coming in), Spencer finally decided he'd found something he wanted to invest in.

The three didn't become immediate friends. Debbie was wary, Oliver was smitten, and Spencer had never met anyone quite like them. But as time went by and Hale's House went up, they realized they'd created something real between the three of them. Something great. Hale's is still considered a 'secret' these days, but it runs well enough the owners are extremely wealthy. The three of them own a house just outside of the city. Debbie and Oliver are still married, and have a three year old son named Luca (who spends lots of mornings at the House - its easier than a babysitter, and lord knows she cant leave him alone with the men), and Oliver and Spencer have been in a committed relationship for years.

Hale's House
Oliver spends most of his nights at the House, usually at a table in the lounge, well dressed and supplied with alcohol. Most of the Boys joke that he's like an eccentric uncle - technically in charge but generally causing just as much trouble as the children. When he's actually working he's most often conducting interviews for new Boys. He has a particular soft spot for stays, and often brings in the ones he knows need it. He's generally sassy and upbeat, but a particularly good listener and always willing to do something for his Boys.

Spencer is most often around during the day. He checks in on the Boys at least once and is in charge of making sure they have anything they need as far as the building goes. Despite the fact that each of them make above decent pay checks, Spencer is known for spoiling them - especially around Christmas time. Basically a fly on the wall, anything a Boy says they want in a public space, they usually get. He's also good at knowing when someone's in trouble, and he will act on that information. He doesn't care if it ruins a personal relationship, as long as he can save a life. (A bit of a gossip, Spencer will also occasionally hang in the Lounge to catch up on the latest news).

Debbie Price is not the kind of woman you fuck with. When Ollie brings strays in, it's her who takes care of them. This can range from making sure they know the ropes to getting them clean. (While Hale's doesn't specifically have a No Drugs Policy, Debbie isn't messing with them, and neither are her Boys). She's just as likely to give a hug as she is knock someones lights out, and when the cards fall she'll use tough love to pick her kids back up. She loves each of them fiercely and is a one woman army when shit goes down. If any man lays a hand on one of her Boys in the wrong way, there will be hell to pay. Officially, Debbie works the bar. This is to keep an eye on the Boyfriends mostly, and to intervene if one of her kids are uncomfortable. She has a Zero Tolerance Policy and in Hale's House, the costumers are never right; her Boys are.

{SECURITY}

Image

Tito Rodriquez || Front Door
Tito is in charge of knowing the Boys nightly schedules and screening every client that comes through the doors. Of course, sleazebags still get though, but Tito's presence keeps it at a minimum. He's the first layer of security.

Lounge
Elliot Randez & Felix Glen
Felix and Elliot are in charge of making sure Client's behave in the Lounge. This includes enforcing 'no touch' policies set by the Boys.
ImageImage
Dancers
Andre Corzo & Caleb Gosse
Andre and Caleb join the Dancers when they go off House property. They're also available to the Rent Boys if needed.

Upstairs
Xavier Kruz & Shawn West
Excluding the Hale's, Xavier and Shawn are the only people to have a master key to the bedrooms upstairs. They make sure the Boys are safe, and intervene if things go south.

Ian Washington || Penthouse
x
Ian is in charge of making sure no one goes up to the penthouse who isn't allowed. He mainly works nights, although his post is watched during the day. The Boys are all known by face, and of course welcome to take anyone they like in their personal space, but no unescorted guests are allowed unless they've been pre-approved.

{OTHER STAFF}

ImageImage
Waitstaff || Bartender
Dallas Johnson & Rolland Benjamin
While both jobs cycle through different shifts, Dallas and Rolland are the full time workers and the ones best known by the Boys.

{OUTSIDE STAFF}

Lawyer || Physican
Noble Jackson & Vincent Fisher
For emergency situations, these two are on the Hale's payroll and always on call. It's come in handy more times than anyone would like to admit. Noble and Vincent are the best.
