ExLine:HERO was never meant to be a sequel to ExLine. Rather, the developing team wanted to use their large following to gather a team for their side venture. Project Iris. Testing candidates through a series of mental and physical puzzles, they were seeking the best of the best. Project Iris is a secret project by ExLine Corporation in an effort to create artificial superheroes to form their own vigilante group to combat criminals with exceptional abilities that would otherwise never be caught. They're run and funded solely by the members of the original ExLine development team.
Your character will be one of the four successful applicants and will take place one month after each member has manifested their powers and has gone back to their daily lives. So as to protect their identities should one of the members defect, the only interaction members have had is over the ExLine App under their codenames. Their first meeting as members will take place during the first arc, although they may have known each other before as their alter ego. Because of this, there will be two different post formats, one for the ExLine chat app and one for real life actions.
The story will play out in arcs of varying lengths, and information on each will be posted in the Arcs section of the OOC. For each arc there will likely be a new temporary character, so should you be interested in playing one on the side or were unable to get a spot as a main character please message me. :)x
