A M A Y A . K Y O T S U K I — fate would bring them to be born of the same mother, but Alize would not know of the Starkeeper that bore him a sibling, if only with half his blood. Their knowledge of each other would come later, when they would be brought together to find Gawain's lost child. Amaya would be the only family he truly felt at home in. No disappointment in her eyes, no entrapment in her arms, just a girl as icy as his skin.

L I L I T H . A V E R E S C U — friend. What a strange word on his tongue, but yet his cold heart longed for the same iciness he could find in her. Midnight conversations of finding a new home in the human realm, but he always seemed to want it more. The only person that seemed to have a normal amount of care for him was the same one that spoke his name in court when the lord asked for deserters. He would not know. Alize would only enjoy the familiar presence of cold that came with Lilith Averescu, when the Earth had been freezing him out.

O R H I E N . N A E N A — even a common criminal has heard of madra rua, more of a shadowing myth than a person. Alize always kept one eye behind his back for the bounty hunter without realizing that he was already out for his blood. Thankfully, a rather unfortunate set of events occurred before he could be sniffed out, but this would not be the last he heard of Orhien. In fact, he would come face to face with the fae once he's recruited for the mission.

I L L Y A N A . B Á R Á N Y — it wasn't chance that brought Illyana and Mariko together, but the whisperings of fae and the shared ability to see through their glamours. That first day, after her hesitation passed and they had traded past tales as she showed Ily her sketches, Mari felt a weight shift from her shoulders. It wasn't just her that could see these phantom fae. Now, they share stories of magic beings that normal humans would not believe, while enjoying activities wildly enjoyed by their mundane peers: drinking, gossiping, watching reality television shows together. Friends.

T A E . J E O N G — alcohol is an amazing social lubricant, and nothing draws two people together like helping design a permanent piece of art for the other's body. Tae's tattoo held Mari's input, and as the tattooist marked Tae's skin, he spoke of his life in an alcohol-induced admission. Amongst his words she heard 'fae'. They have been friends since, judging future brides on their choices in 'Say yes to the dress', and helping the other when the situation requires it - taxes, power outages, hangover cures.

A L I Z E . M O R L E A Ú — she has seen the towering fae of ice as he walks around the city, it's hard to miss the 12 foot being. His height is intimidating, but curiosity makes Mari stand and watch as he passes with his pack of dogs. Surely no fierce giant would be so soft to a pack of excitable canines? Nor did her intimidation heighten when she chanced to say hello when the urge to pet a particularly adorable dog took hold. Perhaps she will draw the courage to speak to the fae at some point.
