Upon first meeting him, he comes across as charasmatic, intelligent, friendly, and just an all around person one would want for company. He knows what to say, and when to say it. He's a charmer and a very enthusiastic individual. Always declaring to see the best in people, and their potential to do good in the world and that they have a great future ahead of them. All, which is true. He's a very honest person and doesn't shy away from the truth when he compliments someone on their job well done. He'll give them a firm handshake, pat on the back and an honest compliment before moving on.
He's a sweet-talker, and isn't afraid to give a little extra flare to boost someone's ego. Always the opportunist to gain another person that has the potential for greatness on his side. Always willing to help those around him that have fallen on hard times and give them a well paying job and status in society. But his true motives behind them are much more complex than simply wanting to
do good or do the right thing. Anyone that truly knows him behind the mask of this charasmatic individual that wants to better the Wizard World, knows his true stances and motives. If he can manipulate someone into bending to his will and orders, all while with a smile on his face as he brings someone into the fold and bring them under his wing, then who's to stop him?
He's truly everything a Pure-Blood wizard strives to be, especially from coming from a long line of Slytherins and successful wizards and witches. To him, family is second to his position and job, as he didn't get to be so high up in the Minsitry of Magic for nothing. But even his true motives and connections to the darker side of the wizarding world is unknown to his family, as he swore he was done with that part of his life. But little do they know the truth, and he'd prefer it to stay that way.
Carol Carter | #d60277 | Mother
- Warm - Caring - Friendly - Genuine - Motherly - Selfless - Loyal - By comparison to her ex-husband, Carol is far less radicalized than him. She doesn't hold the same views as he does on blood status or blood purity, and is a much warmer presence than Lucas ever was. The two always had marital problems, so when the two eventually seperated when Jessie was younger, it wasn't much of a shock. The divorce had her daughters rather shaken up, but the three of them began to heal over time as Carol had won custody over her two daughters. Safe and away from their father that was less than
kind, to put it lightly.
But over time, as Lucas had straightened out his ways, he seemed to redeem himself in Carol's eyes and the two have more or less patched things up, but have remained seperated since. Carol works a humble job as a Healer at St. Mungo's, and manages to make it by due to occasional help from Lucas.
While she is no saint by any means, to Carol, her family, especially her daughters are her world and she will fight tooth and nail to keep them safe at all costs. She's come a long way in terms of righting all of her wrongs. She's there to support her children every step of the way, and has been Jessie's biggest support while at Hogwarts, even if the two do tend to butt-heads every now and then. Carol loves her children with all of her heart, and just wants to see them do good in the world.
Rachel Carter | #4186a3 | Sister
- Daring - Adventurous - Curious - Brave - Loyal - Stubborn - Protective - As for Rachel, even from a young age she was a handful. And that's putting it lightly. So, it wasn't much of a surprise when she was sorted into Gryffindor when she arrived at Hogwarts for her first year. She was determined to make a name for herself and do better than her father had at Hogwarts, as his name is rather well known among the school halls for less than spectacular reasons.
Through and through, Rachel has every quality of a Gryffindor. She's bold and loud, determined and thick headed at the best of times, and dense and stubborn in the worst of times. She's always there for those she considers a friend, and her sister is no exception. She remembered getting the letter of Jessie being sorted into Slytherin and was excited to see her excel in her school years. Hoping for the best that she could help Slytherin clean up its act, and wasn't surprised when she got letters back from Jessie in her second year of her and a few friends making a new name for Slytherin, as well as getting on the Quidditch team. Happy to see that her younger sister had followed in her footsteps of being a Quidditch player, Rachel has had her back every step of the way since day one.
Even after all these years, and spending so much time away from home, travelling all over the EU and living in Belgum helping raise and tame Dragons, she's found herself happily planted in a world that she can be as reckless as she wants and feel adrenaline course through her veins every day, as dragons are no easy beast to look after. And with the Hogwarts Tournament coming up soon enough, Rachel knows what's to come and is excited to return to her old stomping grounds, even if it is only for a little while...
