Leaderboard: Battle System/EXP Distributor

Note: This Battle system is borrowed from 4ever4gotten.

BATTLE SYSTEM:


Attacker: This will consist Prepping and Attacking. (1-2 Posts)
*Prepping: The time and things needed to launch an attack, some attacks need longer timing (You decide, but be realistic).

*Attacking: Detailed information on the attack (Stance, momentum, direction, method of attack, etc.). Usually, simple and quick attacks are able to be prepped and launched in the same post, but much stronger attacks need a prepping post and a launching post(Basically two posts).

Defender: This will consist Defending, Evading, and Countering. (1Post)
Defending: Detailed information on the defensive move (Stance, method, and desired outcome). Must be consistent of previous stance (Ex: If a character was lying on the floor he/she must find a way to defend against a attack while on the floor). When defending you have the choice of a complete evade, partial evade, or counter-attacking.
*Complete Evade: The evading of the attack completely resulting in the defender obtaining no damage, keep in mind not all attacks are completely evadable especially if the situation is against the defender. If the defender completely evades an attack their available action is to prep for a attack (Leaves you open, even simple attacks cannot be performed right after a complete evade) or escaping the attacker by placing some distance between them.

*Partial Evade: The partial evading or blocking of an attack resulting in minimum damage (Can still be devastating) instead of taking the full force behind the attack. This in turn allows the defender to take a second action which is limited to attacking back with a simple attack, restricting the attacker, or escaping the attacker by placing some distance between them.

*Countering: A ability that characters with battle experience under their belt can execute and these actions must be realistic and clearly understood. Countering is able to be performed if the defender is expecting the attack and has the experience to counter it, most counters end up with the defender obtaining medium damage since the defender's main objective is not evading the attacker instead it's inflicting damage to the attacker.

PvP: Player vs. Player

PvP battles involve only two players and it is done over PM. You gain experience from these battles. If you can't decide between the two of you who wins then request a GM to make the decision for you. When the battle is finished, one of you will copy and paste all the messages into the Battleground. Wins and Losses will be recorded by GMs.
