Campus
The school campus of Karma high is huge, the size of a village actually, since it must also accommodate comfortable living quarters for both students and teachers. A few shops are even present, such as a cafe' and basic necessities outlet. The architexture is a mixture of European influence mixed into Indian and chinese traditional structure. By no means is any part of the school shabby.
Around the entire parameter of the campus ground is a thick brick wall, with the only entrance as a gate located at the front of the school. An invisible spiritual shield also protects the school from Djinn entering, while the brick wall is simply to keep students in, and give the feeling of safety. The spiritual shield comes from what is burried under the campus, and remains the school's dark secret.
Deep in the vast library of Karma High, you might come across a book of the school's history. In that book, it explains how one of the great goddesses, Pavarti, had a darker side to her. This dark side took the form of Kali, a Djinn fighting warrior woman. But unfortunately the goddess' lust for violence did not stop there, after defeating the Djinn King she continued on her rampage, this time killing without descrimination or mercy. She would drink the blood of her victims and hunger for more, only becoming more frenzied each time. A magician managed to trick the goddess into drinking wine instead of blood one night, and she became drunk. The magician locked her up and sealed her away down below the earth, and it is where the school's campus resides. Legend has it that the goddess is now furious and vengeful, and struggles against her bonds more each year. Though on one hand her spiritual presence keeps Djinn away, the other side of her coin is that if she were to ever get out, she'd rain terror on all things with breath. So she is both a good and bad thing.
Classes
Classes are held Monday-Thursday, from nine in the morning to four in the evening. Core classes such as Language studies, Arithmetic, Science, and History/Geography are taken by every student regardless of their year, and are in their own level. Many extra courses are also offered, just about anything you so happen to fancy. Many clubs are also open, and it is required of everyone to at least be in one club. Fridays have no class so that you may do club activities comfortably and get extra work done. You are expected to train on your own and are taught in Gym class when it comes to fighting, and it is advised that you do not miss a single day in your training regime, lest you become weak and vulnerable.
