This ooc space is restricted to posting from GMs only. Other roleplayers please do not EVER post in this section as it could cause confusion.

Here we will be posting announcements or events happening in the roleplay that you must be made aware of.
This is the perfect place to turn to if you are a bit lost.
If you have further questions, please take it to the main ooc or check the FAQs ooc I will be adding in case your question has already been answered.

WHEN POSTING:

For when we initiate roleplay, we require all participants to post with the following at the top of their post.

You may use colour in this heading if you want to.


We also require when you mention another character to make it very clear. If your character does not yet know the name of the other character, please put their name in brackets so we know who you are talking about.

eg. John saw the most beautiful girl he had ever seen on the school grounds with long flowing golden hair, and eyes that shined like diamonds (Kirsty).

This way it will be easy to know despite the many characters who your own character is interacting with.
You could simply perform a Ctrl+F on your keyboard, type in your character's first name in the bar and the posts referring to you and where will be highlighted.

I ALSO CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH!
BUT it is perfectly fine to have your character crush on someone who likes someone else. This is fantastic for plot development! I do not see this happen naturally enough in roleplays so far. Bring on the jealousy!

Since we are coming sooo close to starting to roleplay.

I'm going to inform you what's going to happen in the first few posts.

FOR JUNIORS:
1. Your arrival at school
2. Make your way to the school hall using a map or be guided by a friend or better yet follow the directional signs the teachers have put with chalk on the ground for you.
3. Seat yourself on the left side of the hall and wait for teacher announcements to get settled into your 'pairing'.
4. Wait for the senior to locate you
5. Junior + Senior partnering activities begin.

FOR SENIORS:
1. Your arrival at school and/or your help in cleaning up the hall, propping up the chairs etc for the welcoming of juniors.
2. Collect activity materials from the front off a teacher that you will need for later along with a photo of your assigned junior.
3. Seat yourself on the right side of the hall and wait for teacher announcements.
4. Find your junior.
5. Junior + Senior partnering activities begin.

The numbers are just a listing of the things that will happen. It does not mean 1. first post or anything. During this time you can socialise whenever you want to, even during announcements just like in a real school. If you have questions please post it in main ooc.

Hey! I'd just like to point out that none of the seniors are aware of the activities yet for the Junior + Senior program so the characters are pretty much waiting to be given instructions.

Do not get confused! What Varthur and Jay were saying was that they hope it's not one of those Q&A sheets not that it is. Please edit if necessary! The papers are actually BLANK D:

JUNIOR + SENIOR ACTIVITIES.

FIRST ACTIVITY: Writing something nice about your assigned junior/senior. Remember to give it to them when you are done.
Afterwards when you get yours you can keep it, chuck it, laminate and place on your wall and make a dedicated shrine.. etc.

SECOND ACTIVITY: Oh ho ho.. This is gonna be fun!
I won't give away the surprise and it took a longdebate between Val and I before we came up with it. BUT I will say during this activity you will meet more people for sure as it requires teamwork. Yes.. i think I should do another random draw!

After the three legged sack race, we're having a picnic then everyone can go home for early dismissal.
Going home, you can invite someone over to your place, walk someone home. Have fun with the freedom :-)
Then Val or I will signal morning. Don't worry about getting your character to bed if morning has already passed, you can just timeskip to the morning.
We'll also be like the supreme overlords of this roleplay universe bwahaha. A bit much? I actually just mean controlling the weather and whatnot. This is just so its not always a perfect sunny day and also so other rp characters won't clash in their weather reports (one says it's rainy other say it's not)
We're gonna just say we basically all live around the same town.
WHICH is another opportunity.. maybe you bump into a fellow student on the way to school and want to share an umbrella. Have fun with this seriously guys. Lot's of opportunities.

SO after this junior and senior program, we have early dimissal then whatever you guys decide to do with your characters until morning and school time.
The next school day will be normal. Need I remind you the schedules will be like this:

For that school day after this current roleplay day, it'll be completely normal. On final period, go to whatever club/team you want that is considered áctive' in the ooc. If you have two clubs or more active just choose 1 to attend on that day. If you don't feel like attending a club you can go straight home (but chances are you won't be elected captain later on) When captains and stuff are elected there will be certain roleplay days for meetings.
Day after that we'll have the beach excursion. Get excited ;)

These are randomised locations. Note that buildings are close to each other depending on closeness in the alphabet.
Eg. Building A and B are right beside each other. Building A cannot see Building C therefore Building C cannot see Building A. Maybe in a layout this is muddled
but since this is a roleplay, it is just to keep things more simple. This is a simple system for if you are on say Level 1 of building A
and want to look across to spy on a girl in the Level 1 window of building B. Etc. LOL
It may feel generic and boring to have a schedule but keep in mind not every day will be a regular school day, there will be events
that will keep things interesting and subjects that will be missed for it.

Regarding classes, please note that teachers will not always show up and depending on your character's circumstances, are free to not always show up for their own reasons.
During classes with a teacher present, you may continue to engage in conversation with your fellow peers but keep in mind the teacher's personality. If you have one of the Mr. Swatos for instance, your character would probably talk among the class freely unlike if you have Ms. Roselle where you might be more careful in how you communicate. Maybe pass notes or whisper. Remember you gain 1 intellect point per post with your character attending a class with a teacher.
Also, the start and end of classes and/or start and end of breaks and lunches will be signaled in GM posts so keep an eye out for those. We will underline, bold and maybe even resize it to make sure it's noticeable.

The next event after the beach will be the class president elections.
We were planning to do club captains as well but most clubs are inactive at this point so it may have to be postponed.

Just letting you know the event is going to be realistic.
Nominees will be required to give out a speech in front of the whole school and the days before the election votes, will have to hand out fliers or badges or whatever their character prefers to prepare and utilise to win over the student body.

So as of now in early preparation, we would like those who express interest in their character becoming a class president to speak now or forever hold their peace o=
It is not just a fancy title, you will actually be helping run future events in the roleplay on behalf of the other seniors and juniors you represent.
If we do not get at least two for juniors and two to run for seniors (More can run but we need at least two each) then we will do an ooc gather up of nominations where everyone chooses two for each out of the active 10.

Everyone else who doesn't make the nomination can still be involved by supporting their preferred nominee. More information will be provided when the time comes.

Momo will be running, I am not sure if Vic will be running Varthur but we ask that you do not place bias on us as GMs but that when the time comes for votes, that your vote goes towards your character's opinion and judgement of our characters. I do not think any bias will happen so it is a just in case message that I hope will keep the roleplay competitive environment comfortable. Thankyou. :)

Relationship Statuses should frequently change as drama like this happens so!
I would like everyone when they update this section in their profiles, to update the part where it says Acquaintance/Friend/Enemy/Rival etc
But keep the thoughts that were there, and add the new thoughts underneath.

Reasoning behind Spin the Bottle rearrangement:
I put the new characters Mizuki and Sebastian together out of convenience/ so the game doesn’t draw out too long.
Then with the new character Kaoru, I didn’t want to change the Mizuki and Sebastian arrangement just to even out luck as I approach the post earlier done to be a definite of what is to come unless the other character becomes unavailable and I wouldn’t want to be misleading so left it the way it is, undisturbed.
Then I just drew one for Kaoru so he gets a sure shot in.
Then I randomly drew extras to take over Kaien’s loss.

IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT SPIN THE BOTTLE!
Guys when the time comes for nightfall, I expect both players to be able to contribute to the kiss.
Like one player may initiate the kiss, the other roleplayer concludes the kiss just so it is fair. It is fine in the rules so long as it is concluded in the following post reaction. I want it to work this way so both character personalities contribute. thanks

There will be a prom but much later in the roleplay (when couples have already been well established) The Valentines Ball will be much more formal/classy. Traditional dance will be applied like waltz. When prom comes around, it will be more casual with modern day dance music.

After much discussion..
Vic and I have decided to introduce... 'mini events' if you will.

Mini events will be like short instances/quests/missions within the roleplay that are 'out of the ordinary'.
An example may be a ghost in the school lurking around the time of Halloween. Keep in mind however, we won't be giving that information out when the mini event is in session (We won't say its a ghost, that spoils the whole idea).
We will simply introduce a temporary new character from time to time (At rare moments) that will come with such a story and leave it up to you guys to crack as a team or on your own.

The reward of cracking the mystery?
Well we're still not definite but the idea so far is that you will have a say on the next event and us GMs will comply with whatever event you choose so long as it is suitable and not inappropriate. :) If a duo, you should decide together what you're after, if more than two individual cracks it as a team then it is majority rules. Teams are limited to 3 persons so you will have to keep a few secrets together. But who knows, you may have your character accidentally give out information to an opposing team but your chosen partner(s) in solving the case will be collecting the reward with you so best not to do that?

How to crack the mystery?
Communication. Most clues will be given by the temporary character themself but maybe another character in roleplay has figured out something you haven't. If they have, it is theirs and you cannot allow your character to work it out after reading their post and agreeing with it. The only way to have your character gain hold of information that another character has, is to get it from them themselves.
In other words, you have to either gather information from the temporary character or gather from another character who is willing to share that information with you.

How to submit the mystery I've cracked?
If you believe you have cracked the mystery, just post your solution normally in roleplay as your character reaches said conclusion and approach the temporary character to confirm it. In which we will either confirm or deny it.

What happens to the relationship built with said temporary character?
That temporary character will as mysteriously as they came, vanish. If you have come around to like that character and want to see them again, you may request it and they may show up for another short period of time just to socialise with again when the GM in control of that character has time on their hands to spare.

The reward of cracking the mystery? EDITED

1. You will have a say on the next event and us GMs will comply with whatever event you choose so long as it is suitable and not inappropriate.
2. You will gain 4-8 STAT points to distribute wherever you want.
If you play two characters, the STAT points only go to the one character that solved the case. You cannot use two characters to your advantage to gain information. To avoid this, you may enter only one character in solving the case and the other must have no involvement.
3. Under construction. Open to suggestions.

RULES:
If solved solo, you will decide what event and gain 8 STAT points.
If a duo, you should decide together what you're after for event. You will gain 6 STAT points each.
If a trio, it is majority rules for event. You will gain 4 STAT points each.

You cannot team up with GM characters as it would be unfair (since we already know the answer)
