Mass Effect: On the Edge Soundtrack

The perfect song can make the perfect scene practically epitastical (that's my new word... epitastical; short for epitasticalicious). My authors and I are currently scouting out the best dramatic, epic, inspirational, and harmonious music scores out there to attach to our story. This OOC thread will organize each of those tracks according to character, scene, or environment, and will be updated frequently as we find more tracks. You'll find quick cues instructing you to play a specific track while reading the story. Some of the these tracks are labed as "To be Revealed", meaning that we're not giving you any hints as to which scene that track will apply to until the scene is published. You are welcome to listen to it ahead of time, of course, in order to keep you on the edge (no pun intended... well, okay, sorta). Ones that are listed (and titled) but not cued up yet in the IC may be meant for a previous scene in the original story, or are about to be used for an upcoming scene. In the list below, you'll find famous compositions from well-known song writers, even original scores from the Mass Effect games. All tracks are hosted on SoundCloud; just click the link next to the designated, unofficial "title" to listen to it.


Character Theme Songs - These tracks are cued for specific scenes, but apply solely to an individual character to exonerate their moment in the spotlight.

Environments - These tracks are mostly uncued, meaning that you can play them during any of the matching environments. For instance, when one of the Commanders is speaking with the Illusive Man via the quantum entanglement communicator, you can begin playing "The Illusive Man" (composed by Jack Wall, and played during all of the scenes where Shepard conversed with the enigmatic leader of Cerberus).
