To start, In every roleplay I always give my posting rules... and as such I expect you who chose to participate in this RP, to follow them.

--POSTING--

Guys as i said before try to post every day or two. If you can't post for a while, be sure to at least tell us or PM me, and make sure your character is not going to stall others. (Making them wait for the remaining time you're away).

Try to type three good/decent paragraphs with detail. (Dialogue has its exceptions)

By exception for dialogue, I know it gets frustrating trying to reply to someone through dialogue and asking yourself how to work up three paragraphs for a easy question. Don't worry i understand that but at least be descriptive in your answers. Thats the least i can ask for when it comes to such answers but there are ways to length out your paragraph and thats by giving good visuals and inside thoughts.

At the beginning of the post, then continue your post as normal. When stating area you can be general or place a sub area to be more specific in case people wont automatically assume they're close to you which shouldn't happen.

When describing someone your character may not know, just describe the person as your character may see them to be. Please put the character your describing in paranthesis.

Ex. Medusa notices a small boy who held a lollipop in his mouth across the street (Kon). (Kon is someone i made up).

Another example is if your character is in thought. Just follow the same process. You should know if your character is thinking it, there should be " " in italics.

When your in battle and say your beginning a ability. Be sure to describe how your character is doing the ability, the sounds one may hear if near, the environment effect it may have, etc.

Ex. Goku, begins screaming while crinching his fist. The pressure of wind increases around him as his aura intensifies. The earth begins to partially rise as his energy grow. Suddenly, his hair begins to brighten changing into a blonde color and his eyes go green. Suddenly his a explosions occurs and goku stands in anger looking towards Frieza (Super Saiyan).

This will further be explained as I continue...


The max level is 75

Remember as I said how the RP isn't entirely combat heavy. Therefore a new means for EXP is going to be placed...

Every post you make will give you 1 EXP. Every 5 EXP you gain a level. So your first post will be …

EXP: 1/5

Once you reach 5 … you level up.

There will be times as a GM – I will reward you EXP for completion of bosses and tasks that are complete. This doesn't mean make your character do everything successfully because thats just not possible.. I will be watching your RP. So at the beginning I wont be rewarding task checks...

When you level up – You may add 1 point to any of your base attributes... Know you can not exceed your maximum... In addition to adding a point in your base stats you will have to calculate your added HP and if you have it, MP.

For HP when you level up – after assigning your point – Do your job's HP die rule – whatever the result is add that after x2 vitality (HP Die roll + VIT x2)

For MP It will be your Job's (MP die + SPR)

All derived stats... P.ATK, P.DEF, M.ATK, M.DEF – Automatically get + 2.. So never get confused if it's not exactly 2xstr for damage after level 1... Basically on level 2 it'll be (2xstr+2) for level 3 (2xstr+4) etc, etc.

Currency – As you may notice, there isn't a gil tab... This doesn't mean you have unlimited gil – Its more-so that you just got to RP whatever you may buy – if you do for whatever reason and often you should know how poor or rich your character is... If you're an adventurer or mercenary... you probably won't have a lot on pocket as opposed to a noble who left her home knowing she'll need a bit in her purse or perhaps you're of the mage college.. Know its not like our college where tuition kicks in but you know for a fact that you won't be one to go on missions... you're basically cloistered in with studies.




Now as I said in RP that traits will fall to me at times when Rping and depending on the situation – I will the one to drag in some of your traits time to time to where you as a Rper must reply to it as well as the group near you... Some traits are personality traits in which its all up to you to roleplay it out. If I see you're going against what your trait is – I will PM you to fix it other wise remove the trait. On some traits its situational and often shown to be work arounds... these traits will be completely dependent on me. This means I will say something like...

Bottomless Pockets
Effect: You never realize how valuable a strategically-bent piece of wire is until you’re staring at the inside of a locked prison door. In keeping with this philosophy, the character has an odd or end for every situation.

EXAMPLE: (Kisa, While trapped inside a a cage. You realize that one of the bars holding you is crooked and could easily be pulled a part)

Know situations wont be that easy but you know.

Personal traits... Some of us will have to follow such as Charismatic or Beauty... This is where our characters may notice this but know we all have different preferences of course being humanoids... This is one reason I expect everyone to keep up and read everyone's profile.



I already explained skills and task checks but to summarize... just be fair and know just because you're good in a skill doesn't make you a multi-class. These task checks will be very significant to how you complete certain things... As you know there is a difficult/mastery of every skill..

So example... You may have chose fencer... but if you don't get at least 11-15 points in sword skill your fencing be below average. Which is normal for anyone... You can't just pick up a weapon and suddenly all of a sudden know how to use it... Also your stat goes along with it... You could have good skill level but if the stat doesn't comply you may find things to be difficult to keep up with.

So acting for example... You could have 25 points in it and mastered it but if you have lesser spirit – you may find yourself doubting yourself and there fore could screw your performance... I'm not saying this will always happen but its what makes since...

Another example is Alchemy or crafting.. although you could be very knowledgeable in the topic you could actually screw it up.. So if you mastered alchemy and find yourself being full of yourself and you could've made it nearly perfect if it wasn't for the fact that you forgot that last part which had to be done in the beginning!

Usually for skills I will ask for your character or characters with the ability to do a task check before reacting to the event going on.

One note about gambling... this doesn't just mean dice rolling and what not – It could be diplomatic where we're in a situation where theres just one hero outside of the cage as the rest of us are in a cage about a pit of lava...

You can gamble our lives as a bluff yet failure will end bad... Often as a GM I could do saves but there will be times where I wont care and will go with whatever...

That being said... our characters CAN die permanently which means you'll have to recreate a character – When this happens Level will transfer over.. Your character won't appear until after the scene (Most likely in your nation... I will be sure to direct the RP there...)




When it comes to boss fights – Be sure to go in an orderly fashion... at the beginning I suggest adding...

So you can keep up with how much HP you have..

I will be giving monster's stats at the beginning and depending on what's going on I will control the monster. In addition to combat control, I will be explaining the environment, what we see , hear, smell etc. Until the boss or monster is done and dead....

The way it will work is we'll obviously go through the scene but if a important scene starts I'll let you know when combat starts... When it does I'll start off by saying the bosses/monster's actions first and I'll explain my own actions too. In addition I will give the monster's stats at the bottom...

After each of us who are in the battle have posted depending on what happened will determine the monsters remaining HP and his retaliation. Know this is real time... Its not a simple we take turns and stand in a line... So I suggest spell casters only cast one or two spells a post... Everything has a casting time... so be fair with it.. Strategically if a mage stood back and let the melee do the fighting, they would have the freedom to cast unless the mob we're fighting wised up or noticed...

Also know for speed and agility I will be looking at this when in battle to, you could have max speed depending on your tactics when fighting will judge how it works.. I will be varying it out when it comes to the monster's attacks..



To end it off – Basic RP rules – you can't god mod this and you can't be a Mary Sue when it comes to the game even if you have mastered the skill you won't always be successful.

To sum it up...

- No Mary Sues (No one is perfect)
- BE FAIR: to yourself especially in this.. there will be task checks due to skills.. be fair on the charts.
- No Godmodding
- Please make at least 3 paragraphs per post. (Dialogue has its exceptions)
- Romance allowed.(keep it pg-13).
- Keep up with the OOC/Story
- Please be nice and respect those you roleplay with.
- Take opportunities to roleplay with each other!!
Do not argue/disrespect me, if you do not like how i run the RP then don't join.

I forgot this rule but be respectful to your fellow Rpers too and be sure to give feedback on what you think and be supportive!
