Political Atmosphere of the Packs

Tips: 0.00 INK Postby Seveneleven on Sun Sep 29, 2013 10:59 pm

A topic I think will be useful to you and your characters. Here I will describe the current political standings with each of the packs. Which packs are hostile to each other. Which packs are allied, neutral, or undecided. Just to help shape to setting for which this roleplay is taking place. Will be updated over time as the story progresses.

The Tenneth- The Fire Pack is currently waging a war against, long time rivals, the Dimitrios. Currently The Tenneth enjoy being the dominate side. Though attempts to invade the Cliffs has failed. The Tenneth are constantly looking for ways to invade the Earth Pack's territory. The Tenneth keep their borders fiercely guarded. Not allowing anyone to pass without clearance. Any Dimitrios and Deon will be attacked on sight. They are seeking help from other packs to aid in eliminating the Dimitrios.

The Dimitrios- Currently at war with the Tenneth. In the beginning, the Dimitrios enjoyed a sound victory, but the Tenneth redoubled their efforts. Managing to push the Dimitrios into their territory. For now they are on the defense. Constantly thwarting Tenneth invasions. Though have yet, been given a chance to push the offense. Their boarders are perhaps sees the most heavy of the fighting. As Tenneth attacks are quite regular, in efforts to keep the Earth Pack stationary. The Dimitrios are also seeking allies to help push back the Tenneth.

The Avira- Currently neutral in the current struggle. They try their best to remain passive when asked about the Tenneth or the Dimitrios. Preferring not to help anyone side, so their neutrality isn't broken. Though the Tenneth and Dimitrios have sent emissaries, and are heavily pressuring the Avira to chose a side. So far the Alpha has avoided conflict, but for how long?

The Arlyne- Neutral to Tenneth and Dimitrios. They are refraining from their war to keep peaceful relations. Preferring to help than to hinder. Though recently the Water Pack is receiving aggression from the Boraks. The Arlyne have not retaliated in light of the Borak attacks. Though decisions may change if the Alpha decides to go to war.

The Kamaria- Their place in the war is uncertain. Often seen on many sides and no sides at all. Kamarian mercenaries are not uncommon, though the pack itself has not been involved in the war. Though their main plot is to use the war to launch an attack on the Kita. Hopefully eliminating their Light for good. The Kamarians may accept allies if they help them destroy the Kita.

The Kita- Currently neutral. They wish to have no part in the war, and have kept out of it for it's entirety thus far. They continue to go about their days. Ignoring the war going on. They are unaware of the Kamarian's plot to attack them.

The Aven- The Pack of Plants, have completely dropped from the war. Completely isolating themselves from the rest of the world. They have refused to involve themselves in any way. Though some Aven believe they should not stop tending to the wounded and the sick. Often peace missions are carried out by the Aven, as they enter the battlefields. Helping any and all warriors.

The Borak- Involved in the war. They are not on the side of either the Dimitrios or the Tenneth. As they seek to carve out their own slice of victory. They are hostile to both sides and have recently begun their attack on the Arlyne. Hoping to control the water systems. Assaults have been made but no invasions as of yet. Assaults have been made against the Dimitrios and the Tenneth. Though the two packs have been too busy to retaliate. They too are accepting allies.

The Ausi- Involved in the war. Undecided if they should help the Tenneth or the Dimitrios. Though the Ausi are leaning towards helping the Dimitrios in battle. Efforts to sway the Ausi are being intensified by the Tenneth. So far they keep their borders heavily guarded. Attacking anyone if they feel threatened. Hardly sharing any openness with any sides, being rather secretive in the war.

The Alva- Involved in the war. Undecided if they should aid the Tenneth or the Dimitrios. Emissaries are constantly being sent. As the two packs argue their cause to the Alva. The Alva wish to do battle but only with the side they believe they should support.

The Strigoi- Their place in the war is unknown. So far no Strigoi have been involved beyond the occasional mercenary.

The Hemlock- Their place is also unknown in the war. Some have been made mercs and assassins for hire. Though the pack itself has yet to move into any one side.

The Jera- Neutral. They have been completely uninvolved. None have left the desert to partake in this war, nor have any invasions been made.

The Jivanta- Neutral. Also completely uninvolved, as they see themselves not as warriors. Refusing to help any cause in this fight. Instead they have been focused on the health of Nigerius. Noticing strange symptoms the land has been suffering. Have yet to find anything conclusive.

The Zalkia- Neutral. Have yet to be involved. Though could be persuaded to enter if convinced.

The Ekos- Neutral. Uninvolved and prefer to keep it that way.

The Seti- Neutral. They are hesitant to become involved in the war, in fear of being conquered. Knowing that a large pack like the Tenneth or the Dimitrios will wipe them out.

The Canicus- Allied with the Tenneth. Being their cousins, the Canicus jumped at the chance to help their families and homes. They work in tandem with the Tenneth in attacking and defending their packs against the Dimitrios.

The Deon- Allied with the Dimitrios. With their homes threatened by Tenneth invasion, the Deon decided to help their earthen cousins. They help to boost defenses by adding metal to any barricades. While proving an effective strategy constant repairs must be made. Due largely in part to the Canicus's Lava Element.

The Saffron- Uninvolved in the war, like their Cousins. The Saffron Pack is more concerned with the mystery of their weakening crops. Fearful that one day their crops will cease to produce. Sending everyone into a famine.

The Ekaitz- Neutral. Though the Storm Pack will become involved, if the Avira break their neutrality. Despite their limited numbers, the Ekaitz Wolves have been preparing. For whenever the day comes when they must assist their cousins in the good fight.

The Ourano- Blissfully unaware of any conflict. Mainly confined to their own territory.
