In the beautiful country that is The South Pacific Kingdom there is no city greater nor grander that the Capital city Of King's Landing. Located in the Crownlands on the east coast of The South Pacific Kingdom. It is situated along the kingsroad at the mouth of the Brazilian Rush and overlooks The Brazilian Ocean. It is the site of the Iron Throne and the Red Keep, which is the seat of the king, Robert Baratheon from House Baratheon of King's Landing.

King's Landing was so named for it was here that the first King of the South Pacific, Axel Baratheon forged his dynasty. Coming ashore after settings sail from the Baratheon ancestral home of Storm's End the then warlord Axel Baratheon and his sizeable host made landfall at the very spot that would later be the greatest city in all the realm. The Baratheon warlord was unstoppable as he marched across the land and subdued all the major and minor kingdoms that made up the land of the South Pacific. Some were wise and bent the knee willingly, others opposed Axel and were utterly destroyed. The only threat to the stability of the realm was the rampaging hordes of Dothraki that were once quite prominent in the South Pacific. Not till the coming of The Stallion that Mounts the world and his sound defeat at the hands of Orys Baratheon did the threat of the Dothraki horse men truly vanish for good and all.

Besides King's Landing itself the Baratheon's ancestral home of Storm's End is probably one of the most well known and recognizable Keeps in all the realm. Not blessed with fertile lands, nor gold in it's mountainous terrain all the Storm Peaks offer is hardship. It is that hardship that is said to have bread the infamous Baratheon's for toughness and power. The Baratheon's trace their descent from Durren Baratheon or Durren the King under the Mountain. Durren was a half brother to the ancient king of the North Pacific Kingdom, Aegon Stormborn. Legend has it that after leaving his homeland and family behind to seek his fortune elsewhere Durren settled in the Storm Lands where, during the age of heroes, he was said to fall in love with a beautiful maiden who gave her maidenhood to him and committed herself to a mortal life. Her father was a wrathful Mountain God made of stone and her mother was a goddess of the wind. When the mountain god learned of his daughter's passion for the human he stole her away and hid her deep within the mountain. Durren challenged the mountain god to win back his lady love. In a mighty battle Durren slew the mountain god with his hammer and won his love and the mountain gods home where he later built Storm's end with the help of Bran the Builder. Their sigil is a black stag, now crowned, on a yellow field. Their words are "Ours is the Fury"

Image

Behold Casterly Rock, the seat of power for the wealthiest family in the entire kingdom and beyond, the noble house of Lannister. The gold and silver rich westerlands give the Lannister's their greatest power over all other houses, their wealth. A common saying when talking about the Lannister's of Casterly Rock is "A Lannister always pays his debts." speaking both to their wealth and their ruthlessness. The noble house Lannister trace their descent from the Andal line of Lan the Clever who is said to have swindled the Casterly's out of their home and even stole gold from the sun to brighten his hair accounting for the golden hair of all Lannister's. Their sigil is a golden lion on a crimson field, their words are "Hear me Roar"

Image

Far to the south, where the snows fall year round and dire wolves prowl there sits the Grey Keep of Winterfell, House Stark's ancestral home. House Stark have ruled as Kings in the South for Thousands of years, tracing their decent back to the First men and outlasting even the coming of the Rhoynar and the Andal invaders. Their progenitor Bran the Builder was said to have built the Grey Keep and Storm's End for his friend Durren. It was not until Axel Baratheon set fourth with his massive army to unite the land did the Starks of Winterfell finally bend the knee, and only to a friend. King Torrhen Stark, the Last King in the South was said to be as a brother to Axel Baratheon. Brothers bound by blood if not in blood. The Starks were the first to recognize Axel as the one true king of the South Pacific and assisted him in his further conquest of the South Pacific. Their sigil is a grey dire wolf on a white field, their words are "Winter is Coming"

Image

House Tyrell lies to the south west and is a land of rolling fertile fields known as The Reach. It is here where well more than half of the country's food comes from making House Tyrell incredibly influential and wealthy. House Tyrell trace their descent to Garth Greenhand who, in the age of Heroes, was said to have the blood of the Fae in his veins and possess the ability to make the land bloom at his command. Their sigil is a golden rose on a green field, their words are "Growing Strong"

Histories and Songs of the South Pacific Kingdom

The Children Of The Forest, The First Men, The Rhoynar And The Andals

Image

In the dawn age of The South Pacific, before the coming of man and the raising of castles and cities there were only the children of the forest. Little is known of them now but it is said they were small in stature, dark and beautiful and no taller than children when grown to manhood. They lived in the depths of the forests, in hidden villages and caves. They hunted with weirwood bows and armed themselves with blades of obsidian.
Image

Their wise-men were called greenseers and they possessed powerful magicks. They worshipped nameless, faceless gods of the forest, stream and stone. According to legend it was they who carved faces in the great white trunks of the majestic weirwoods, with deep cut eyes red with sap and ever watchful
Image

Image

12,000 years ago The First Men first crossed over into The South Pacific coming down from the land of cold and snow far to the north. Riding their great horses and wielding weapons of bronze they cut down the Children's forests and weirwoods. A terrible war began between The Children and the First Men and only worsened with the arrival of The Rhoynar.
Image

Crossing the land bridge over the Antarctica Ocean, coming from far to the East, the Rhoynar sought to settle the land for themselves and readily went to war with both the Children and The First Men. The War Between the Children, The First Men and the Rhoynar lasted for centuries, leaving the Children of the Forest all but extinct. Yet the Children had the magic of the Old Gods behind them. The Greenseers cast a powerful spell that protected the Children and hid them from all unfriendly eyes. As a sign of forgiveness and trust the Children met with The Firstmen who were now living in their forests and worshiping their gods.
Image

The Pact was held at the area of land known as The God's Eye in which the Children gifted the land to the First Men before vanishing from this world forever. The First Men continued to war with the Rhoynar for many years until the coming of the Andal Invaders.
Image

A race of tall, fair haired warriors famed for their mastery of the sea they attacked with fire and steel weapons slaughtering all in their path. They burnt the sacred gods woods and hacked away the faces in their weirwoods, spreading their own religion of The Seven.
Image

The Faith of The Seven is actually a single deity with seven aspects. They each symbolize a different area of life, The Mother is prayed to for mercy, child birth, and peace. The Father sits in judgment over souls, while The Warrior is prayed to for protection, valor, and skill in battle. The Crone is the of symbol wisdom and foresight. The Smith watches over creation and craftsmanship. The Maiden symbolizes purity, love and beauty. Finally there is The Stranger who is rarely prayed to who represents death.
Image

The war between the First Men, The Rhoynar and The Andals did not stop until the forging of the great houses during The Age of Heroes.

Histories and Songs of the South Pacific Kingdom

The War of Conquest

Image

The War of Conquest was the campaign in which Axel Baratheon, the then young Lord of Storm's End, subdued the Kings of the South Pacific Kingdom and unified the country under the Stag Banner. Setting sail from the Baratheon's ancient seat at Storm's End the Storm King made landfall at the spot where King's Landing would later be erected.
Image

Axel Baratheon swept across the South Pacific like a great storm and all who opposed him were utterly destroyed. The Kings of the South Pacific were caught completely unprepared and were able to offer little resistance. The massive Baratheon host out matched and outfought every foe to meet them in the field. One by one the Kings were bending the knee or facing the wrath of Axel Baratheon.
Image

House Stark of Winterfell, led by King Torrhen Stark was the first to bend the knee willingly though not in fear but in friendship. Axel and Torrhen were boyhood friends, brothers bound in blood if not by blood. The Starks of Winterfell were never fair weather friends and gladly joined the Baratheon host in their conquest of the South Pacific Kingdoms. They remain to this day House Baratheon's most loyal supporters and most trusted friends. While Axel Barathon set his sights on the gold rich westerlands and the fertile Reach, the armies of Winterfell were sent to secure the east and subdue the King by the Sea, Harren Krios. House Krios was soundly defeated by the South Men and driven from their land which is now known as the Crown Lands.
Image

Axel's greatest challenge came from the combined might of the West and the Reach when King Lorren Lannister and King Mern Tyrell united to oppose the mighty Storm King. Their great banners flapping in the wind the two kings commanded a force of nearly sixty thousand. Outnumbered three to one the Baratheon host seemed to be marching to their doom.
Image

Leading the charge Axel Baratheon clashed with King Lorren of the Westerlands and King Mern of the reach in a battle that was said to last through the night into the next day. Now known as the Battle of the Long Night, when the sun finally rose the following day the combined armies of the West and the Reach were found to be utterly obliterated. King Mern died on the field, said to have been beheaded by Axel himself and King Lorren lost his hand in the fray and wisely bent the knee.
Image

His power consolidated and the country his Axel Baratheon now King of the South Pacific Kingdom had King's Landing constructed and within the Red Keep, the Iron Throne Forged. As legend has it Axel, now known as Axel The Conqueror, had the swords of his conquered foes melted down and forged into the throne he would rule from. It was purposefully forged to be uncomfortable and even painful for Axel believed that no king should sit easy. The South Pacific would go on to prosper under the Crowned Stag, not knowing a significant threat to the realm until the War of the Usurper.

Histories and Songs of the South Pacific Kingdom

The War of the Usurper/Argilac's Rebellion

Image

Rebellion... The relative peace that has blessed the South Pacific Kingdom was shattered as war horns sounded and banners took to the winds. With the death of King Steffon Baratheon and the crowning of his eldest son, the prideful, boastful and some said foolish Robert, those who bore ill will to the crown felt now was the time make a grab at power and rid themselves of the line of kings that had held the South Pacific for centuries.
Image

Of the rebel lords none were so outspoken, nor dangerous than Argilac Krios. Lord of House Krios the one time Kings by the Sea who were unseated from their ancestral home during the War of Conquest by the Starks of Winterfell, House Krios has always bore a seething hatred for the royal family and their southron allies. The Serpent Lord led the rebel forces as he marched across the South Pacific hoping to encircle the King's forces and slowly crush the life out of them like a great python.
Image

The early days of the war saw Robert's first victories where he fought three battles in a single day. The sheer power of the royal host seemed unstoppable as they cut through wave after wave of advancing troops until finally being halted while trying to take Ashford Castle.
Image

The defeat at Ashford by the rebel forces cut off Robert from his ancestral seat of power Storm's End but the stronghold raised in the age of heroes was not without it's defenders. Stannis Baratheon, brother to the king was garrisoned there with his family and considerable forces. Robert commanded him to hold the castle at all costs and hold he did. Even as his enemies encircled the keep preventing any resupply by land or sea. While Robert when on to smash the rebel forces at Summerhall and the Stoney Sept, Stannis' men ate the dogs. When Robert finally faced off with Argilac at the Battle of the Trident, Stannis, his pregnant wife, young son and what men were left to him ate the rats. If it wasn't for the smuggler Davos and his onions it would have been naught but ghosts holding Storm's End.
Image

Image

While Davos slipped through the rebel blockade with his little black sail boat King Robert and his Royal forces were approaching the battle that would decide the fate of the South Pacific Kingdom, at the crossing of the Green Fork at the Trident River. Argilac commanded the Rebel host which was some forty thousand strong. The Royal forces were outnumbered by nearly five thousand men, but that didn't matter. They were fresh but Robert's host was battle hardened and had justice on their side. As the battle raged around them Robert faced off with Argilac, the Stag and the Snake, right there in the ford of the river.
Image

They say Robert fought with the fury of ten men, raining blow after blow upon the vile rebel lord before burying his warhammer in his chest. Robert hit him so hard the rubies on his armor broke free, flinging them into the stream. They call it the Ruby Ford now. With Argilac, now known as Argilac the Arrogant, dead the rebel forces were lost a commander and quickly bent the knee in surrender. Heeding the council of the then Hand of the King Eddard Stark, Robert allowed all who swore fealty to him to keep their lands, their holdings, their titles and their lives.
Image

With the rebellion put down and his power secured, Robert set to consolidating his reign with heirs. He was married to the daughter of the realms wealthiest family the Lannister's of Casterly rock. Lord Tywin Lannister's daughter, Cersei was said to be the most beautiful woman in all the kingdom yet proved an ill fit to the warrior king. Never the less the realm was secure from outward threats and knew not war again until the coming of the exile princess from the North Pacific.

Histories and Songs of the South Pacific Kingdom

The Last War/Amelia's Ascension

Image

Despite the fury and tenacity Robert exhibited to win his crown, the Iron Throne bored him. He was a warhammer forged for battle yet now was put atop a pedestal to be admired and loved but seldom taken into the field. His queen lost his first three children and had yet to be able to conceive again and soon grew to hate him. As Robert grew to hate her right back his fortunes only worsened as the infighting between his queen and his Hand increased. Unable to stand, what he called the corruption of the crown, any longer Eddard Stark Hand of the King resigned his post and returned to Winterfell.
Image

Ned Stark was Robert's dearest friend and the loss of him only soured Robert to rule even more. He turned to drink and whoring to sedate himself from the trials and tedium of rule. Many feared their kings rule would be a short one if he carried on the way he was.
Image

Then She came, as if pulled from a fairy tale and gifted unto the king. A beautiful young maiden with a cause and a war to fight. Amelia Stormborn, the last remaining heir the the throne of the North Pacific and daughter to a murdered king. She came to Robert and appealed for his aid calling upon the ancient blood they both shared through the Baratheon's ancestor Durren and the Stormborn ancestor of Aegon. Amelia told the king of her plight and what she had gone through to reclaim her throne. The flight from her home as a babe, to the murder of her brother, her marriage to the Dothraki Horse Lord, his death, and finally the birth of her dragons.
Image

The battle hungry Robert needed little convincing and amassed his vast army to lend their strength to hers. The people of the South Pacific fell in love with the dragon queen almost instantly. Her tale of exile, hardship and strength touched their hearts and they sang for her victories in her home land. United as one, the true ruler of the North Pacific led her forces home with the Black Stag of Baratheon supporting her.
Image

Amelia led from the vanguard atop her mighty dragons like a hero from a fable, bringing dragon fire down atop the armies of the Usurpers. Her own host, while small in comparison to her opponents and even her allies, destroyed all in their wake. As she pushed ever inland she met a massive unified host of some ninety thousand strong in a rolling field of wheat.
Image

In what later would be known as the Field of Fire Amelia unleashed the full power of her three dragons and burnt her enemies to ash. It is said near sixty thousand men that day died while Amelia herself, suffered zero casualties. This battle alone is said to have marked the end of the Usurper's rule in her kingdom.
Image

While Amelia's dragons set fields aflame she had sent her Baratheon allies to take the seaside stronghold of Great Wyk. The seat of the Usurper's naval power in the region, Great Wyk was a strategic necessity that had to be taken if victory was to be assured. Robert Baratheon led the main bulk of the army with his brother Lord Stannis Baratheon leading the naval assault and his nephew the young Ser Orys Baratheon leading the vanguard.
Image

After Robert's catapults battered down the walls of the sea side fortress Orys led his men through. Being the first through the massive gaping hole in the keep's exterior the young knight was met immediately by the eldest son of the master of the castle, the infamous Black Knight Argos the Cruel. Orys was said to best him with a single swing of his sword.
Image

As Robert stormed the castle with his brother and nephew the Lord of Great Wyk bent the knee. Lord Balon Shadowfall was an old wicked man but not a foolish man, he knew when he was beaten and with the fearsome Baratheon king looming over him, warhammer in hand he made the only choice available to him, surrender.
Image

With Old Wyk conquered the combined might of Amelia's forces, her dragons, and the Baratheon Host marched on the capitol. They arrived to find open gates and a city in surrender. The high lords feared the fate of their fellows on the field of fire and wisely bent the knee to accept the Queen's Justice. As dragons took to the skies over the capitol city of the North Pacific Kingdom Amelia Stormborn, Rightful Queen of the North Pacific Kingdom, Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, The Unburnt, Mother of Dragons, Conqueror of Alevilan City and Rubil City, Breaker of Chains, Mhysa, The Silver Queen finally sat upon the throne her father had sat upon before her birth. The victory she had long sought was finally hers and her reign had only just begun. This marked the start of a great friendship with the South Pacific who are now seen as the North Pacific's strongest allies. With the passing of the Last War the South Pacific has not been touched by war since.

Notable NPC's

Image

The King in all his glory. Robert of the House Baratheon, the First of his Name, King of the Andals and the Rhoynar and the First Men, Lord of the South Pacific Kingdom and Protector of the Realm. He's a drunk, a womanizer and a man lost in the past. He dreams day and night of the 'good old days' when he was young and was fighting during the War of the Usurper to win his throne. Those heroic days are long gone and now all he has is his barren wife who hates him, a throne that bores him and Orys, the one thing that makes him feel alive again. His nephew is like a son to him and his pride swells at the very mention of the young man.

Image

The Queen Cersei Lannister. She's cold, callous, cruel and bitter. She loved Robert once but after the loss of their third child a hatred took root between them. She hates the man he's become and knows she would rule better than he ever could. She curses her barren womb, the cruel gods and most of all Robert.

Image

Lord Stannis Baratheon, Lord Paramount of Storms end and Warden of the North. Stannis is Roberts brother, and the middle child of the three Baratheon siblings. He is the father of Robert's favored nephew Orys and the realms Master of War. (He's the Mannis)

Image

Lord Renly Baratheon, Master of Laws on the Kings Small Council, previously Hand of the King. Renly is the younger brother of Robert and Stannis and the uncle of Ser Orys Baratheon.

Image

Ser Davos Seaworth, formerly Davos of Flea Bottom. A one time smuggler who grew up in the worse slums of King's Landing. After sneaking past a rebel blockade during the Siege of Storm's End to provide food to the starving men of the keep Lord Stannis knighted Davos and rewarded him a keep and took his eldest son to squire. Davos owes his family's good fortunes to Stannis and House Baratheon and as such has become Stannis' most loyal friend and councilor.

(*COMING SOON*)

Image

Ser Idris Santagar, is by far the greatest hero of the modern age. A knight whose song will be sung for centuries to come. Ser Idris story began when he was but a squire of fourteen winters. He had entered a magical realm known as a soul cairn, a place of ancient power that predated man. It is a place where no mortal can survive and souls roam free along with older, fouler beings. To rescue his lords daughter the young Idris entered the soul cairn to find her soul after it had been ripped out by a foul demon lord. Idris was thought lost for dead but miraculously he returned bearing then soul of the lords daughter and saved her life. He came back changed however. Now knighted Ser Idris possesses the ability to see soul energy. He can see a persons true intent and see into the truth of all things. He can see dangers long before they ever happen and can imbue his sword with soul energy of all the men he's slain. He can even see what he calls the Soul Intent which acts as a form of precognition allowing him to know what an enemy is going to do before he does it and react accordingly. Physically the only change that is visible is Idris' eyes that are now the most peculiar shade of gold. He is immune to nearly all forms of magic due to his time in the soul cairn and can use his sight to find people nearly anywhere. He is a knight whose honor is above reproach who puts his duty and vows above all else.

Image

Sandor Clegane, known as The Hound. He is the younger of the two Clegane brothers. Unlike his brother Ser Gregor he is not a knight not due to lack of skill but due to the fact that he refused to take the vows. Sandor does not believe in "true knights" instead firmly believing that knights are only needed for one thing, killing. He is violent, terrifying and can be down right savage but he's honest. He has terrible burns on half of his face after he was scolded by hot coals by his sadistic brother when he was just a boy.

Image

Lady Brienne of Tarth. A homely woman who never took to the courtesies of lady life. Instead she traded her silk skirts and ball gowns for a chainmail hauberk and a longsword. She is possibly one of the finest warriors in the kingdom but suffers by way of reputation due to her being a woman. She acts as a true knights despite not able to be actually knighted due to again, her being a woman.
