Full NameIsabelle Marie Cortez
Occupation in GroupNone.
Age9 (and a half)
Written PersonalityIzzy is very independent and reluctant to accept help from anyone. Despite what her adorable appearance and love for pink might lead one to believe, she doesn't like being coddled either. She's very mature for her age and understands more than what people give her credit for and is extremely street smart. She will often state that she's just using the group for their supplies and will leave them once she learns to aim a gun properly. She doesn't trust any of them further than she can throw them. Her only loyalty is to herself and her brother.

Occupation in GroupNone.
Age6 (and three-quarters)
Written PersonalityJosh is a very sweet and loving boy who tends to follow the lead of his older sister, though he's really nothing like her. His trust is easily earned and he does enjoy being coddled. He is terrified of the dark and always runs to his sister whenever he's afraid. He tries his best to be brave because that's what he believes his mother would have wanted of him. He does his best not to be useless and is very much a people pleaser, often having a hard time and breaking down when torn between his sister and the others in the group, as she often tells him not to do what they say because they aren't the bosses of them. Still, he tries to be respectful
Relations to other Characters Younger brother of Isabelle Cortez. Knows Art from dance classes at the YMCA.

Brief HistoryThe two children were born and raised in the Bronx to an alcoholic father and a mother who worked as a police officer for the NYPD. Their father was abusive and their mother would often kick him out but then let him right back in after he came home sober with flowers and chocolates. There was never a way to really get rid of him. By the time that Isabelle had turned seven, she began taking her brother to the YMCA after school with her so that they could stay there until their mother returned home from work - Their father never dared raise a hand to them in her presence. She knew he was beating them and would beat him in return, but he would just take it out on them when she was gone. It was a vicious cycle that had no end. Until the zombies came. They were waiting outside the YMCA for their mother to pick them up when she called frantically and told them to get inside somewhere and stay there until she called back. She was on her way. Scared, the two headed back into the YMCA and stayed put while madness descended upon the city. But their mother never came. After two days of waiting, they grew restless and hungry. They were locked in a back room with zombies groaning and bumping against the locked door. The only way out was the vents. And so they left. They made it out of city limits by hopping from group to group, always looking for their mother and never staying too long. Finally, Isabelle decided that it was her and Josh against the world. They found a nice hiding spot in the woods where people were camped not too far away and began to steal from the camp while they were sleeping. They were able to go undetected because of their small size and ability to sneak - They had plenty of practice sneaking past their drunk father to get food from the kitchen. But they were caught one day. Isabelle, to be specific. Nathan and Robyn followed her back to their hiding spot after Art pointed out that "A munchkin just jacked our water and Doritos". Isabelle was hard to convince, but she was unable to resist Nathan's charm and Robyn's motherly smile, allowing she and her brother to be taken back to the group to be taken care of.
