Asari and other gods

Inmente believe in the existence of six specific gods and goddesses that rule over aspects of their lives. They are believed to be the ten children of mother earth, Gaia, and her husband Alterion, who is known as Father Time. From. They are listed below, from oldest to youngest, along with the aspects they rule over, and part of their legend.

Atisus: Atisus is the god of Strength and Wisdom. As the oldest of Gaia's children, he is also considered the protector of the earth realm and is said to have aided in removing his uncle, Adicon, from the throne of hell.

Renon: Renon is Atisus's twin, the god of disease and famine. He is jealous of his older brother, and often takes out his vengeance on the world Atisus is to protect. He is the only one of Gaia's children considered wholly evil, and is worshiped in Bone Covens.

Aggylla: She is the oldest of Gaia's daughters, the goddess of harvest and family. Aggylla is said to have helped her mother in the creation of humans, and then created edible plants and trees as a response to their existence. She is commonly found as a patron goddess in Inmente households.

Ettison: Ettison is the god of death. He was tasked with creating the life cycle of living creatures and is responsible for their passage to the afterlife. He is worshiped by families after a loved one has passed. Ettison's priests prepare bodies for burial, or if they were of prominent standing, the funeral pyre that will carry them to serve their patron god (a process that occurs for all of the six gods except for Renon).

Sadivia: Sadivia is the goddess of water. She controls the oceans, rivers, lakes, and rains. Sadivia was the creator of all creatures that populate her domain, and is known for being a healer. She is often the patron goddess of Water and Ice elemental witches, as well as Bone and Blood witches that focus on healing.

Asari: The youngest of Gaia's children. She is the goddess of birth and life. Asari is said to have returned the fallen human race to life and is credited with birthing the Inmente into the world. She is the patron goddess of most witches, and her code is used to protect witches.
