Okay TristisNox, first you go up to where it says "profile"--just hover over it, don't click. Last label when it drops down says Private Messages. click that, it'll take you to the page. Go to compose message, type my name into the "send to" section, just like you would in an email. Type it up, send it to me. Or yogi.

Also, TristisNox, the red marks at the end of each group should be filled out, not just the one for your species...

This sounds like it could be fun. What exactly is the plot though? You put down a bunch of cool species, but not a lot of info as to what's going on.

@ NotSoHeartless--With the human population growing, and their cities expanding, the immortals are becoming closer and closer to being found out. Essentially each race has two options: try to live in the shadows among them, or reveal themselves. Each species has its own set of problems also, relatively minor ones that may tie into the primary later (for example, the Heirs wanting to modernize the Vampire society). I guess I need to make the primary a little clearer at the beginning, but their individual problems are listed at the end of each race description. Did you want me to reserve you a spot?

EDIT** Just tweaked the introduction a little. That better? Thank you for pointing out it was a little vague, BTW

For the pre-post, is it an introduction of our character or can it be any post from our previous RPs? Is it just to show our writing skill?

It's basically just to know your writing skill and style. It could be a post from a previous RP or an intro for the character. Just make sure what you put is generally what you will post.

THanks yog; yes, the "potential post" is basically a writing sample. I prefer it to be based on/ about the character you sent in, so I can get a feel for how each person's style will work with another's, and a bit more about the character.

I also have a question: can humans be turned into other beings via roleplay? If so, I'm probably playing a human just for the fun :3

Hello Hibiya, you are correct on the PMing part but it doesn't last long ^-^
As for the human turning into other beings, there are only a few options. One, they can be turned into a vampire, they wouldn't be as strong as a born vampire, and they would not age at all from the point they were turned at. Another option is being bitten or scratched by a Were, their infection would spread through the human's body and start the changing process. There may be one other way through human experimentation, but on that one you would have to discuss it with WriteLive.

You forgot one, yogi: a human with certain characteristics (protectiveness, some special ability like exceptional empathy, someone who has hard-drawn lines of good/evil*but knows where the gray areas are and accepts they exist, even if they dislike them*) may be offered the chance to become a Guardian or Reaper. This is an extremely rare circumstance, which is part of why their population is depleting. Firemen, Doctors, Soldiers, young kids with good hearts: these are the kinds normally picked out. On occasion others might be picked: a Robin Hood type, for example, might be chosen to guard those he once provided for.

Experimentation is also a possibility, particularly if they have some immortal in their bloodline. Humans are most compatible with all types in terms of breeding. The only one that would not go through properly would be if a human mated with a Were. They might just be human, or they might become a shifter, considering the animal blood in their veins.

Wow.... Okay, I have some editing to do in Humans and Angels hahaha! Basically, plenty of room for humans to change. Want me to reserve a spot for ya?

Alrighty, everyone!

I am still accepting characters, for those who have seen this and would like to join in. I am also going to open up the option for a second character for those who are already in. I would like to start this by Monday. Wait for either yogitheambrangyl or myself to post first. Even once things start, characters will still be accepted. I will not be on this Saturday for family reasons, but I will have yogi keep me posted on what's going on.

For second and third characters, the pre-post is optional, but preferred so we can get a feel for the character :)
