Saal is a collaboration of some of humanities worst traits in one man. He is greedy desiring women, wealth, and power, often not in that order. An incredibly vain man, he loves to appear stronger then everyone else, loves the feel of women's gazes on him and has a large 'appreciation' for things of beauty and loves to see trembling in pain, especially if he is the one inflicting it. It is hard to say how he became like that, someone who enjoys the suffering of others, perhaps he merely had his own troubled past and so now the weight lessens when he sees others suffer? Who truly knows.
Despite these faults, he is both ambitious and driven. He is constantly trying to reach higher and is willing to do anything in order to accomplish this no matter how cruel his methods may be, they are effective which did eventually get him noticed by Aku who uses him as a blunt instrument of his will. So great is his ambition that he often introduces himself as the Shadow of Airen in direct challenge to Aku. He does use his position and power to feed his perversion as Saal is very... sexual liberated and corrupt. He is more then willing to use his power to force women to do his bidding by 'waving' off their debts or even getting them into debt which has made him infamous. His own men enjoy his nature as he, often, allows them to participate, but he is also hated by many.
When people speak of his goals and actions to Aku, the masked man merely tilts his head and informs them that he is not worried for, "He is ambitious enough to try but not cunning enough to succeed."

Above all else, Tera is incredibly intelligent and shrewd. Few, in anything, escapes her notice. Behind her harsh, distant, glare is a brilliant mind that is constantly in motion. It would shock people to learn that a few years ago, Tera was nothing more then a prostitute in a small brothel whose service could be purchased for a mere five silver, but she was the 'go to girl' for more then one means as she was sharp enough to keep her ear open as men love to talk, and she would sell the information or trade it to others. For books, for services, for a day off... She eventually caught the notice of Aku, and her innate intelligence propelled her up the ranks.
Tera is not someone to be crossed. She knows what it is like to be nothing besides a tool for men to use, and she will never go back to being so again. There is nothing she won't do to keep her power and position, no one she would not kill... She is incredibly ruthless as she has killed a man by tearing his throat out with her teeth before such is her hunger for freedom.
Despite her past, the massive tattoos that stretch her pale body, and her... throat tearing, Tera is graced with a certain regal nature. Her point chin is always lifted and her posture is perfect, she walks with a slow confidence that belies her history as she has nothing but pride for who and what she is now. It is almost hard to believe such a beautiful refined woman used to be a cheap prostitute or that such a woman can twist a man's mind with a few words and movements.
In fact, Tera is, by Aku's own admittance, one of the greatest manipulators he has ever met. She is easily able to bend a man's mind to her will, able to plant ideas and suggestions into the minds of others and make them believe it was their idea... It is the only time in which Tera speaks with a bit of warmth is when she desires something, otherwise, she is incredibly Sardonic. She loves to tease and mock people, hold her hard earned superiority over them. Tera is a harsh, cold, manipulative woman with a sharp tongue, and above all others, has Aku's respect.

Yoko is incredibly intelligent raised from infancy under the best instructors and tutors that the Shakahu Clan could get their hands on for Yoko was born into a legacy, a legacy of the Shakahu assassins some of the greatest and most feared assassins on the planet. Her sharp mind has been honed over years of tutoring and lessons, and she uses this sharp mind to surprise others as few believe normal assassins are capable of seeing through their plots and plans, and because of this, she has maneuvered herself into better deals and out of double crossings more then a few times.
A true born professional, when on the job, Yoko puts everything behind her and becomes a the Jar'Kon. She does not allow personal feelings to interrupt in her duty and would kill even her own sister if that is what was required. She may hate herself after the job was finished, but she has been taught and conditioned to do what she must because she has to. Despite this Yoko is an incredibly kind woman, she takes in orphans and stray children off the street and raises them in her large house. She loves to sing to them, and a part of her, likes to believe it is her way of trying to salvage her soul. A few of the promising ones are taken into the Shakahu clan.
But despite this, Yoko is unforgiving. She does not forget or forgive a slight to herself or to her clan. She will strike back at any who dare double cross her as she prefers to keep things professional. They pay her clan, they take care of the job, simple. Clean. She has chased down and slain more then a few noblemen who thought they could 'silence' them to hide their dirty little secrets.
A born perfectionist, Yoko will study a job for weeks, sometimes months, to ensure perfection. To ensure her strike is quick and lethal, to ensure the collateral damage stays down. This also reflects her personal skill as she trains religious and despite being so young, she is considered one of the greatest Jar'Kon to have ever been born.
