The Nymphs - More specifically known as the Oreads. They are the Nymphs of the Mountain. Centuries ago there were seven, but now only three are left. Arrenal, Jalila, and Niddun. They protect the mountain with their lives, and their very essence is intertwined with it. The three are revered as deities. Though Niddun and Jalila are rarely seen as they tend to stick to their personal areas. The mountains extending into Cinnabar, and extending into the land east of Jarrah respectively.
Arrenal is the Nymph of the mountains specific to Jarrah. She is its protector as well as the first empress of Jarrah. She is revered by all. She is not into politics unlike the rest of the royal family, but she is always kept in the loop. All major decisions are ran by her for approval out of respect. She spends most of her days roaming, seeing the people as she is welcome everywhere.
Dwarves - They were the the first to make their home inside of the mountain. They dug deep into its bowels and established themselves. Their numbers are much less than that of the humans living alongside them. The reason being because most were slaughtered in the war against the orcs generations ago. If it had not been for their great tragedy, their number would be double that of the humans.
The majority of the Dwarves work the mines and forges. They are some of the best smiths in all of the lands. The most hardy and reliable weapons and armour are forged by their hands. The Dwarves are Jarrah's innermost line of defense if they were to come under attack.
Humans - The mortals. They came about only a few centuries previous, but they make up the majority of the population. Compared to mortals of other lands, Jarrahns are naturally large in stature. Taller and more built than most humans. They are a fierce people. Originally a nomadic tribe of warriors. Most, male and female are skilled in combat.
The better part of the human populace lives inside of the mountain with various occupations. Though, they exit into the flatlands almost daily as they have animals and farms to tend to. The smaller part are volunteers who live outside of the mountain predominantly. Occupying small towns in various parts of the regions near its borders. Though, the towns are more comparable to forts. They provide for themselves and keep an eye out for any imposing threats.
