There have been questions on the following topics that I should have spoken about a loooong way back. Here, I hope to answer these questions. If there are any topics I don't touch upon, please feel free to comment below.

Laws of Magic

Magic has been very minor in the kingdoms, barely being more than magic tricks. There have been tales of before the Land of High was established: back in a time where tribes roamed the continent. These tribes were extremely well versed in special magics, especially a certain tribe... However, as the tribe named the House of Stars was declared as the alpha, the continent was taken over by them. Those tribes who revered magic became less important, merging into the background while the House of Stars became the Land of High. As they became a nation, they became more concentrated on technology and such. Magic has been made a form of entertainment and some nations have such a minority of of magic users that magic can go by completely unknown. There are no schools of magic established in any kingdoms. Fighting magic is unknown, lost to the sands of time. Magic, however, can deliver messages and create small occurrences that can lead to military advantages but not likely. There are natural magical elements but their complete uses are unknown.

Modern Weaponry

The main choice of weaponry are swords as they are the ones most readily available. Other available weaponry include maces, axes, knives, daggers, bow and arrows, whips, staffs, glaives... The list goes on and on. For long range weapons, catapults, trebuchets, and ballistas are available. There is no advanced weaponry other than this but there are more advanced forms of the weapons provided.

Modes of Technology

Other than the airships, boats, carts, and carriages, there are no other modes of transportation other than your feet or on a horse. Writing is done by hand: on paper in ink. However, printing presses are available to those the government of the kingdom allows. Electricity is a possibility but only for simple devices yet the main sources of lighting are still candles but there are magical plants/animals that provide natural light.

Monetary System
*Money value is measured by mass*
1 g Gold = 100 g Silver
1 g Silver = 10 g Bronze
1 g Bronze = 15 g Pewter
The starting point in a fall cannot be pinpointed. It is impossible.

Random question, but just for clarity, while the monetary value is measured in mass, what is their most common form? Coins? I only ask because not everyone carries a brick(?) of gold. Though it would make sense to trade silverware for something.

It does make sense to have the money carried via coin. Each coin should be about a gram. Gold, however, can also be traded via dust in bags (aka those kingdoms with mines). There should be an established number of "banks" in each kingdom. These banks do not keep money for people but rather are gone to to count money as well as watch the rate of inflation in each nation- basically guilds that specialize in money. Of course, it is up to the kingdom whether or not these banks are watched. Banks generally get paid a small amount by customers for counting money or have people pay nothing at all if the person is a "loyal customer". The majority of banks also provide money exchange and buy objects of precious metals in return for coins. They, however, do not sell these precious metals but rather send them to a traveling merchant to sell for a price.

Please note: Banks are usually manned by those who are very wealthy.

Thanks for your question and I hope this clears it up!

The brick of gold reminds me of a scene from a fantasy book. A dwarf, not understanding how much was what in the human lands, pulls out a massive bar of red gold, super valuable, and a hammer and chisel and just starts hammering out silvers as means of payment.... Has nothing to do with anything really, just something that was amusing. :D

An old history book rests in the back of the both the King's and Queen's library. The texts are considered long out of date by centuries, even when these two rulers were children The beginning chapter was considered “folklore” and “mythology”, undeserving to be in a book of fact. There was simply no proof in fairytales. By now, the words are unreadable and nearly impossible to decipher… But the mind’s eye can see

“Long — , in a tim- before history could be recorded there were — tribes that roamed about the Land of High. Disputes constantly occurred between these tribes, -- over land and — of who — who. The Land of High was an ever present — ground. No land could be called —.

Among the ones who constantly fought were the Y-g C-n — the — S-rs. Their differences were deep: — trib- concentrated on the usage of — and nature and the other trib-, — this excellence of —, concentrated on — ways to defeat the other. The animosity between the — were great. So they — . And no tribe was able to do anything about this m—ous activity. The only reason the f-gh- went on so long was because the — could not — with their exten-v- mag- without —.

It was only time before- “

The next few pages have been blurred from memory. However, the ending is remembered.

”In the end, the — tribes assimilated under the dominant one. But no one ever knew what happened to the — magic that once resided in this land or the —. Some say a — will return to reclaim it… And use it to reclaim the —.”

And that’s how it ended… Or rather, didn’t.
