I'm gonna work on a character for this, and smrtazz if you want to do some foot slogging I might be persuaded to create a second character to go hash it out, war's got to be fought on the ground too.

Quick question... how legit are we on aircraft payloads? Just wondering since the game has a massive amount of AIM-9X per plane, clearly higher than what any fighter jet could actually carry, a few Profiles have complete load outs and some don't.

Well, legit enough to know that once you've expended your payload, you're about done. I honestly can't say on whether an actual loadout is needed or not, just that you can't go wrong with one.

Is there a set plot device that is due to occur in this battle? I'm getting the feeling that a number of the writers are stalling and not really sure how to approach things at the moment. Blades and Hunter are both available and if anyone wants to work something out for when they return to base, please let me know. Thanks.

I am back from my hermitage! *stands up and waits for applause to die down*
Now that I am here, I have a really important announcement to make.

I would just like to apologize for my not being around very much. I haven't quite gotten the whole splitting time between RP's down yet, and since school has begun again, I'm having shorter and shorter amounts of time to be spent on the computer. For the time being, I give everyone permission to Power-Play Blackjack, for I don't know how often I will get to post myself. That's not to say that I won't try to get a few hundred words in when I get an opportunity. I'm just saying that I won't be religiously RP-ing until around Christmas time.

With our GM unable to devote a lot of time to this at the moment, I was thinking of wrapping up the action fairly soon and getting the teams back to base for a little interaction there before things really get deep into a defined plot. If anyone has something they want to happen specifically before that time, let's get to posting now before the game stalls too early. This is one of the most promising games out there right now!

If there is anything that I can do to help, please let me know. OC is the GM of this game but I would like to assist the game in any way that I can.

I was thinking that the teams would be running short on fuel and ammunition and simply have to bug out and RTB rather than fighting each other to the death. If anyone has better ideas for a reason to get out of this fight, please let throw 'em out there!

you know Im just not feeling in the mood for a dog fight scene with another character right now...I suppose the nugget, ottoman's character, rabbit i think it was, we could dance around in the air for a while and then you get my wing with your gun. I eject, parachute to the ground, get picked up by friendly forces and RTB. Any objections?

Sounds good to me. I don't think that Rabbit would have any problems with that since it really doesn't change his characters actions. We could do the whole thing without having to auto him at all.

i was thinking of throwing some dramatic irony in, running through the city and noticing a squad under fire, helping out with that and the squad turning out to be seperated from the unit under Ethan's father's command.

If that's what you want to do, go for it. As long as you aren't autoing another character or breaking the game in some fashion, feel free to post what you want. No need to run everything by for approval of the rest of the group ahead of time!

We've got a bit of open time right now in the game. I don't know what the plan is regarding the potential return of our GM and I just sort of assumed a position of "holding things at status quo" for the time being. If it turns out that he is completely unable to return to the game, we need to talk about how we want to handle things moving foward or if we want to call this one quits.

As of right now, all the pilots save for Sky Wolf are back at their respective bases. Things are free at the moment and both Hunter and Blades are available for anything any of you may have in mind.
