Hiya. I'm interested in playing a scientist, and in an attempt at creating a character, several questions surfaced.

What will be the plot? Will the children want to escape, or become super soldiers? Similarly, are all of the scientists evil people who wish for world domination? Could they be infected with the virus themselves, perhaps in the course of the story? (Manifesting one or two of the seven symptoms, for example.)

Furthermore, is the disease truly viral? Being born with a virus while neither parent carries it is rather odd. In addition to that, what happened to the infected not belonging to the Seven? Did they get better, die, or are they held for research elsewhere? And what is being researched? The mechanisms of the virus, or some kind of way of increasing its effects, making for more powerful humans?

And perhaps most importantly, what is the downfall of this virus? Is there no handicap? What's stopping AveoLife from simply injecting their soldiers with Seven blood / tissue and watch as the virus transforms them into superhumans?

Basically, it's just this group of 'infected' people in a test facility for a large company. It will be everyone's choice personally whether they choose to succumb to AveoLife's evil intentions, or escape them. Every scientist who is completely and utterly loyal to AveoLife will probably be in it for the power, others may be in it for the research. It is possible that they could pick up some of the symptoms after awhile; if a Seven's DNA (in any form) were to find a way into another's body, it would transfer to that person, but only very minutely, depending on the amount of DNA.

In this way, it's similar to a virus, as it can be spread. Those infected not belonging to the Seven are probably still wandering around somewhere, otherwise they are test subjects of AveoLife's labs. Though it is possible to die from the disease, it's rarely heard of. Most people die of complications with the disease, as is reported by one of the scientists. Bascically, AveoLife wants to know everything about each of the Seven because they're so different from one another. They're looking for anything in common with them that they've missed, they're looking for differences in the way they do things, what happens when you shed sunlight on one who's sensitive, et cetera. They basically use the Seven as lab rats. Inject them with things, make them run mazes, do extremely hard puzzles.... Though it's also known that a few of the scientists think that it should be enhanced and used in the army, and such. Of course, one also researches Rhiennah, the twin, to figure out why his brother wasn't affected as well.

The downfall is that there's no (known) way to control the outcome. Soldiers that are no good under certain conditions are useless. The Sevens themselves have certain limitations on things they can do, some even put in place by natural elements. So, until they find out what controls the outcome of the symptoms, it would be a waste of a few good soldiers to simply injected them with infected DNA.

Ahh... I don't really care. I do it for aesthetics, so I don't mind what others do. As long as they're playing imaginitively and fairly.... And having fun. I don't mind. I'm too tired to mind anyway, even if I did care. Which I don't. I'm rambling. I really have to sleep. I haven't slept in 24 hours now.... x.x I'm not going to bed though....

I'm sort of hesitating to join now. Five out of seven characters are utterly unappealing to be a scientist for, and the other two haven't been created yet.

How in the world did children, ripped from their parents and thrown into an environment in which they are practically abused labrats, manage to grow up so arrogant / self-assured? I'm an evil scientist damn it, I want to bully some silly subhumans around, not get orbs of absolute death and fireballs thrown at me! :D

Well, it's only been fourteen months since the 'capture'. And don't worry, there are certain penalties for attacking the staff members as they'll find out. Or maybe they already have?

I was thinking of making myself a scientist, just to help encourage this. I mean, I played this somewhere else and I practically had to make all the scientists and play them myself. But oh well. I'll ask a friend if they can play a scientist two. It'd still only be three, but that's a little better. I really need the help as a scientist.... D:

As we know, so far, anyway. I mean, technically, different scientists, different methods. Some may very well have been worse off than others. And we're still waiting on two more. I'm thinking I should probably go out and advertise for our scientist spaces, too....
