Hey Bosnaface! I've already listened to one of these, I think, but I figured I'd actually sit down and give you some actual commentary on it, rather than just Ooh, that's neat!
I'm a sucker for drum loops. I think that's what you said you used here, right? They're clean and fun, and I really liked the ones you picked here. You need to teach me how to guitar. It's savage, sizzling, and chewy. Yeah, chewy. That's the only adjective I can really use to describe it.
Do you post your stuff on Newgrounds? I know some game developers who would kill to have this kind of music as a menu screen.
As I said, sometimes it feels a bit repetitive since there aren't any vocals overtop of it .. but that might be because I'm not a guitarist, so getting lost in the progressions and the architecture of it all isn't what I'm looking for in a song. Don't take what I said as an insult!
Ahh, I'm at 3:14 where it changes up dramatically. Never mind. Seriously. This is awesome fighting music. I'd love to use it in a short film.
(On the second link now) Again, I'm loving how crisp and tight those drums are. And then wham in slides the guitar.
Again, just really great, chewy riffs. Loving the vocal(ish?) sample in this one. I'd love to see this on the menu screen for some sort of fighting game!
That's about enough from me. Over and out!
