Captain America

I walk over the skulls and the hot sand in the desert. I hold my shield and wonder "How did I get here"? That's a question i've had for a day,since that's how long iv'e been here. Last thing I remember is being in New York City fighting the Red Skull,when the black mist appeared. That was all I remembered until now. The black mists were aliens,none i've seen before. Then, I think is everyone missing,Is the whole Avengers team missing? Or was it just me and the other person fighting Red Skull with me,Spiderman. I see a group of men walking with camels. I then think "I am in Egypt"?

I walk over to the men and they seem to have a prisoner. They don't speak much english,but I ask "Where am I?" They say "India." I think "Ok,how do i get back to the U.S"? My Avengers id card. i seee if anyone is there and silence.Complete silence. I ask them If they knew how to get to a city and they say, look down. I see I am on a cliff and a city is beneath us. I follow them down and get to the airport, on a trip to New York,non-stop.

"I'm sure he's fiiiiine," Tony drawled, draping himself across his desk. It was just three-o-clock and there were already shadows under the billionaire's eyes.

Pepper Potts stood tall with a manila envelope in her hands.

"You're not in the least bit concerned," she narrowed her eyes.

Tony sat up just enough to rub his temples. "He's fine, he's a lovable guy."

Pepper surveyed her boss and boyfriend with a musing expression. Eventually, the latter responsibility won out. She tossed the envelope on the seat across from the desk, and walked around to where Tony slumped, sweeping her hand from his shoulder, to his back.

"This is unusually kind of you," Tony mumbled.

"Yeah, well," Pepper grinned. "You look like shit."

Soon after the fight with Red Skull, Tony had started dragging his feet. Things had gotten worse. If anyone were to walk in on this office and see the CEO of Stark Industries in this state ..

Well, Pepper's massage turned into a sharp slap on the back. They wouldn't be surprised.

They had their moment. It was time to get back to business.

"Up!" she ordered, reaching for the manila envelope, whacking Tony on the head. "Grab a pen. I have things for you to sign."

I walk to the airport and get on the plane. Most people looked at me with a puzzled face. They were wondering why I was in costume. Then,it happend.

A bomb went off inside the airport. Gunshots were fired. People in the plane were screaming. I grab my shield and walk out the plane. There were men on the floor,dead.

Then I hear a voice. I turn around and protect myself with my shield. Then I hear "Cap"?

I look up and see an avengers enemy Kang the Conquerer. He says "I always knew you heroes will destroy us all. you people are weaklings,couldn't stop an invasion like the first time." He then teleports us to the future."The phantoms took over,putting the world in their image. They inslaved humans to do their bidding." He then teleoprts us back. "I come hear so you know how you let the world down.How you let the country you love down. Then he passes out,falling to the ground. I put two fingers on his neck. He's dead.

I see everyone runnning off the plane whil I run onto the plane.

I get in the pilot seat and fly the plane back home. The controls are like the quinjets,but simipler. I land at JFK and walk off. T

hey were not expecting to see Captain America walk off the plane.

I take a taxi to the city and see the sky turn pitch black.

The sun was blocked.

The phantoms are arriving.

Iron Man soared towards the airport at blistering speeds. No sooner had the news alert come in was he suiting up and ready to fly. He tried to shake off the look Pepper had given him before he rushed off, but somehow, her pursed lips and narrowed eyes were harder to dodge than homing missiles.

The sight was unlike any other. There hasn't been an invasion since toe Skrulls. Time to get ready for what I almost have to do everyday. Save New York. Save the world.

"How many are there?"

"Lots."

"Any word from Fury? The others?"

Iron Man punched a phantom out of the sky. It spiraled towards the ground. The hero hovered in the air, suspended.

"Huh, that wasn't so bad .. "

Kreeeeeeee ..

"Tony? What's happening?"

Fifty more zoomed towards him, ready to take the former's place. Iron Man registered the armada for a split-second before his thrusters engaged, propelling him away in a arc.

"Making friends."

I get out the taxi and see a man in the distance. It was Hawkeye. "Hey cap,who's your new friends?" i understand it was a joke,but this was not the right time. "Hawkeye were is the other avengers.I don't know all but Hulk went on a rampage to the empire state building and thor went to asgard maybe. Stark,who knows where he could be. All the rest, scattered around the world like spiderman in England with captain Britain and wolverine and deapool in Japan."
