I'll start a character up now. Power is still off? What about batteries and such. Do laptops with battery life still work? Phones?

Sorry I haven't posted for a while. If you're still interested, I'll keep you up to speed. Power is off. Because it's three days, batteries would still work, phones would probably be about 30% battery if they were fully charged and on power save at the time. Most of it is logic. Would a TV be playing if power was off? No. Could a battery-powered radio still be on? Yes. A laptop will still work, but internet would be sketchy, if even on. Websites left unattended and power outages usually wreck servers. You could still play games, take pictures with a computer camera or phone, or write documents. Phones can call, assuming someone's on the other end. Satellites lose orbit after months, so cells are out once the communications fall.
