Well I suppose Mr. James could have always been some sort of business man, and Mrs. James met him at a correspondance party and they proceeded to charm their way into eachothers lives for power. Opening the club was simply a way for them to climb their way to the top of the corporate latter, with bribes for memberships and secrets.
