The city of Abatu swelters in human misery. A gleaming citadel and cathedral mark the center of the metropolis, and a marble dais sits atop a spire that raises between the two beneath the sky. Beyond the Plaza of Worship, the city seems to decay. Refugees of all kinds skitter from one jury-rigged structure to the next. The grime is only punctuated by bleeding knights clad in gold, shivering priests in lash-scarred robes, and the lumbering angels with gaping maws that stretch from where a human brow would be to just above the navel.
They vomit the viscera of mortal heretics as they pass.

Welcome to the city of the Lord Glorious. Welcome to the last refuge of a damned world.
