Musical Differences
How long does a band to get to know each other so well that everyone knows everyones dark little secrets? Apparently longer than ten years. Silent Serenade came together during high school. Their rise to fame took five years. Four of the bandmates were friends before they were a complete band. Lead Guitarist, Bassist, Keyboardist, and Drummer. The only thing they needed was a lead singer to round out their ensemble. That's where Veronica, aka Roni came in. She was the last to audition and no one thought this wall flower would be superstar that would be so different from their sound that it would bring their music to a different level.
After ten years together, Silent Serenade are best friends. They live with each other nearly year round. It helped made their music better. There was drama from time to time but they didn't let that stand in their way. But now on their latest tour, tensions are running high as the rumor mill has started reporting of Roni's desire to make a solo album and split from the band.
But the thing about rumors is, they're not always based on truth. No matter how much Roni pleads with her bandmates for them to believe her, they push her away. Chayton, the lead guitarist, is the only one who doesn't keep her at arms length. Along one stop of the tour, the band decides to go to a karaoke bar where they all get smashed. This leads to Chayton and Roni getting on stage to sing a duet. This leads to the fans in the audience posting pictures and videos all over social media.
The newest buzz from the news sights was "Chayton and Roni of Silent Serenade serenading each other: Romance blooming?" Should they use that to trick the media into stopping the rumor of her leaving and stop the rest of the band from thinking she's leaving? Will something happen between Chayton and Roni? What will the other band members think? Can they save the band before it all falls apart?
