Las Serpientes were a long-standing gang that originated in Little Village. After several purges disproportionately affected their communities compared to others in the city, they decided to take it into their own hands to protect their own. They are still largely responsible for the crime that takes place the remainder of the year in their hood, but on purge night they serve as guardians.

Many of them wear an inverted triangle somewhere on their clothing or weaponry, often wearing some sort of arm band bearing the mark. They have no ranking and have been known to kill each other should the moment call for it.

They own a variety of vehicles though they are most known for rolling around in black RV’s with bulletproof windows. They have a number for women to call for their help. 364 days of the year they help women leave toxic situations, but on the night of the purge they take justice into their own hands. Women are disproportionately killed on purge night, many men using it as an opportunity to take out their anger on the women in their lives. They’re known to brand the men they defend women from with the label of their crime burned across their forehead.
