How you do everyone.
I don't know what exactly to break the ice with, so I'll just put it it plainly; I mainly came here out of boredom.
This cough and mask crap has honestly left me with not much to do, and it's not exactly easy to do a DM group IRL what with most tabletop stores being closed, I thought I'd go with the online alternative.
Hopefully I can get used to things around here, though the format kinda reminds me of spacebattles. ew.

Boredom, IRL being basically closed... great reasons to discover online RP & collaborative storytelling.What type of tabletop games do you play? Do you play DnD, or VtM?

I'm not sure what spacebattles is ahaha, but you kind of have me curious.

The best thing about creating Universes on here is there are lots of options for how you'd like to engage in and out of character! When you create a Universe, you have the ability to flesh it out with locations and rooms, etc. If you're the sort to enjoy chat-style RP, or the more immersive MUD experience, you can build out an entire multi -user dungeon. No matter what, the content can be accessed / interacted with based on the preference of the player. Chat-preferring players are easily able to interact with forum-strict players.

Well, I did a 3.5 D&D sesh once a few years ago, but since then I've become a complete blank slate when it comes to the mechanics and systems.
I know about VtM through Bloodlines and WoD lore (mainly through Hunter: the Vigil).
I prefer not to be DM as mainly my creative juices have gotten worn out ever since this one several months-long Only War campaign ended with the group disbanding bitterly.
I do prefer chat-style as I always thought a good character is forged in conversation and interaction.
