Making an arc questions`

I figure to ask here; in this case when creating an arc, is it possible to tag the relevant characters, and then the desired posts, or is it just characters in the desired posts are automatically added to the arc ? I ask because I wanted to streamline a scene currently in progress between myself and 4 others, making it easier to read with all desired and relevant characters in the arc.

But if its not possible to tag desired characters in the arc, just the posts and the characters tagged in said posts get added to the arc characters, That feels kinda unwanted and unneeded. I really just want to add the relevant characters to the arc.

So to summarise

1: can characters in a place be added to an arc ?
2: Is it posts that get added to the arc and the characters tagged then get added to the arc ?

From my past experience, I think the arcs gather the posts and thus the characters tagged in the posts.

I was a little confused about your question, as I am working off the assumption that the desired posts for an arc would also have the relevant characters already tagged.

It does, thank you; I was hoping the arc would not include certain characters not relevant to the scene at hand, but alas they do, thank you for clarifying this for me Vin :)
