The Who's Who of Possibly Pirates

Tips: 0.00 INK Postby Jadeling Hawkins on Tue Apr 22, 2008 7:16 pm

This is a thread for the listing of (and brief description of) any of their characters that exist in the Possibly Pirates Universe. That's right, all of them. Here's how it will work:

I will put up the list. Just one. It will be edited and advanced as we go along, but to keep things neat and tidy, there will be but one list. If you are involved in Possibly Pirates in any way, please PM me with your characters basic statistics (and PM me with any updates as we go along) as you want them to appear in the list. If I approve of what you send (I read all Possibly Pirates posts, so I'll know if you're embellishing or not ;) ) then I will add/edit their name on the list accordingly.

As this will be a rather long list, we're going to try and keep the information on each individual brief and to the point. Here is what I would like you to send to me, in example format:

Name: Jane Doe
Appears in: Cities of Gold, Curse of the Raksasha
Family: John Doe (husband), Jim Doe (son); George and Georgina Jones (father and mother)
Notable relations: Sally Slipknot (friend), Harry Hardwalk (nemesis)
Biography: Jane was born to a pirate mother and a librarian father. She no known siblings. After being lost at sea in a hurricane, she found herself rushed into the adventure of a lifetime with the crew of the Fledgling, where she met and fell in love with John Doe. Two years later, they had been married and had one son, Jim Doe. Still thirsting for adventure, she agreed to go on with the crew after the rescue of the Quarter Master, and her ultimate fate has yet to be decided.

So. If you consider your character a part of this universe, then please send me something along those lines. That's their name, what games they appear in, who their family is, any notable relations with other characters, and a brief biography.

Thank you!

The Fab Four
(the four major characters of the Possibly Pirates universe, around whom the whole Universe seems to revolve)

Name: James Thomas MacLeod
Appears in: Cities of Gold, Curse of the Raksasha
Family: Sir Alister Thomas MacLeod (father), Abercrombie Thomas MacLeod (brother)
Notable relations: Richelle Oaken (love interest), Raff Kelly (friend), Elizabeth McCay Darson (friend), Abercrombie Thomas MacLeod (nemesis) Habbo De los Puentes (nemesis).
Biography: James was born to a noble family, the Laird of Carin Woods, Alister Thomas MacLeod. After being lost at sea in a hurricane, he found himself rushed into the adventure of a lifetime with the crew of the Fledgling, where he met and fell in love with Richelle Oaken. Two years later, the crew and his love managed to release him from the hanging he was scheduled for. Still thirsting for adventure, he managed, with Richelle, to find a map to another fabled treasure location in the Indian Ocean.

Name: Raff Kelly
Appears in: Cities of Gold, Curse of the Raksasha
Family: Brian Kelly (father)
Notable relations: Elizabeth McCay Darson (lover), Caesar Grent (friend/foe?), Esath (friend/old shipmate), Richelle June Oaken (friend), Maya (foe), James MacLeod (friend), his grandmother (teacher)
Biography: Raff was born in Ireland and was raised at a coastal village. After being pressed into the British navy, Raff jumped ship in the Caribbean. In the British navy Raff served on the night watch and as a boarding party member, so Raff has good night vision and is skilled with pistol and blade. Since leaving the Fledging he returned to Ireland with Caesar and used his share of the gold to start and fund a rebellion. One of the first English regiments to face Raff's Rebels were a Black Watch unit from the Scottish Highlands. After defeating the outnumbered Scots, Raff received the beaten colonel's Basket-hilted claymore and the regimental colors. He now carries the sword with a promise to free Scotland and had the colors entombed with the men of the Black Watch. About a year later, Raff and a small company of guards were ambushed transporting a good deal of Raff's gold by English Dragoons and a infantry regiment. Raff took a saber cut down the left side of his face, through his left eye and he fell. A few men carried him off the field and fled. As Raff healed, word of his death spread and the rebellion was crushed without him. When he could walk again, Raff sent the other leaders into hiding and left Ireland again to find the Fledging and her captain, Elizabeth McCay Darson.

Name: Richelle June Oaken
Appears in: Cities of Gold, Curse of the Raksasha
Family: Mark Oaken (brother), Myriam Oaken (cousin)
Notable relations: James MacLeod (lover), Raff Kelly (friend), Elizabeth Darson (friend/captain), Caeser Grent (friend), Abercrombie MacLeod (nemesis),
Biography: Richelle was born the eight child (and only daughter) of a blacksmith and his wife. She was trained in the arts of ladyship by an aunt that married well, but was instead attracted to the life of a pickpocket. She became quite skilled in the art, but her parents eventually had enough of meetings with constables and she was shipped out to live with an uncle. But the ship she was on was wrecked in a hurricane, though she miraculously survived. It was here that her life truly began. She met and fell deeply in love with James MacLeod, and became a member of the good ship Fledgling, captained by Elizabeth Darson (both individuals being survivors of the storm). They discovered the Seven Cities of Gold, became exceedingly rich...and then James was arrested by his own brother. Richelle spent the next two years attempting to get him free, and finally succeeded, with the assistance of her friends, on the day he was meant to be hung. However, she had the great misfortune of discovering a scroll, hidden away inside a staff. Upon touching the scroll, which turned out to be a map to the legendary city of Elkab, she became the recipient of the curse of a Raksasha, and now must reach Elkab if she is to survive.
