Next up, my obligatory tour-guide of RPGs features.

Here are some things you might want to check out as you get settled.

First and foremost, RPG has a chat app that just launched. You can actually download it to your mobile device, so that's pretty cool! You can also use the site chat, but you're encouraged to pop in and say hello!

We have a few different ways to roleplay here! We have our persistent RP world The Multiverse. It has an expansive list of worlds to adventure in, and you can take any of your characters anywhere and delve into whatever plots are ongoing. This place has web of many Universes so that you don't feel you only have to go to one place or end your character's story. It's essentially a sandbox roleplay, and it is very welcoming to new players! Ambassadors and players with characters in the Multiverse will be very happy to guide you through it!

Then we have our Indy-Universes, and these are our niche and individual Universes. What makes them different from the Multiverse is that they typically have a smaller cast of characters, require GM approval, and a storyline that is much smaller. You can find the newest ones at the top! Some are private or 1x1, so don't apply to those. However, there are plenty of open ones, and if you are not sure if someone is accepting - just send the GM a PM. Partially-Stars, one of the Moderators developed a pretty cool and in-depth guide about how to start your own if you can't find something that suits you just yet.

If you don't know where to start and you just kind of want to play around until you figure something out, you can find a list of Starter Locations here. Also, Ambassadors on the site are dedicated to helping new members navigate the Multiverse, among other things.

I have put together a guide about how to be active on RPG and keep the forums alive. While the forums are not always as active as they could be, it gives misleading information about the site. Our roleplays and Universes are EXTREMELY active, but we are attempting to also help the forum have some life as well.
